This was a beautiful concert in an old historic church. The performance was incredible and the pieces they chose were just lovely. What an amazing evening.

Beautiful setting for cello ensemble concert. Great acoustics. Intimate...could really see the musicians playing their instruments. A ten!
I liked the violins and the other string instruments because they created a rich and powerful sound. I really enjoyed this concert. It was a wonderful musical experience, and I would love to visit this church again for another concert.
Wonderful concert experience. I enjoyed the mix of piano with “two hands” and piano with string quartet! Concert goers be aware that the program is only in German (use a translation app), and the zone 1 chairs are not very comfortable. However, that doesn’t detract from the wonderful music!! All 6 of us really enjoyed it!
Best concert in Vienna, beautiful performance, amazing sound, beautiful setting, well organised.
Amazing concert and program. Bethoveen and Arensky performed by hand picked soloists …. Amazing. And the church…. Mesmerizing. Recommend to all classical music lovers
An elegant performance of timeless classics, delivered with precision, passion, and artistry. I decently recommend it for your next visit!
The combination of breathtaking classical music and the stunning Gothic atmosphere created an unforgettable experience. The musicians were incredibly talented and performed with so much passion and precision! The atmosphere inside the church was elegant and truly special. The staff were also exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and professional, making the entire evening smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. If you are visiting Vienna and want to enjoy world-class classical music in a unique and historic setting, this is an absolute must. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Vivaldi vs Paganini was electrifying—virtuosity, passion, stunning strings, and excellent musicians!
Amazing energy, great sound, and unforgettable vibes. The orchestra truly delivered a fantastic concert !!!!
I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Klangkultur. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional, making the whole evening feel truly special from the very beginning. The classical concerts they organize at Minoritenkirche are simply outstanding — beautiful music performed in a breathtaking atmosphere. The combination of the historic church and the exceptional musicians created an unforgettable experience. Everything was perfectly organized, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Klangkultur to anyone visiting Vienna and looking for a memorable classical music evening.
I went again, with friends, yet it still amazes me how nice the concerts are. this time it was all Mozart, and great soloists. very enjoyable pieces and a well put together programme. won't be my last time !
An elegant concert that was enjoyable from start to finish. I would recommend to anyone considering attending future concerts.
The concert included Easter related pieces of Bach, Bethoven and the unfinished of Schubert. The team was a string quintet and partially also a piano. The musician were seated while playing and hidden by the first rows so we could not see them while playing. The accoustics was very poor, such that we could hardly hear them, I had the feeling the sounds are as if coming out from a cave, blurred and unclear. I was very disappointed. I felt like fallen into a turists' trap.
Amazing concert experience, I highly recommend it for your next visit, the night filled with great music and energy!
Absolutely wonderful! The concert offered a carefully curated program, and the soloist’s performance was truly captivating. The level of musicianship and the quality of the classical pieces were outstanding – a real treat for anyone who loves classical music.
A beautiful and intimate concert in the stunning Minorite Church. The piano performance was expressive and captivating, and the acoustics of the church made the music sound even more magical. A wonderful classical music experience in the heart of Vienna that I would highly recommend.
I was skeptical that this concert would be a tourist trap, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. Everything about the setting, the musicians, the programming, and ambience were 11/10, top notch, best of the best. We saw a program which juxtaposed Vivaldi’s Four Seasons with an Argentinian composer’s interpretation. The mix of classic and contemporary was so thoughtful and stimulating. The concert master was perfection and played most of the music from memory. The rest of the players must have all been professional philharmonic or orchestra members. If you have a chance to see this ensemble and in this space, definitely take it!
A wonderful experience that we enjoyed very much, and really worth it to be attended by all and we'd love to do it again
It was amazing. The musicians were very talented and the main violinist was fantastic. So much passion on her performance. The only downside is that people are allowed to take pictures and film during the performance, which was a bit of distraction because of the lights.
Beautiful, peaceful concert in a magnificent church on Christmas night. The performers were top-notch, the entry process was easy, and the church was heated and comfortable.
Toilets close before the end of the concert. The church has a beautiful mosaic of the Last Supper...
Brilliant musicians, gorgeous setting, quite the experience. Even our grumpy teenagers had to admit it was amazing to watch them! We got category 1 tickets so we're about 6 rows back. There was a queue 25 mins before the performance so get there early.
OK, but not that good. The pieces were played methodically, lacking a theme. The building was rather cold, the audience didn't know when to clap, and not particularly enjoyable
A gorgeous concert in a lovely church. The music was so softly played and it was wonderful to listen to! It was a perfect break from sightseeing and definitely helped getting into the Christmas spirit. As advertised, easy to find, well organised, great value for money. Would definitely come back.
Some colleagues and I went to this concert whilst in Vienna in December. The church was beautiful, acoustics amazing and we listened to a wonderful mix of classical music. Would recommend.
