Lily is the best tour guide I have ever met! She is very professional and enthusiastic about her work. She explained everything so clearly and made the trip truly enjoyable. She gave us an amazing experience, and we really appreciated her dedication and passion. Highly recommended!

The bus was clean, the driver made me feel safe, and our guide, Lilly was fantastic. She did a great job providing a little history before each destination. She was kind and personable too and was happy to answer questions. Highly recommend.
An incredible experience, one I wish to one day replicate with my own children. The sights, the views, Olga, it was perfect. Olga, our guide, is punctual, well informed, funny, and passionate about the whole experience. 10/10 no notes.
We had an amazing experience today, loved every bit of it. As four ladies travelling we wanted to travel in the safest way possible & this trip was definitely safe. We left some of our belongings on the coach whilst hopping off at different locations and nothing went missing. We lacked knowledge so wanted guidance and explanations along the way which our tour guide Olga was amazing for. She was also very helpful advising us where the best no fee bathrooms are and best places to eat. There was AC on the coach aswell as charging ports which we were grateful for. We got to see many different versions of Austria, the natural lakes, valleys, waterfalls, city life and the quiet life all on the journey. Our coach driver was very friendly and took an extra route to show us the scenic fields and houses. Again another mention of Olga as she gave us an additional comfort break towards the end as it was a long journey. As we were passing through different sights such as wolfgangsee lake Olga was continuously sharing her knowledge. We were also given a small token from Olga which we were surprised and grateful for. The price is very reasonable for what you get. Definitely worth it.
It was an amazing experience, definitely worth it. Sofia the guide was amazing too!
This was a well balanced day out at an affordable price. Lily the guide was informative and kept things going. Nice stop at the Castle broke the jourbey. The village was beautiful and wife took a tonne of pictures..
The tour and all the cities we visited were incredibly beautiful, truly beyond expectations. Every stop felt special, but Hallstatt especially stood out — this small town looks absolutely magnificent and breathtaking. It honestly felt unreal, like something from a postcard or a fairytale. It was hard to believe such a place actually exists in the real world. I would also like to exceptionally highlight our guide, Alexander. He was extremely informative, friendly, and engaging throughout the entire tour. He shared a lot of interesting facts, answered all of our questions with patience, and made the experience even more enjoyable. On top of that, he gave us great recommendations and inspiration on what to see in Vienna, where to eat, and how to make the most of our time there. His guidance added so much value to the whole experience. Highly recommended!
Great places, friendly staff, driver was good. Minibus mic was bad and guide walked too fast past Christmas market so we got lost finding our way back to the bus without guidance.
Definitely worth taking a trip to see Halsdatt,, beautiful scenery. Very peaceful. My only recommendation is if you want to spend more time at one of these locations, don't try and bundle too many locations to see otherwise you don't have much time to enjoy these awesome locations. And our tour guide SABRINA was Great !! And beautiful
This tour was a dream come true. I’ve wanted to see Admont Abbey Library for at least the last decade of my life. This tour gave me that and more. And the low numbers made travelling easier as there were less people to wait for!
very good organized trip, Hallstatt is a wonderful place by the lake in the mountains and Gmunden stop was a very good idea the description of the trip is false, abbey was not on the shedule and the Skywalk was planned instead, but I was satisfied wit this change, thanks Dasha and Genadyj very good stay
This trip was amazing from beginning to end. First, I had the luxury of being picked up at my hotel to join the rest of the group with Tour Guide Sofia Mezhul. We were all given a big welcome from Sofia upon our arrival. We made stops along the way to Hallstatt for food, sites and photos including a beautiful castle. Sofia is extremely knowledgeable on the history and culture of Austria--all questions and concerns were addressed and answered without hesitation. Sofia was very helpful, and she answered all of our questions in a very pleasant manner. Sofia seemed tireless. I plan to return to Wien in the near future. It is nice to know that there are considerate, pleasant and knowledgeable guides like Sofia Mezhul. Barbara Bova
Sofia the tour guide did a great job! Hallstatt was very crowded but that could be expected from a beautiful touristy town.
I was looking for the best option to visit Hallstatt from Vienna and came across 7Travel The entire organising of the tour as well as the whole experience was very professional & well planned. Our guide Sophia led the tour extremely well sharing knowledge insights about Austria as well as helping solo guests like me click amazing pictures. Wouldn't have known so many insider Austria stories without her! Thanks 7travels for this wonderful experience!
