We had a great time on the tour. Daria was very knowledgeable and we liked that it was a limited group size. Super interesting locations, fabulous wine and great snack pairings. Highly recommend!

It was a nice experience visiting three kind of vinery. The wine was good and the guide was excellent explaining a history of the places we visited
A lovely tour of exclusive, truly hidden wines cellars. The wines were typical Austrian but not unusual.
This tour is more about the places than The wine. Not that the wine wasn’t good because it was but the places you enjoyed were great. Tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful a great take in Viennia
Our guide. Ililona was so knowledgeable and she handled the English and German customers perfectly. She opened a whole new world for us (under the city). The wines and food were wonderful
Selection of cellars was a thoughtful view into the history of District 1. Lovely array of Viennese wines!
Highly recommend this wine tour if you’re looking for something unique to do in Vienna. We got to see three different cellars, each special in its own way.
Everything about this tour is quite nice. The cellars are cool, and the wine is good. However, we had a group of 12 people and they used 2 bottles for all 12 people. This will leave u getting less than a glass per person. Beware, if u truly want to drink the wine, taste it, have a few classes of each wine, this place is not it. They are very stingy with the wine. Each bottle is only 10 euros, yet they charge 100 euros per person and split only 2 bottles amongst 12 people. They have 1,200 euro revenue, yet wont spend more than 20 euro on the wine. Even if they would use one more bottle that is okay. I think this would be more worth it if it was 50 euro, not 100 .
Our guide was engaging and enthusiastic. She really made this an excellent experience for us! She did the tour in German and English and gave us all a wonderful experience! Would definitely recommend!
We had a great time. Fascinating to see the hidden cellars of Vienna. And some really beautiful wines to complement the experience. Definitely recommend.
Great tasting wine in some very exclusive places. Our guide was very knowledgeable and told us some very cool facts about the city and its relationship to wine.
It was interesting to see the cellars however I would suggest separating English and German tours. There wasn't enough time and with predominately German speakers we were left wondering what was being said. German speakers on the tour ended up explaining things to us.
Our guide, Nick, was excellent. He was knowledgeable about the places we went and the wine we drank, as well as very accommodating to someone who needed assistance with the narrow and sometimes difficult stairways.
Super unique experience. We had no idea how extensive the tunnels were in Vienna! The history was great, the wine was even better!
Amazing and unique and fun!! Nick What's an amazing.and knowledgavle guide! We didn't know how we would enjoy this.at first, but we came away with a fantastic experience! The hidden cellars turned out to me hidden gems! What fun and a very class act as well!
We booked last minute when another company last minute cancelled our long-booked winery tour. This was such an interesting mix of wine stops and history lesser known . Thank you for a great time!
Overall, the tour was interesting, the wine was yummy, and our guide was super knowledgeable and nice! It was fun to get to see places that not everyone has access to on a regular basis. Reasons for a 4 instead of a 5: We signed up for the tour, as it said the languages would be German and English. We were the only English speakers, so the guide said she planned on doing the tour in German, but she would take us to the side and do an English version for us. It honestly worked OK that way, as we still got the historical knowledge, etc; however, I think we missed a lot by not being able to chat with everyone else, as they were all speaking German. When the group would sit together to enjoy the wines, it was super awkward to not be able to speak German as well, and we felt a little bit left out. I fully understand wanting to do a whole tour in German in Austria—I’m not saying everything should be in English—but the tour was marketed with English. It just didn’t have that camaraderie feeling that many Viator tours have.
We are so glad we chose this tour! There is NO way anyone could know what lies beneath the streets of Vienna! Such history! Our guide, Melanie, was friendly and personable. We tried a delicious wine in each of the three locations and the food accompaniments at each spot were next level! Highly recommend.
Really enjoyed seeing the cellars and hearing their history. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable and provided our tour in both English and German. We received a generous glass of wine at each cellar. The wines we sampled were lovely and the snacks provided at each place tasty. We would have liked to have sampled more wines (perhaps smaller samples of 3 wines at each cellar rather than one big glass at each). Otherwise, highly recommend this tour.
This tour was FABULOUS! We usually don’t do “tours” as we are seasoned travelers but I saw this and booked on a whim and was sooo happy! Stefan was the best guide. We visited 3 hidden wine cellars…very exclusive ones…that aren’t open to the public. The wines were fantastic, the snacks were plentiful and our guide was extremely knowledgeable. Book it now!
This experience was amazing! The guide knows a lot of info, he is involved in the tour and careful with everyone. I really enjoyed it & I recommend it to anyone who visits Vienna. I used to live there and this tour was such a great surprise, because I have discovered a new hidden face of Vienna.
The tour was incredible! We learned a lot about the different local wines, had beautiful and intimate settings at each tasting room, and the wine was delicious of course!
Great tour , amazing what is hidden in plain sight. The guide was knowledgeable and you can see he likes what he is doing
I booked this tour for my wife’s birthday. Being Vegan, this was the only tour that was able to provide vegan options. Stefan was our tour guide and us being the only (first language) English speaking tourists, he made us feel extremely welcome. As for the tour itself, 3 cellars in 3 different locations, full of history and you drink good wine along the way paired with food. What’s not to like?
Exciting tour - even for a Viennese, the wine cellars were very hidden. Interesting information well told. Small group, always received water and also small snacks with the wines. Restrooms available at all 3 wine cellars.
A very interesting and well-maintained tour to hidden non-public wine cellars in the underground of Vienna. The Führerin was very sympathetic and knew the history of Vienna as well as wine. For the price, a fourth location would be desirable.
It was a very nice tour and a successful wine tasting. Our guide ,Lana, tried very hard, was friendly and provided us with a lot of information. Thank you very much dear Lana, you did your job super well!!!!
Our wine cellar tour was really exciting and very nicely done. We learned a lot and saw a lot. All the wines tasted very good and the snacks were also perfect! Can we recommend from the heart!:-)
We did the tour for the second time, as we wanted to share this experience with friends. Group very entertaining and pleasant, our guide Elisabeth tried and courteous. Unfortunately, the culinary originality and the cellar selection could not be compared to the visit 2 years ago. We missed the basement in the oven hole very much. The still empty Laurenzerberg could not really replace it. Price / performance for the preliminary visit, with an interesting tour no longer suitable.
Interesting and informative. Great wine, cool places, a great guide and a great atmosphere. I can warmly recommend this tour.
I came to Vienna with my wife for the wedding anniversary and we had received the wine tour as a gift from our children. We would have preferred the money elsewhere, as this tour was almost cheeky: 3 glasses of wine, some cheese without side dish and prepackaged antipasti hastily thrown on the plates, really not recommended!!
We had a wonderful tour guide who told a lot of interesting facts. We are Viennese and have learned a lot about wine & history from Vienna. The wine cellars were very different. The snacks offered, however, only in the first wine cellar typical of Viennese culture. The wine tastings were average in quality.