A team of impressive musician. The church was not grandly built like others, but it was packed and very well respected.
It’s what you expected to be, very nice church and a lot of amazing art inside. The performance was excellent if you like classical music. Recommended for Vienna first timers
This concert at the Minorite Church was absolutely magical. The Gothic architecture and incredible acoustics created a powerful, reverent atmosphere that elevated every note. I was deeply moved by the prodigy and by the exceptional string performers, whose precision and emotion filled the space beautifully. A truly unforgettable and moving musical experience.
The ensemble performance is perfect and the violin virtuoso is absolutely stellar! The Minorite Church is stunning and the acoustics are great. It truly captures the beauty & essence of Viennese music & architecture
Great concert. Someone from the staff should have informed the audience “NO CELL PHONES DURING PERFORMANCE “. It was a major distraction from a wonderful concert.
What an absolutely beautiful concert! The lead violinist, wow, amazing...The only downside was the very uncomfortable pews. Our backs were hurting afterwards. I'd still recommend the concert overall.
I paid an extra amount for seats in a particular “category”, but we were seated in a less desirable area with no option to move. I don’t think anyone in charge is able to actually manage the seating areas. They seat people and then people move closer to where they want to. We arrived 15 minutes early, but there were no seats left in the category I paid for. We were put in the last row on the side of the church with the performers’ backs to us. We did not see one face the entire performance and although the overall acoustics in the church were good, the sound was weak and muffled as it was directed away from us. I would have accepted it if I hadn’t paid extra for better seating. No reimbursement or adjustment was offered.
Really easy to find the location, very quiet and polite staff. Concert was incredible and exactly as advertised, beautiful venue. Price is very modest for what you get. Would recommend to anyone trying to satisfy that classical Vienna concert experience.
A well-deserved 5.0 experience at the Minorite Church. Having seen four concerts in five days in Vienna, I can say that this final performance was the highlight of my trip. The 5.0 rating is absolutely justified. It stands two levels above other performances with 4.6 or 4.7 ratings. The venue itself is simple and dignified, providing a perfect atmosphere. Every musician played with such genuine passion and dedication, delivering a performance that was nothing short of breathtaking.
We thoroughly enjoyed this concert! The violinists were very talented and enthusiastic about their music.
The settings were incredibly beautiful. The musicians were incredibly talented and entertaining. We were surprised by the appearance of 3 tenors who added immense enthusiasm and entertainment to the concert. A magical, beautiful event in a lovely setting.
enjoyable n wonderful experience at a cathedral, went with my teenager kids, they enjoyed the singing, violin playing n the cathedral vibes.
Amazingly talented musicians, great accoustics in a gorgeous church. Beautiful! The Mozart was the highlight
It’s charming and unique. The atmosphere created by church’s acoustics elates the experience. 100% recommended
The seats provided us no view of the performance but the sound was great. Suggest you review seating details.
Excellent orchestra!! Loved every minute of it! Highly recommend this concert to anyone who genuinely loves music.
Fantastic concert in a beautiful setting with good acoustics. The quintet and violin soloist, Cornelia Gradwohl, were excellent. This was one of the highlights of my trip to Vienna.
A quartet comprising three strings and a flautist gave a wonderful concert of around an hour’s duration. Two solos by the flautist of Debussy and Marais pieces and the quartet performed Mozart works. All very enjoyable in the marvellous spiritual surrounds of the remarkable church.
Fantastic location, service, and best musical program. One event where locals and guests can enjoy together. Very recommended
Watched a string quartet from the Vienna Philharmonic in a beautiful setting of the Minoritenkirche (church). The sound was amazing, up close and personal. The church was in the heart of central Vienna and is easily walkable from the shopping district. You can spend a lot more on different concerts and locations but we were equally impressed with our evening choice and would highly recommend.
The venue,.i.e Minorite Church is, on its own a great plan as a visit. As a Venue for a concert it is perfect, the Acoustics are great. The staff are very professional welcoming and helpful, plus I was upgraded for category free of charge as there was some places left in a higher category. And the music/ Orchestra itself was Incredible . Easily the best experience I had concerts-wise.
The acoustics of this cathedral take a beautiful chamber orchestra to a new level of perfection. The staff were kind and helpful, even upgrading our seats! There are other more expensive concerts and venues in Vienna - don’t waste your funds! Enjoy this concert as a truly perfect evening in the city of music.
The church is incredible – easy to find and very central. As someone who attends concerts regularly, I can honestly say that the musicians are among the best baroque orchestra I’ve ever heard. Thank you for this truly wonderful evening!
Unforgettable concert at the Minoritenkirche – Best Vivaldi Music I’ve Ever Heard The Minoritenkirche is truly a stunning venue, and its concerts are always exceptional. The programs are carefully selected, and as a resident of Vienna, I can say without hesitation that they never disappoint.
