Difficult to navigate the redemption place address, no available washroom inside the building but overall the concert was great.
Beautiful venue, the church was gorgeous. The concert was well organized and very enjoyable. A very professional group. Highly recommend this concert!
I booked Category 2, got there about maybe 20 minutes early and a lot of spots were filled. I was able to get a good spot on the center aisle end of a pew, but it was a long way back from the stage. However I had a good view of the soloist, which was great. Category 3 seems like you would have zero view of the stage, at least in spots. The music was lovely, some cool Baroque ornamentation and flourishes, very authentic. The place was packed. Highly recommend!
Beautiful setting for beautiful music! So easy to book and collect tickets too. First time booking through Viator, will definitely use again
The Karlskirche is gorgeous!! The music sounded so lovely. The musicians were excellent and put on a show.
I really loved it. The whole experience was really beautiful. We really liked the place and the staff were really nice. Especially the girl at the ticket office Kori was nice and she helped us.
Great concert, good company, excellent help from Kori.
It was a really nice experience. The staff was really nice and helpful (especially the girl with brown short hair at the entrance). We heard and saw the concert perfectly.
A stunning large baroque church with a wonderful Vivaldi performance. I’ll never listen to the Four Seasons in hire the same way again.
We had an amazing experience from beginning to end. The concert was absolutely beautiful, with outstanding musical performances and a wonderful atmosphere. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, making everything even more enjoyable. A special thank you to Nicole for their kindness and excellent service.
We loved the music concert in the St Charles Church. What an amazing building and fantastic musicians. A must do if you are in Vienna.
It was wonderful! The musicians were truly remarkable. The beauty and awe of Saint Charles Cathedral really added to feeling the concert.
St.Charlesa Cathedral was a stunning venue. The concert was amazing. We had category 3 tickets and sat against the left side of the cathedral in chairs in the floor, the pew seating was higher up and better I'm sure but we were satisfied with our view. We arrived 45 minutes early and the line was already very long to get in. I recommend arriving maybe an hour early for the best seating options.
The group and the soloist played well enough but it was weird that they had to tune after each piece and I’m not certain they got in tune. Also, they played Spring and Summer, then played other pieces in the middle which was confusing, then finished with Fall and Winter. The church seating and acoustics were what I expected - not great but could’ve been worse. If you want a casual concert to finish your night, this is ok. Otherwise, try to plan ahead and get tickets to a performance at the Musikverein across the street.
Beautiful backdrop for classical music. Only issue was things dropping during concert by audience. Need to prevent that.
Great performance in a fantastic and atmospheric church. The music was absolutely superb.
We had an amazing experience in a spectacular opulent church, which itself alone was marvellous. We were then treated to a fabulous performance of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. I would highly recommend it.
Great opportunity to immerse yourself in Vivaldis music. Incredible presentation. The venue was absolutely beautiful.
Just wow! Beautiful venue and incredible show with very talented musicians. If you do not pay for an exact seat number just know the first come first serve people started lining up outside the venue 1 hr before showtime.
This was a lovely finish to a great day in Vienna. The church is breathtaking. The concert lasted about 75 minutes and started right on time. We purchased category 2 seats & were seated in the last row of the pews. This meant we could see the stage. There were folding chairs behind us (category 3?) and they probably couldn’t see the musicians. The musicians were very talented and enjoyed the event!
Luckily we got the FRONT ROW tickets....right in front of the dais and dead centre. Awesome spot! Just over 1 hr long, and only an ensemble of 9 musicians.
Bring seat cushions! And make sure to use the facilities BEFORE you attend because they have NO bathroom facilities (what does the congregation do?). The cathedral itself is gorgeous but was not a comfortable venue. The music was excellent and the lead violinist and head of the group was very talented and entertaining. Great experience for lovers of Vivaldi.
The concert was amazing. The whole string ensemble were very good. They definitely deserved d justice to Vivaldis music.
