Really lovely wholesome experience. Really good concert made up of a trumpet player and an organist. Chairs a little bit uncomfortable.

Absolutely beautiful venue, very atmospheric, host and musicians superb. Greatly appreciated the commentary being in both German and English. Lovely choice of music especially the medley of Christmas tunes to finish. Thankyou uplifting!
Beautiful venue to listen to 2 talented musicians a pianist and trumpeter. Enjoyed the festive Christmas music!
The church with its incredible baroque work is enchanting; took us by surprise as on the it’s outside is quite unassuming. I’m glad I discovered the church through this concert. The concert itself was underwhelming because the organ is set at loft and for most part music was played there rather than infront of the audience at the altar. We were expecting to watch a performance however we were only able to look around the incredible church, take its beauty in and listen to the music as it was being played. I must add the acoustics is great though but expected more to be seen…
Beautiful church hidden in the centre of Vienna. Music is played alternately from the rear and front alter
To be fair, we arrived a little late so we may have missed an introduction. The music quality was terrific but we chose this concert expecting more Christmas music such as Silent Night, Away in the Manger, Joy to the World, etc. The fact that we were in Austria and did not hear Silent Night was disappointing.
Stellar performance in a beautiful venue. The acoustics in the church were phenomenal! It was a lovely evening and it definitely was worth the time.
this was a beautiful concert in the heart of the city we enjoyed it very much. the music was welcoming, and the program was done in German and English.
Underwhelming. Was expecting to watch the musicians as they played but instead they played upstairs behind the audience for most of the concert. A short 10 minute Christmas medley was the nod to Christmas at the very end.
Fantastic concert from two very talented musicians-wide range of music from classical to Christmas carols and all in an iconic setting with great acoustics Narrator spoke in both English and German and managed to incorporate some humour into his speech
We attended this evening and were moved by the experience. What a beautiful evening! Highly recommended.
Wonderful concert featuring classical music in this beautiful chapel , featuring solo trumpet and keyboard, chapel organ and duet of trumpet with keys. Virtuoso performance 😀
Great music, beautiful church. Only issue is no restrooms and no signs indicating this. Organ and trumpet playing were excellent plus there was the occasional narration.
Ensure your taxi driver knows exactly where to go. Concert was magical. Loved every moment. Very well attended.
A celestial concert. The soprano was amazing, and the musicians no less. The simplicity of the church added to the spirituality of the event, and the medley of carols closed the concert on a high note. Well done to all involved, highly recommended!
The beautiful surroundings complemented the music perfectly. What better way to hear some well payed classical music, than in a stunning and historical environment.
Beautiful music in an amazing venue. It was a little crowded but we visited on a Sunday evening. The music was inspiring
This was Christmas magic wrapped up in a beautiful setting. The music was fantastic and St Anne’s church was stunning. I could have sat in there all evening.
I am a little disappointed in what I experienced. Instead of a Christmas Concert which I was sure would be Carol singing and entertainment, what we actually had was a solo trumpeter accompanied by an organist. There was no dialogue, no interaction between each piece of music and no idea what to expect. The church is stunning to look at but sitting there in silence for an hour was very disconcerting.
Just 2 people, one played a trumpet, the other an organ. Was very good. Set in an ornate heated church was lovely.
My wife and I attended the Magic Trumpet Christmas concert at Saint Anne's on December 11, 2022. The church itself is glorious on the inside. It is a beautiful setting, especially if you are attending a Christmas concert there. The acoustics for the concert were wonderful, but more importantly, the beautiful church added so much visually to the performance. The setting helped make the concert all the more wonderful. The trumpeter and the organist were in perfect harmony, and created such a smooth, beautiful sound together. The trumpeter's transitions were as smooth as silk. There were many beautiful numbers performed, some of which I did not know, but that did not detract from the performance in the slightest. They played some well-known Christmas favorites, as well. My wife and I had a wonderful time.
Excellent - great Trumpeter - quiet crowd - I thought a bit more clapping and appreciation was deserved
Christmas concert at Anne’s was a nice service. The only disappointment was that the musicians were nowhere to be seen , the alter was empty for the majority of the service . They only came out at the beginning and the end .
Very nice concert. Good mix of Christmas carols, classic pieces and popular songs. Also the moderator, ( speaker ) had nice comments and intelligent texts. Also the lenght with one hour was perfect. Summed up, it was a great performance which we can reccomend to any music lover !
Nice concert in an impressive ambience. Great musical quality. Well designed program. Appealing moderation.
Really beautiful church and nice program that was linked together by exciting introduction to Christmas time. We will be happy to come back if we are going to Vienna again.
The concert took place in the wonderful ambience of St. Anna Church and was a very successful mix of classical and modern Christmas songs, accompanied by entertaining stories fitting for the Christmas season.
It was a wonderful concert in a very beautiful setting. We didn't know the Annakirche and were surprised how beautiful this church is! Maybe next year again
Very pre-Christmas; excellent selection of music; great musicians!!! The acoustics in this church are fantastic and the church's furnishings are among the most perfect of the Baroque period!!!
Pure Christmas spirit. In the beautiful and heated St. Anna Church with trumpet and church organ, the wait for December 24th is shortened. Not only classic Christmas songs, but also modern ones (White Christmas, Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer, etc.). Definitely worth recommending.
Beautiful concert in a beautiful church. We had nice seats because we arrived half an hour earlier. Fortunately it was not very cold in the church. The program was great and we enjoyed it for over an hour
Prijs kwaliteit is prima
Very nice concert. Get in the Christmas spirit a bit. It was also nice that well-known songs were played
The two musicians were great and harmonized great, the lyrics in between fit very well with the program, I wish I could read them again. I have subscribed to K&K's newsletter and am looking forward to more concerts.
The selection of pieces and the stories told between the individual sections, together with the Mood in the church, really set me in the mood for the Advent season. Due to the excellent acoustics in the church, the virtuoso playing of the musicians was optimally supported. I especially like the fact that the church is heated.
We were at this concert for the first time. Very nice is the Mood of the church, the wonderful acoustics. Unfortunately, the concert is only one hour, which is a shame. There are certainly still pieces by well-known composers that would have been a good fit. Including the comments in German and English there is not enough time for the musical performance in my opinion.
A sonic experience in a wonderful Mood. Christmas atmosphere through short lectures, the acoustics in the church perfectly!.
Only the speaker could stand more in the middle so that the visitors in the back rows or other side can hear something. Music was beautiful and good sound, unfortunately you haven't heard about the story in the middle ranks.
The two musicians were great, they were beautiful songs to hear. Maybe it was a bit "empty" because most of the time there was music at the organ upstairs. You didn't know whether to clap or not. You also want to watch while making music.
It was a very nice concerto for organ and trumpet. The program included plenty of classical pieces by Mozart, Bach and Haydn, all of which were performed very neatly, but also well-known Christmas songs - so actually something for everyone, if you like the combination of organ and trumpet, which always exudes a certain festivity. In between there were always contemplative or enjoyable readings, which were presented in an excellent manner in both German and English. The only downer: the pews in St. Anna are really real penitent pews - uncomfortable and you can't stretch your legs because of the closed front pew - and you don't want to put your feet on the padded knee pew either. All in all a wonderful good concert hour, which was associated with a few pains due to "posture damage" - otherwise you would have liked to listen to the Muskk even longer.