One of the best tours I’ve had in a long time. Can’t think of a single advice for the crew and the itinerary - it was perfect to the tee. Special words for Sofia who was the heart and soul of the tour. Not only is she supremely knowledgeable, but at the same time highly cognizant of her responsibilities as the captain of the ship. Not leaving a single person behind, while making sure we are sticking to the schedule- she does such a fabulous and thankless job. And her storytelling is very visual and full of funny anecdotes which keeps the tour very entertaining. Ensuring the right amount of volume for all the rows to listen to the commentary, and the right amount of classical music to suit everybody’s tastebuds in music - speaks about how much she and cared for the travelers. Highest respect for her, for being so throughly professional and keeping such high spirits for a tour as long as this one. Great visuals all along the way, and not just at the end point (Hallstatt). No one should think twice before taking this trip. I’ll do it again!
Great experience at Hallstatt but could use more than 2hrs there, not enough time, couldn’t get to skywalk because it was closed and was disappointed and didn’t know that before booked the trip.
Most memorable part was the voice of our guide - so sexy)) i have never be told about history with such sexy voice )) Sofia is the funniest guide that i ever had
Sophia/Sofia was a fantastic tour guide. She was very knowledgable and had a great sense of humor. Props to her for herding around a full bus of us.
Busy place. 98% Tourist trap. OK and quaint but expensive shopping and food. If in the area visit but visit will not be whole day.
informative interesting Fantastic scenery shame the weather closed in fog limited the views but thats what you get travelling in DECEMEBER
Long journey but really worth it. Our tour guide Dasha was amazing. She made our trip enjoyable with a lot of information and history with also Austrian folk music. The Abbey and Haalstaat are really a gem. Also we saw some snow aswell. Highly recomended. Well done.
I chose this tour because it included the Admont Abbey as well as Hallstatt. Great tour from start to finish! Our tour guide was fun and shared a lot of interesting historical knowledge. She was kind enough to take pictures for people and advised on how to get the most out of each stop. I would highly recommend this tour!
Great guide who told lots of stories. It’s a lot to get in in one day, so there is not a lot of time at the library. I wish they had skipped the first bathroom/food break in the morning, which was only about a half hour into the drive, and instead gave us a bit more time at the spots.
Sophia did a great job with the tour! She was very knowledgeable and I learned a ton about not only the towns we visited, but about general Austrian history as well.
Great tour. The area is absolutely beautiful and I highly recommend it. My only reason for not giving it 5 starts is due to the breaks and time spent in Hallstatt. The 30 minutes at each break on the highway was too long. Those should be 15 minutes each. And because it is winter, 3 hours in Hallstatt was too long. We only needed two hours tops as many places were closed and there isn't enough to do for 3 hours. But loved the area. It's breathtaking.
Hallstatt is a must in Vienna, it’s so beautiful and I’m glad we got to spend 3 hours there. If the tour offers less then 3 hours it’s too little time. We had other stops also very pretty and interesting. Food places were ok but not cheap. The tour guide kept us entertained with information about Vienna history and music. Overall great experience, would highly recommend
Sophia is a wonderful tour guide, I wish I could spend more time in Hallstatt, and the weather was perfect, every photo looks like painting.
Sofia was the best!! & The towns and scenery we saw were absolutely beautiful. We had a lovely time!
God’s Alps are beautiful but logistics failed . Improvements based on this trip: The guided did not manage a group of clients who were late on every leg of the trip which was disrespectful of all others which had dire consequences. 1) the itinerary was disrupted at every leg of trip. Unfortunately, she prioritized them over the 12 hour trip needs of the other guest. 2) stress on the other guests escalated progressively 3) the driver was stressed and had to work longer hours than allowed, Thus safety became an issue during the longest leg of the trip. To highlight this point…. The last dinner stop was late and expected 26 guests to order dinner, eat, and do bathroom break in under 30 minutes. This was not a snack stop. This was a dinner stop. This was stressful.
The visit is nice. In the end, we didn't stop at Ort Castle but yes during 15 minutes at Traunkirchen Pier. As a bad comment: Hallstat is after the abbey, so in the month of October there is NO sun when you get Hallstatt. I think it would be worth getting up earlier but seeing it with the sun's rays, before 2:00 p.m. because, at that time, the sun stays behind the mountains and does not illuminate the forest, the lake or the city.
