Tourist trap, too expensive for what you get. Just book a symphony performance instead
Everything was perfect! We really enjoyed the dinner and the concert. It was similar to a fairytale as the atmosphere was really different from what we used to see in other shows.
The musicians tried their best. The concert is horribly overpriced for this level of performance.
It was a beautiful setting. Very talented performers. The dinner was elegant and the music exceptional.
We had the dinner with the concert tonight. The concert was fantastic. Really tremendous. It way exceeded our expectations. The soprano was absolutely amazing. I recommend getting a superior seat to sit towards the front. For dinner we sat in a beautiful room. The food was fine. The ambiance was great, and the service was great. They definitely do not have enough bathrooms for all the people, but overall, this was a highlight of our trip.
Just what we wanted, a diverse programme of Viennese music and dance, a taster in other words. Not too high brow but pitched just right for us eclectic folks who happily include classical music in our musical experiences.
I really enjoyed this concert and the pre-show dinner! The staff were amazing and so were all the dishes. I ate way too much bread though and couldn't finish everything. I loved the intimate venue and the variety of artists and repertoire. I believe it was an eight-piece orchestra, a soprano, and a duo of dancers, and the lead musician talked through some things to introduce a couple of the numbers. Felt like I was in Bridgerton!
The concert was excellent. The dinner was ok except it didn’t come with any water to drink. They offered the choices of red or white wine without telling you that need extra charge and also when we asked for water, they sent a liter bottle of water and the bill for the water was around 7 euro! That was ridiculous!!
Dinner was excellent, great service & food. The concert was totally amazing would definitely recommend the best night in Vienna.
Just wonderful. Our best experience in Vienna. Delightful music and wonderful performers and a lovely venue.
Exceptional performance enjoyed every minute. Food was great. Service was excellent. Don’t miss it. 😀
Nice dinner before venue. Music good, dancers ok...a little stiff, opera singer good. A pleasant evening but as stellar as we expected
An absolutely amazing, divine, and beautiful experience!!! Love the intimate setting. A must event while in Vienna!!
The concert was a delight and met all our expectations. I would recommend this all round performance to other tourists in Vienna.
We were absolutely thrilled to attend the concert at Palais Auersperg. It was a truly unforgettable evening, and every moment of the performance was captivating. My partner, who usually ends up dozing off during concerts, was completely engrossed from beginning to end. Watching him sit in awe throughout the entire performance was a testament to how exceptional the musicians and the atmosphere were. Thank you for giving us such a beautiful and memorable experience.
Thoroughly delightful and entertaining 1.5 hours concert with first-rate outstanding musicians, an exceptional opera singer, and beautiful ballet dancers. We bought Category A Seats to see the performers closer up on the stage in this intimate setting (the size of a hotel conference room). We love hearing the variety of all-time favorites arias and pieces by Mozart, Strauss, Pizzaola, etc. The performers' energy was contagious, as they were having a fun time too. Highly recommend and would go again.
The music and soprano were fantastic. I had issue with the how poorly the venue was. It was sweltering inside and as it was in the low 50s we had sweaters on. People all around us were squeezed in and hot. The venue was not nice at all there were stains in the carpet, the fake flowers at the foot of the stage were missing in areas and you could see the green foam. The “candles” in the chandelier and wall scones were all bent sideways or where the light bulbs were missing the lights. I wish I would have gone to one of the other options that I was contemplating as this was not what the photos showed nor what I thought a night out in Vienna to listen to classical music while on vacation would have been like. Very misrepresentations of the venue.
We enjoyed the concert which was a mixture of music, opera and ballet. Would highly recommend.
A truly wonderful and unforgettable experience. The performances included the most recognisable classical pieces with ballet and an incredible soprano. Flawless and highly recommended.
Great experience. We were close to all the musicians. Along with the singing and dancing it felt like a real opera.
Went to s number of concerts while in Vienna and this one was the most fun. The soprano soloist had a strong clear voice that resonated through the room even when walking along the audience. When the time came for it she was very engaging with the audience. Also enjoyed the dancing which helped to interpret the music. They made the most of the small stage that they had to work open. The musicians were talented and enjoyed having the flute and oboe included which was a little different than most of the other small concerts we had been to that just had a string section. Good acoustics in the venue.
This concert was so much fun with a combination of instrumentalists, a soprano, and ballet dancers. The musical selections were outstanding with Mozart, Vivaldi, Bach, Strauss, Brahms and others. The venue was beautiful with fine acoustics. The pianist, Vinicius Kattah, was the charming master of ceremonies while the first violin, Daniel Holguin, played very well and kept the musical ensemble moving along at just the right pace. The soprano, Brigitte Simon was an excellent vocalist and very vivacious and entertaining. The dancers were very good and very entertaining. If you are in Vienna don't miss this gem of a performance in a classic venue.
We love our classical music, so when in Vienna, a unique opportunity to attend a live performance was never in doubt. The Imperial Gala Concert offers exactly that, and in Palais Auersperg no less. Look, this is a commercial initiative aimed mainly at the tourist market. So I've heard better performances, but never in Vienna. It was a most enjoyable evening and I would recommend it - but book concert only, skip the meal (much better food elsewhere at much lower prices).
Absolutely fantastic experience. Not every night you can have dinner then attend a concert in a palace. The dinner was beautiful. The service from Nadi and Ali was professional, friendly and first class. If you’re on the fence about the VIP package, just do it.
It was amazing . Dancers and musicians were great . Only negative was that the place was very crowded. Chairs were very close together.
The music and the performers were spectacular but the waiters and the food were utterly a disaster. Enjoy the music/Eat elsewhere.
Nice venue, talented musicians
We got to experience a very watchable concert. The concert offered many well-known pieces and we enjoyed the whole performance. The room was relatively small and it gave us a close experience to orchestra, soloist and dancer.
It's expensive and you get so much beauty in return. Really a beautiful building, beautiful music played, great dancers and what a voice. Definitely do when you're in Vienna.
I'd repeat. Entertaining program, never boring. Grandmasters, super nice evening. The room very special, good acoustics. No microphone and is heard perfectly giving away a very authentic experience. Recommended.
