It is a neat, novel way to see the city, more of an introduction with no time to be ‘mindful’ of where you are and the story that is being told. The only caveat is that you will be traveling on cobble stone streets which does make it tough to hear what the guide is saying. Also, on the main streets the vehicle is allowed to travel 10 KPH which can be scary when you have a tram on one side and coach on the other.

Karl was an incredible host and guide. The ride was extremely comfortable and paced perfectly. Karl's knowledge of Vienna's history and present was superb, and he delivered it in an entertaining way to keep it light and fun.
Great 90 minute tour of Vienna with a knowledgeable driver who was a historian! We highly recommend!
Our driver was great! Very funny and knowledgeable! He made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed!
Great experience,Karl was amazing, very funny and knowledgeable ,we learned loads about Vienna. Well worth doing.
Really enjoyed our car ride - we went for the champagne experience which was really nice (although not sure it was champagne 😂 nice all the same) Our guide was very informative and funny 🤣 English was very good and we complemented him on it. Blankets supplied if required. Lots of stops along the way and info on things you wouldn’t see on your own. We loved it and would highly recommend for your visit to Vienna 🤩
We had an incredible experience with our electric carriage ride in Vienna! The guides were so enthusiastic and truly made the tour fun and memorable. It was such a great way to see the city—relaxed, beautiful, and unique. They were also very flexible and easy to work with from start to finish. Highly recommend!
This trip was ok. We booked the 90 mins and the guide was very pleasant. Would be lovely for a sunny day !
Relaxed and fun way to see the city. Karl was a knowledgeable host. The car was clean, the blankets heavy and warm and the champagne, cold.
We had Anthony, also known as Tony as our guide. He was above and beyond amazing. Incredibly professional, pleasant, welcoming, and informative. I was celebrating my birthday and he even played special music to celebrate me….He was incredible. Thank you for having him as a member of your team. It was a birthday I will never forget :)
It was perfect for a rainy afternoon- saw major highlights as well as learnt a bunch about the history of Vienna. Angelo was wonderful and personable! Will hire him again for sure.
The Hofburg palace and Sisi museum. The cars close to gates. The driver was friendly and polite. The car was red with red leather. It was spacious and comfortable. I think it was electric or ran on organic diesel because I didn't see any smoke coming out of it. Although the weather was hot at the time of the tour, we enjoyed the cool, refreshing air in the cabriolet.me and daughter Enjoy in this tour , we love cars. I Highly recommend this tour. we take it 9. August.2025.
Great tour, highly recommend. Was a great introduction to the city AND the ride itself was enjoyable in its own.
Our guide had a very strong accent and it was hard to understand. He pointed out the buildings but gave very little explanation. There were 2 stops for 10 minutes. I would prefer a longer tour with more information. There is too much to cover in a 90 minute tour. I made the mistake of choosing this tour.
This was a key highlight of our trip. Loved every bit and the sparkling wine added a nice touch to the overall experience.
Avoid - audio description disjointed and not very informative - adult English not working at all - advertises free wifi but none available
Without a doubt, the best 90 minutes we’ve had on a 3-week trip knocking around Europe. Angelo was an excellent guide with great knowledge of the city and a super sense of humor. This beats being drawn around in a horse-drawn carriage any day.
Best way to see the old town Vienna great tour, guide, great driver, beautiful electric car. So much fun to ride around the city and learn about unique history of vienna
I wish I could remember our guide’s name, but he was amazing! Highly recommend this. We saw so much and learned where everything was. Our guide showed us this Italian restaurant and said it is one of the best, so we took note and went back the next day and confirmed that it really is that good. I personally feel this tour should be taken at the beginning of the trip, because it gives you an idea of where everything is, allowing you to better plan your itinerary. Besides learning about the Italian restaurant, he showed us where the best and largest Christmas market in the city was… we visited it the night before our departure, and he was right again. We did the 90 minute tour, and it was enough time.
Great fun was had by us all with Manuel, informative tour of a beautiful city. We were well looked after with lovely fizz and nice blankets to keep us warm. We loved it and thank Manuel for his humour and attention.
This was so fun! A great way to see the city and learn the history. Karl, our driver was great and very knowledgeable.
I can not tell the name of my driver but but I have a strong memory of all the stories he told and the jokes he made. It was an unforgettable experience, I recommend it strongly to discover Vienna, I wish it would last a full day.
The experience was terrible. The guide didn’t speak a word. Just pointed the monuments and told their names. No history. At the end of the “tour” the guide yelled in the middle of the street asking for the tip that we gave. Never do this trip again. Expensive, rude guides, doesn’t worth it
This tour saved our day as it was a terrible storm with relentless rain. We had a covered car ride with plastic covers on the side and back of the open sided car. It was nice to have blankets as well as the sparkling wine which was a nice touch for a bit of relaxing while taking in the sights. A quick and informative way to see the best of the city and surrounding areas that we would have never seen on foot in one days time. Our tour guide was great. Funny and personable and loved his New York accent even though he is a native of Austria and returned after living in the NY for a bit.
Best way to see Vienna Such a wonderful driver/guide He was adorable I was parched and he bought still water for me and refused any payment for it
Saw great parts of the city. Driver was wonderful and very careful . Driver was very knowledgeable and information was great
This tour was NOT AT ALL what they picture here. We expected a Vintage electric car and uniformed driver that would drive us around and give us an informative tour while we drank champagne- a whole Fun vintage vibe. Nope. They have NO right to sell this tour with these pictures. It’s false advertising. We got a tricked out golf cart and a dude. He was a nice dude from NY. He did buy us sparking wine tho- but asked if we wanted it and had to stop to get it. Then he drove us around and told us the name of some places. No real deeper info than the name, no history really about the city. The fact our driver was nice is the only good thing about this.