This was one of my favorite experiences in Vienna. The Charles Church is gorgeous and the Vivaldi violin Concert in the church was exquisite
Stunning beautiful venue and gorgeous performance. A truly memorable experience
Fabulous setting very impressive, the lead Violinist was incredibly skilled and gave a tremendous performance, the ushers were very polite and helpful
Vivaldi Four Seasons concert in beautiful church setting and incredible musicians from Orchestra 1756 made it truly magical experience
Worst concert I’ve ever attended. I’ve never heard Vivaldi butchered this badly. Even the lead violinist missed notes, and the ensemble was neither in harmony nor in tune. It felt like a tourist trap. A complete waste of money and time.
Excellent atmosphere and concert! Highly recommend.
Candlelight concerts are wonderful, especially Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. If you love classical music, performed by highly talented musicians in a stunningly beautiful venue then this is the concert for you!
If you like classical music, this is a must. Such a beautiful church to see an inspired Vivaldi's 4 seasons.
I have seen four different Vivaldi concerts at different venues and at different times, and this was by far my favorite. It was absolutely unforgettable. My sister and I couldn’t stop talking about the performance afterward. The main violinist was incredible—so talented, passionate, and full of energy. You could really feel how much he loved the music, and I couldn’t take my eyes off him while he was playing. His performance made the whole concert come alive. We loved it so much that we actually tried to get tickets to see it again the very next day, but unfortunately it was completely sold out! If you have the chance to see this concert, don’t miss it. It was one of the highlights of our trip and truly the best Vivaldi performance I have ever experienced.
This is a must do experience. Try to sit in the front for the best view of the performance. The venue is stunning and worth visiting.
Lovely helpful staff in kirsche Amazing music and setting
Beautiful place and wonderful performance! Tickets were easy to get location was easy to find churches awesome inside and all of the performers were definitely involved.
The concert was absolutely amazing. I would definitely attend again and would highly recommend it to all my friends and family. Thank you, Nicole, for your kindness, and thanks to the entire team for being so attentive and friendly.
Musicians were excellent. Music selection was good but I would have liked more diversity. Church was warm and seats were uncomfortable. My husband would have preferred a chair
The church is beautiful. The main violinist male was Excellent as he knew the whole program by heart without sheet music. If you like opera, and 8 stringed instruments for 75-90 minutes then this is for you. Otherwise, I would do another activity as it gets repetitive. Additionally, we bought class 3 seating which is balcony or side wings or very back of the church. The church is not tiered so you will not be able to see the front from the back or the sides. We sat in the balcony but basically all seating is extremely uncomfortable so you should be aware of that as well. The musicians were obviously very talented. But I’m just sharing the details.
From the history of the church to thrilling performance, it was a gorgeous evening of rich Viennese Classical music.
What an amazing experience! To listen to Vivaldi in a beautiful church was incredible! The orchestra was amazing! Highly recommend for music lovers!
First of all the setting at the beautiful church was awesome. The musicians were spot on. The lead violinist was was energetic and so into the music ihis vibes spread throughout the church.
It was such an amazing experience. The concert was spectacular as much as the incredible venue filled with beautiful energy Everything made an unforgettable evening. Thank you for calling a taxi for me
Memorable experience of Vivaldi in a spectacular venue. Photos and videos were not allowed during the performance, but some pictures were allowed before and after.
Impressive concert in a stunning venue
Come early. Check-in to get your tickets and get in line. You will be seated by an usher. You will recognize the music from movies. Soloist is very talented and plays with great feeling.
Central seats would be the better option to view and appreciate the cohesiveness of the musicians. The violin soloist was exceptional!! The other members very talented and worked very well as a group. Bravo! Would definitely highly recommend!
Wow! Absolutely beautiful setting. 1756 string orchestra with a harpsichord and solo violinist was superb.
Beautiful music by talented people. The cathedral was exquisite. We went with our son and daughter in law. We all enjoyed the experience.
Excellent classical concert in the beautiful Karlskirche! Exceptional musicians! Lead violinist never looked at a piece of music during entire performance!
