Guide didn’t show up and didn’t even bother to let us know. We stood in the freezing cold and they don’t even have the curtesy to answer one text or call to see what was going on.

Just one of a kind experience in cold with decor, food, drinks, crafts and many more amazing things along with European crowd.
We really enjoyed our tour. Our guide, Chloe, was friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed tasting local treats and seeing a variety of markets and stalls.
Very cold outdoor experience with no stops along the way with any type of out door heaters. That would have been nice to break up the tour. The limited drinks and food tastings were a nice little touch. You really can get the same experience without a guide. Guide was very nice but a novice.
There is quite a bit of walking and the markets are very crowded. The food/drinks tastings are amazing. Guide very knowledgeable and friendly. The final market, however, he just dropped us off at the entrance and then said good-bye. Was expecting a final tour or tasting given the price. Outside of that, highly recommend!
Great informative tour. Learned many interesting things about Vienna and tasted some really good food!
Wonderful. We hit 3 Christmas markets with lots of authentic food. Our guide Andres was knowledgeable fun and engaging.
The tour guide Andres was nice enough and gave some interesting facts but there was only one Christmas market we really saw other than the big City Hall we were left to view on our own. If not for the couple food samples and gluwein, I would have been very disappointed paying even our discounted price. Absolutely not worth 100 euros each for this minimal tour.
Guide Andres was very nice but really saw one larger market and the two others were tiny with a handful of food vendors - if you want to see markets may want to skip this one
Loved it! The guide, Kamil, was fantastic, as was the information he gave us throughout the tour. Food samples were excellent. A magical place at a special time of year!
Our tour guide never showed up. We arrived 15 min early at the meeting place and stood in the cold for more than 20 min. The first Christmas market in the list was at the meeting place and was a joke - a tree and two booths selling hot wine. And we heard from a walking tour we took earlier that day that the last market didn’t exist this year. A disaster all around. Fortunately our money was refunded.
Lovely tour through some of Vienna's best Christmas markets. Our guides were very helpful and friendly and it was great to try some of the food and drinks of the market in the company of other travelers!
This was great tour. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a more intimate tour rather than a big group . We would do it again next time we are here.
We toured Christmas markets that we normally wouldn’t see. We loved the food tasting. Now that we have been to several we wish we would have asked more questions about what the foods were.
We enjoyed seeing many markets in Vienna on a 2-day stop. We drank local hot wine and had several snacks. The tour only provided us with a short introduction to the markets and we came back to see several the next day.
Such a disappointment. We took a taxi to the meeting place. He was stopped by the police. The number to contact was wrong so we called our travel agent. She contacted Viator but was put on hold. We ran 8 minutes late. We understand that the guide left without us. What we DONOT understand was Viator could not reach the guide. We would have walked to catch up with them. But no! We lost our money because the guide was unreachable. Being late by 8 minutes was the fault of our driver. But we should have been given a way to catch up with them since this was a walking tour. Unacceptable! We should we refunded. We have spent a lot of money on this trip with Viator. You should make this right.
So, this is more of a food tour than a market tour. I actually love food tours, so that was good, but I wasn’t expecting it. It started a bit poorly - we were at meeting point (along with 2 others) but the tour guide wasn’t there. We had to search to find her. We looked for over 15 min as did the other two people (who were not together). We sent messages too that went unanswered. When we finally found her,she seemed unfazed that she wasn’t in a visible place and we had been searching/waiting . There was not a visible yellow umbrella as described. Rita turned out to be very sweet and informative, but we really wanted time in the markets, and we really didn’t get that at all. I think this tour just needs to reflect what it is. In addition, it was way too long - over 3.5 hours
Don’t go! We were in front of the church for 40 minutes with icy cold and rain on time. And nobody came. They didn’t cherche us or leave a message and list. This has cost me 158€ I’m waiting for a full refund. Shame on theme
Fun tour with Germana. Visited a few markets and tried the traditional foods sold at Christmas markets. Learned some history of some of the particular food origins and the districts where the markets are. Germana is a knowledgeable guide who made the tour fun and interesting. I would recommend The tour description says + the mulled wine unique mug but they were advertised for sale during the trip, so that’s a bit confusing in the description. Side note. Overall experience 10/10
We had a great time on this tour! Our English speaking guide Rita was fantastic. We loved the unique Christmas markets and the food on this tour. I would highly recommend this tour if your visiting Vienna as I don’t think we would have found these on our own!
Christina was pleasant, but didn’t really go above and beyond to ensure everybody had a good time. There was an elderly couple, who couldn’t keep up with her, and she never really slowed down to accommodate them.. It felt like she was happy when the tour was over. The food on the tour was quite good though.
Wasn't a Christmas Market tour. Talked about Austria history more than Christmas Market history. Wasted lots of time waiting on food. Didn't realize it was a food tour. A waste of my time. I would have rather just walked the markets on my own. The meeting point was inconvenient. Uber couldn't get me to it. Basically caused me miss enjoying the markets.
Rita was a wonderful guide! She showed us around the markets and provided interesting and informative stories about the places we visited. Trust her recommendations about food and beverages. This was a great way to see a few markets, sample some delicious snacks and drinks, and spend a few hours in this beautiful city.
Roderick was a great and enthusiastic guide. We enjoyed the opportunity to see some markets we probably wouldn't have found ourselves and loved trying all the food and wine.
A special tour, less known in smaller and more atypical Christmas markets, less known by tourists. Michael, the guide presented interesting information and the serving of traditional products was excellent. I recommend 100%.
This was a very cool and unique tour! This is the tour to see Christmas markets that you might not stumble upon on your own. Come hungry!
We had a great time with our guide seeing the markets and trying the local food and drinks ! I would highly recommend this excursion !
Many people come in Vienna to visit the Christmas Markets, which are wonderful. So, we so some markets at : City Hall (probably the greatest from all), Hofburg, Stephansplaz, near Palais Schonbron (Altwiener Christkindlmarkt), KarlsKirche, or Schonbrunn. Every were is a very beauty atmosphere, with season items, and - of course- boiled red wine (gluckwein).
Not one but four markets, The food, the people and the merchandise were great. All the Christmas decorations were beautiful at nigh.
Good mixture of local food and drinks at the Christmas markets however our guide said that we were one of her first English tours so the information was limited.
Great experience. A must if you’re in Vienna at holiday. Plenty of snacks and drinks…a great way to sample some of the local cuisine.
Very fun tour! Several stops, some free goodies included in the price, very informative and personable tour guide. Had a lot of fun!
Great fun. We would have missed out on so much if we hadn’t taken the tour. Christopher was knowledgeable, fun and made sure we were full of food and drink by the end.
What a wonderful way to visit a few of the Christmas Markets with a local guide. We were able to see some of the markets that were more intimate with organic food and drinks from local merchants. Also were given information about the city’s history and current day-to-day practices. A great way to start our vacation!
Enjoyed our walking tour. Nice to taste local food and cider and warm drinks and visit a few of the more local legit markets. My travel friend was saying we weren’t going to the big markets and second guessing me. Did I prove her wrong. These were the “right” markets to go to to get the legit feel rather than over commercialized experience. Loved our guide.
Fantastic fun! Our guide was so fun, talkative, and knowledgeable. The markets were beautiful and the smell of the hot wine was as lovely as it tasted.
Such a lovely tour, wandering around the Christmas markets and trying out a range of sweet and savoury treats alongside schnapps and hot wines! Our guide Clement had lots of interesting Viennese fun facts to share. Would really recommend.
Filip was a fantastic guide; friendly, informative and had some lovely local stories to tell which totally enhanced the tour. We visited several markets which we would never have found ourselves - all different with great atmosphere. We just loved the whole evening - so thanks!
We just done a walking christmas market tour last night and it was fab. I really enjoyed this tour and our tour guide was brilliant very informative and enjoyed his job. I really enjoyed the fact that we got to taste a range of traditional Viennese food at the markets. I like this as we found out what the food was, the history behind it and we got the chance to taste it before buying it ourselves, as I know myself if I Didnt know what something was if prob be afraid to buy it incase I didnt like it. This tour gave you the chance to taste a range of food included within the tour price which I though was fantastic. We got to explore the more unique and smaller markets and learn a bit about their history and christmas traditions.
Our guide, Tony was very nice and did a good job getting our group from market to market. However, this was more of a tasting tour than a Christmas market tour which is not how it was described when I booked on Get Your Guide. You tasted a small bit of different items at each market but really did not have time to look around at the markets. There was rum punch served as well as a shot at the end of the tour so not a good tour for those who are not drinkers.
Our guide Aldo was great- he took us to a few of the smaller markets in the Museum Quarter and nearby areas and all had something different to offer. A really nice change from the crowded Rathaus market and we actually returned to all of them over the next few days - would highly recommend!
Winter in Vienna was something amazing. I liked all the small Christmas markets in Vienna. Also, I think you can enjoy Vienna way better when you are walking around. I could see small details of the city like cozy shops and cafes.
Bright lights, Christmas music, yummy treats with hot chocolate warm wine!! Fantastic atmosphere with friendly vendors and visitors.