A lovely tour around Vienna in an Electric vehicle that was able to go down the little side streets as well as the main ones. Guide was very good and clearly loved Vienna and was knowledgeable & friendly. Would recommend.
I chose this because I have my elderly parents with us and wanted them to be able to see Vienna without walking miles. This turned out to be driving past sights without even pausing to see it, a photo, or limited info on what it was. Many of the sights, we didn't even drive to the front, we saw the sight between buildings, and it felt like a half-assed experience. We also got to stop in a back alley to “explore” for 15 minutes when there was nothing around, aka “smoke-break” time. Once we came back after the 15 of standing around, he wouldn't let us back on the car. He told her it is a “hired” car and I told him we were his guests. After he realized who we were, you could tell he felt bad that he didn't know we were his paying guests. We saw Vienna, but it wasn't pleasant. I felt like I was tossed around in a golf cart with no view until we asked the top to be pulled back. He begrudgingly opened it for us. I would take the horse and carriage over this. It at least moves slower so you have time to look around.
Great tour... The driver was very well spoken... It was easy to understand him. We drove by sooo many iconic places in Vienna... Made you realize how much is there to explore.
This is a highly recommended activity if with a group of 4-5 as this tour covers the primary landmarks of the city with ease, a beautiful vintage car and a guide. Ideal for elderly tourist and small children. Definitely worth the price. A special thanks to our tour guide Lubo.
Manuel was great and let us know what we “needed to see”. Great relaxing way to see the city as first timers.
Our driver and host Karl was absolutely wonderful. He shared so much history, he was fun, engaging and spoke perfect English. Just the best way to see the city!
We had a great tour and overview of beautiful Vienna! Our guide was wonderful and helped direct us to more sights after the tour was over. We did the 40 min and wished we had chosen a longer tour!
This was a once in a lifetime experience! We had an amazing time with our driver, Amen. He knew the city extremely well and was able to answer all of our questions. He was also very kind and entertaining! He took a bunch of photos of my husband and I, and kept us warm with blankets!
Our driver was very cheerful and friendly - drove us around the city talking, explaining and pointing things out - very knowledgable and a fun and relaxed introduction on our arrival to the city
Carl was an amazing guide. Very informative. A great way to see the city especially with kids. Highly recommend.
The was an incredible tour. Fun and interesting. That car was a great talking point. People kept taking photos of the car as we went by. Karl was very knowledgeable but not boring. Karl looked after us, he showed us things we would have missed if we’d not done this tour. Yes yes a little pricey but you pay for the car so you car have 4or 5 people. We just went as a couple. Our own private tour for 90 minutes. Excellent
A superb way to see the city, warm car, very friendly driver/guide in Lubor. Knowledgeable, polite and helpful. Highly recommended.
Karl, our driver, was friendly, fun and very interesting. On a snowy day the blankets were very much needed. We learned alot about Vienna. Would highly recommend.
What a great way to see Vienna! Amen, our driver, was knowledgeable and interesting. He showed us the sights without being wonky. His English was great, and he even got our stupid jokes about all museums being closed. He also kept us warm and hydrated! Plus he was virtually a one-person United Nations! He kindly helped out a person who was homeless, then cleaned a dead pigeon off the road. We highly recommend this as a first stop in Vienna…or a last one.
Martin gave us a pleasurable experience in this vintage car converted to an electric vehicle. Very informative and insightful.. 10 out of 10!
Martin was amazing! He knew so much and was able to answer all our questions. He took us where we wanted to see and great spots we didn't even know about. Thank you!
Very enjoyable and gained a great insight into Vienna. We were 2 couples and only just arrived. This was a perfect introduction to start of our stay, with champagne Our driver was friendly and knowledgeable..well recommended tour
This tour was ok. It was essentially a golf cart made up to look like a vintage car (but it was not a vintage car). Much of the information was around was century various buildings and statues were from. We’ve found that the fun of a local tour guide is learning the stories behind the stories, but that wasn’t really the case with this tour. It was more run of the mill information. It was a nice overview of central Vienna though. The drive was VERY slow. Our driver was nice.
Great trip around Vienna, our guide was brilliant and so informative , his knowledge of all the sights was great
This is a unique, beautiful and fun way to tour Vienna! Amen was our chauffeur for our 90 minute tour and he was incredibly attentive, popping the sparkling wine, showing us the city, and suggesting / taking wonderful photographs. We couldn’t believe the places the little electric vintage car could go. Vienna is stunning and the slow pace of the vehicle was perfect. We highly recommend as the first thing to do upon arrival in Vienna.
Thoroughly enjoyed by us all. We went in December so the car had a cover over it so it was suitable for driving around in the cold weather. Hot or cold drinks available -Prosecco or Mulled Wine. The driver was very friendly and pointed out so many places. It was nice to sit back and see so much which you may miss whilst on foot plus we did this on day one of our visit which helped us to get our bearings.
Fantastic tour around Vienna. Would definitely recommend doing this trip. We were only in Vienna for the day so a great way to see all the main sights.
Brilliant experience seeing the sights of Vienna. Blankets and sparkling warm kept us warm on a cold December day! The tour was really informative.