This trip to the medieval village of Hallstadt was simply amazing. The view from the top of the funicular railway was breathtaking. The other town we visited also charming but not near as good as this
Our tour guide was great. I can't remember her name but she was a Ukrainian young lady who was very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour was excellent. Hallstatt was the highlight for me. I would highly recommend this trip
This was a really good trip. While the weather was less than spectacular (cloudy, slight rain), the scenery was amazingly gorgeous. The bus itself was very comfortable and the guide (Sofia) was excellent. She provided really good historical background while delivering it in a fun way. We were given the option at the start of skipping Admont Abbey due to heavy traffic backups that would have resulted in less time at Hallstatt (subsituted Gmunden instead). We all agreed it was OK so we did. Probably not an equal substitution (Gmunden was interesting, but limited appeal) but having the complete three hours at Hallstatt was well worth the tradeoff. Overall, I'd recommend this trip and I'd HIGHLY recommend Sofia!
This trip was a wonderful experience. Hallstatt is beautiful, and Sofia was a great tour guide. She shared a lot of interesting information about the sites and Austria throughout the trip, and was helpful with answering any questions. The entire day felt very organized and we had a good amount of time to enjoy Hallstatt. Thank you Sofia!
Hallstatt was unbelievably beautiful!!! Can’t believe people are fortunate enough to live there. The young lady on the bus (tour guide) talked way TOO MUCH.. Don’t know if it was the microphone or what, but you totally could not understand her!
We loved the trip to Hallstatt. The scenery was great. Loved the experience at Hallstatt as well. Wish we had more time there to visit the salt mine but it was a long day from Vienna anyway
Ok, so let’s get one thing straight! ignore the people who say it’s very long on the coach - of course it’s going to be you’re travelling to the alps! the trip is broken up where you can see sights on the way, you have a maximum of 3.5 hours in Hallstatt by itself so make sure you visit the salt mines!! ignore buying food there as the queue is very long for anything! You’ll have the opportunity prior to eat something on a break on the way there Tip: -take some cash with you as you may need it for Hallstatt - take waterproof shoes or extra socks if it’s going to rain otherwise you will have soggy feet as I wore trainers - take some snacks on the coach and battery pack for your phone - check the weather before hand, it does get cold so wrap up appropriately Kudos to Dasha and the team for organising - loved the information they provided and very open to questions. Make sure you’re listening too as there could be quizzes!! Coach is comfortable and toilet breaks occur every 1/1.5 hour on the way there and 2 hours on the way back. Don’t think twice about booking this trip!! Well worth it!
The experience was a positive one from beginning to end. We were picked up on time and taken to a very comfortable bus in which we travelled for the rest of the day. The bus was well air conditioned and even had a toilet in case of need in between stops. Our guide, Sofia, kept us entertained throughout the long rides with a lively commentary on the history of Austria. She gave us good tips on where to go during our free time and very patiently took photos for us. I wish we could have had a little bit more time in Halstatt, however it is a great distance away from Vienna, and therefore there is only so much time you can spend there without getting back very late. We did have enough time for a lovely boat ride and managed to walk around and take some beautiful pictures as well. Halstatt is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures!! Thank you for the very professional service, highly recommend it to anyone who would like to experience Austria's alpine beauty!
You must go on this excursion! It was a long day but well worth it. The drive through the country and Alps was incredible. Dasha was our guide and really made the trip. She has an excellent story telling ability and has tons of information to share as well as fun facts. Hallstatt is an incredible little village on the water, very secluded and charming. There is a train to the city too but you miss out on the views of the drive. Highly recommend.
Great guide, Dascha, very informative and helpful and kind. Good driver. But trip is waaay too long, TOTALLY TOURISTA LIKE RED ANTS, so tiresome waste of time weari
Sofia was an amazingly friendly and nice guide on my tour. It was my solo trip and the day was amazing. She helped me to click the pictures even. Amd she was so good in speaking nice english with all of us. The bus was comfortable too.
The Abby complex was far too vast for only 30 minutes to explore. The crowds in Hallstatt made for long lines for everything, so the 2.5hours there was somewhat frantic. I advise not to go on the weekend. The vistas and view were stunning and all was so worth seeing. Bus ride was very comfortable, except driver should turn on air conditioning while we are boarding instead of waiting till everyone was onboard. Those who show up on time get to sit and shelter waiting for the stragglers. Our tour guide, whose name I forget, was very pleasant and made the drive time more interesting.
Comfortable coach, 48 passenger bus. The Abbey was phenomenal. Hallstatt was beyond gorgeous. Just wish we had more time to explore at both locations. Tour guide was informative.
Absolutely fantastic tour! Katalina our guide was very informative and helpful the entire way, she absolutely kicked butt! I loved the hotel pickup in the morning as this helped me as a foreigner avoid getting lost early in the morning! The tour itself was also fantastic! The bus/van ride was very comfortable and easy to ride in. The provided microphone and ear pieces were a life saver as this allowed us to all very easily hear Katalina our driver and tour guide throughout the entire tour. I appreciated that there were stops along the way for food, bathrooms, and just a way to stretch your legs. If you love information, history, mountains, water, or just touring new places then this is the tour for you. Thank you! (Also apologies if I spelled Katalina incorrectly, she was absolutely fantastic and I wanted to thank her again).