This was a really nice tour, lots of information on how people spend their social time and where the xmas markets are and what they’re like, and a little history thrown in the mix.
Personally I wouldn’t include the Museum Quarter another time but Manuel was a lovely guide.

A magical experience!! I highly recommend it!!! Not only were we at the most emblematic markets in Vienna, but we tasted local cuisine!! During the tour between the markets, Oscar, our guide, told us curious/historical things about Vienna. Besides, Oscar, I had several surprises prepared, it makes you wrap up in the Christmas spirit if or if!!! Oscar was great!! Super attentive, friendly and friendly. I would repeat without hesitation!!!
My second visit to this Christmas market, which I consider to be among the best I know. I don't know if, as a result of the Covis pandemic, I found the market more modest, without as many activities as in 2014. But it's unmissable.
Various markets throughout the city. Impressive that with the cold that was, the fact of being muted people around there to talk to the cold and to drink hot wine Incredible. Barracks with items for sale to make dream...Lindos
It was the Nata markets that took me to Vienna now in November. A great disappointment. I visited several. Whoever sees one ends up seeing them all, in terms of the banks and what is sold. Taking one or another place of sale, it's all the same, the same brands, basically the same stores in different locations. That is, you see a different Mood but the content is basically the same. We've been to Rathaus; Belvedere; Stephenplatz; Marie Therese Platz; Karlplatz; Spitterberd; Schöbrunn (this is probably the most different one). Christmas specific items, are not so many, besides decorative balls; other pendants; some little figures. I was thinking of buying specific candy no; shirts, shorts, barrets with Christmas motifs - no. Music Christmas Mood - no. That is, what is in the markets, taking two or three places of sale is as Christmas as if it was there in April or September. I emphasize that this rating is from the markets; not from the city which is magnificent but it would be regardless of the markets which, in my opinion, are not of Christmas.
The most beautiful Christmas market I've ever seen, wonderful city, everything very beautiful and perfect, I want to come back 😍