Hallstatt and the Admont Abbey were beautiful but the stop in Traunkirchen was unnecessary for a 10 minute “photo-opp”, aand added extra time. Biggest complaint was that the tour schedule was not laid out on the website - no idea that an all day trip would routinely extend over 12 hours, and that was without delays. IWe had minor traffic delays, no problem) Two beautiful rest stops outbound and inbound but did not know that we could plan on an entire meal at each. Did not arrive in Hallstatt until 2pm, very late for a person with health issues that needed to eat sooner- it would have been fine if we had known in advance and could have planned snacks, etc.
I truly enjoyed this trip. The bus was quite comfortable, with AC and chargers at every seat. I fell in love with Admont Abbey, there are so many great things to do and experience there. I’ve never been big on ideas of enlightenment era but this time I had no choice but to succumb to the charms of this place. The tour guide(Sofia) did not only tell us the history of Austria and of remarkable people who lived there in an engaging and entertaining way but also put on the classical music that was composed by Austrians musicians, which made the trip even more pleasurable.
There is so much amazing things to see In Hallstatt is an amazing place. We would have given it a 5 star if our guide was little bit more informative and have a little bit energy to answer our questions without giving us attitude.
hallstatt was a bit crowded during my visit but went to places with a lesser crowd and it was more enjoyable. hotel pick up was a great option.
Hallstatt is one of the prettiest places in the world, so the tour company didn’t have to do much more than get us there and back. Enjoyed ferry trip on the lake and walking around the pretty town. Our Ukrainian guide, however, added several long and unnecessary stops (on commission?) and as a result it was a VERY long day (had to be at the bus before 8am and got back after 9:30pm).
The departure point was the "Tourist Info" in Albertinaplatz. The tour operator sent us a message the day before giving detail description of how to go there. So it started nicely. The transport was a modern micro-bus, with comfortable clean seats and wide windows. The tour guide did a good job, she kept giving us details of the places the bus was passing through, with Mozart's classical musics in between. The coffee-breaks were nicely designed within the tour, at two branches of "Landzeit". The first one had a nice terrace with a great mountain view. They even had Gluten free snacks, so it was a plus for me. We first visited the Admont Abbey, with free tickets from the tour guide (I did not expect to have free tickets to be honest). However, I felt that 1 and a half hour is very less for a thorough-tour of the place, and it was a lunch break too. So the time of stay should have been at least 2 hours and a half for a proper visit. Next, we started towards Hallstatt. The audio guide by the tour guide continued. The Scenic beauty of the journey path is not possible to describe in words. We arrived Hallstatt past 2.15-ish. We were given around 2 hours to visit HallStatt. Since me and my friend could not have the lunch earlier, it took us for an hour to sit and eat fresh lunch by the side of the lake. However, it was a nice afternoon with grilled fish on our plate and there was relaxing nice weather. Again, I would say the time given to us to return to the microbus was very little for an actual Hallstatt tour. It would need minimum 4 hours to have a nice tour even a relaxing stroll around. From Hallstatt we were taken to another place where we were given only 10 mins for taking photos. This was again another small amount of time, because grasping the beauty of the place by own eyes and taking photos cannot be done in the same time. I was a bit sad at the end when because of my health condition I stopped to drink some water (it was half-a-minute late than the starting time of the bus) and the tour guide behaved a bit rude and said, "We don't have time, You can drink water in the bus". I mean, you can hurry up the tourists in any time but when they are drinking water? It was very rude, and I decided that at the next coffee break I will be the first one returning to the bus, and guess what? I was the first, but this time the tour guide did not yell at other tourists who were late (even more than a couple minutes) . Note to be taken that me and my friend were the "only" South Asian tourists in the trip. Although sub-consciously, the tour guide's attitude towards us might be influenced by our ethnicity, who knows? At the end, the returning road to Vienna was far too long. By searching in Google map real time, I saw that the bus could easily take an another route which could save 2 hours of travel time (but the road needed "toll"). I am not an expert of routes but I felt that the journey time was way more than the actual trip time. At the end, I would say fare-wise the trip was fair. I would easily give the trip a 5 star but because of the Tour Guide's rude yelling at me being half a minute late for drinking water, and the choice of longer returning route to Vienna, I would give this tour a 4-star.
