Dace was outstanding. She showed us everything (I think we lost one or two tired participants we covered so much) in and around the historic center. Lots of colourful stories and good mix of imperial history as well as history of local businesses and restaurants too. She answered the extra questions of interest very well. Could tell she has been guiding these tours for a while. We did a few tours and Dace was the most prepared of all our tour guides. She made use of WhatsApp to tell us exactly where to meet her and how to identify her. Many of the meeting places were very crowded and not all the guides used technology as well. In fact we had to contact the tour operator for the other two to find/identify our guide. Would highly recommend Dace. Thanks for a great few hours.

We had a fantastic tour of Vienna yesterday. Our guide’s knowledge of Austrian history, the imperial families and the city itself was exceptional. The stories and family connections brought the history to life and made it much easier to understand how everything fitted together. We came away with a much greater appreciation of Vienna and its fascinating past. A thoroughly enjoyable experience and a guide we would highly recommend to anyone visiting the city.
Great overview of the history and city of Vienna - perfect for first time visitors to get an orientation!
A great way to discover Vienna . Our guide Dace was lovely. She was extremely knowledgeable about her city, and very funny, a pleasure to have spent a couple of hours with her.
Very well conducted tour Dace is personable and humorous while delivering historical reviews Recommend highly while in Vienna
We really enjoyed this walking tour. It was the first activity we did when arriving in Vienna and it was a great way to get oriented to the city and start learning about the history. Our guide was very knowledgeable and kept it interesting with anecdotes about the various places and monuments we saw.
My Wife and I took this walking tour with Dace and we are glad we did. Dace is friendky, knowledgeable and took the time to answer every question in a clear precise manner. If you come to Vienna this is a must.
Dace was energetic, knowledgeable, and easy to understand (enlish). I would definitely recommend this tour.
It was a nice tour to walk around the city center of Vienna and visit key monuments. The audio was of good quality. Gisele was a good guide. She explained the history very well. However, the spots were central so there was a lot of crowd around. Sometimes it was difficult to find the guide and the group. There wasn’t sufficient time to take pictures at each monument. The coffee break at Demel was much appreciated. Overall it was a good way of exploring the old town in a very short time.
Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The meeting point instructions like could be more specific like for example “in front of a statue or landmark and the guide should send a message like he/she will be waving a flag or something attractive and easy to spot. Again, I had to make the international call to make sure she doesn’t leave us.
Tour guide was very knowledgeable, very friendly and really provided a holistic account of Austrian history and culture. Many places of interest visited. 21/2 hours with no break was a little too long. There were hardly any comfort breaks inserted. Occasionally, the accent of the guide lacked clarity to hear clearly so key words or ends of sentences trailed off.
Our guide was just ok. She did not explain the history of Vienna well, and she did not bring her stories to life.
Dave was a great guide and her humour, consideration for the group and knowledge made this a really enjoyable historical tour of the city. I’d highly recommend this experience for a visitor to Vienna with first time like us or revisiting.
Very interesting and informative walking tour, excellent pace and a small group. Dace, our tour leader, was excellent, local knowledge and a great sense of humour
Excellent history We walked for over two hours and saw many many interesting places Would highly recommend at the beginning of your stay
We really enjoyed this walking tour. Dace was a mine of fascinating information about Vienna’s history and some of the famous characters who had made Vienna their home over the centuries. Dace has a very pleasant tone so it felt we were having a conversation and not just a list of facts and figures. She was also very keen to answer any questions and proved to be a highly knowledgable guide. Can heartily recommend.
Great tour if you only have a short stay.
A pleasant tour, as advertised. The headset (one ear) was great, especially in the busy part of the city.
A very good tour. Our guide Dace was excellent. I would recommend this tour.
A wonderful day with Dace! The tour was well paced and Dace was informative and friendly. We enjoyed the beautiful sites and learning about the history of Vienna.
Our travel guide was wonderful! She was very knowledgeable about the area with many interesting stories beyond the basic history. Two and half hours flew by!
Dace was our tour guide who showed us a whole lot of sites and history of Vienna. She took us into different buildings and to parts you wouldn’t see if you did this on your own. Vienna is such a beautiful city rich in history. Dace was very informative and did it all with good humour. Recommended.
She is so on knowledgeable with ;ots of fun facts. I highly recommend her!

Our guide, Dace, is very knowledgeable on Vienna's history and culture. She's very personable, and has a quick wit. Dace made the tour very enjoyable and informational.
Comprehensive and informative walking tour - I highly recommend this tour to orient yourself to Vienna.
Fantastic day conducted at a great pace with a knowledgeable, fun and uplifting guide. Lots of interesting historic facts as well as some delightful surprise stories along the way.
Very informative tour with knowledgeable guide. Tour took place at a great pace and took in most of the popular must see sites with some great little surprises along the way.
This is the quintessential taster tour of Vienna. Dace is an oracle for all you need to know and any question you may have about the City. If it is your first time or if you are pressed for time then this is the one and only trip for you to take.
Our guide was very clear and confident in her delivery and made for a thoughtful and entertaining day.
Very knowledgeable guide who was interesting, very informative and kept a great pace for 2.5 hours. We really enjoyed it and found it to be a great overview of Vienna.
Our guide Gisele was very knowledgeable and entertaining! Excellent walking tour❤️ Best of Vienna : Historic Center Walking Tour was right choice for us.
This Vienna history tour was very interesting! Dace was an excellent tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and friendly and really made the experience worthwhile. Take this tour with Dace and you will be glad you did!!
Exceptional tour of Central Vienna. The guide was excellent and knowledgeable. We covered a lot of ground and all landmarks were appropriately described in context. It was very interesting and valuable to learn landmarks. I enjoyed it immensely and would recommend the tour and guide again for those wanting a great overview of Vienna.
Julia was very knowledgeable and personable. She was an expert in music and art and she welcomed questions. She also had great recommendations of sights to see and cafes to try. We enjoyed immensely.
The story telling by the guide gave a great historical perspective of the city tour along with seeing lot of the buildings from outside. Recommend as first thing to do
Excellent historical and funny overviews. A tough 2.5 hour walk for those older or with walking issues.
Dace was a wonderful guide with a lot of knowledge. She was very helpful. At some point this just became a walking tour and a lot to see and take in. If you missed some context earlier, its tough to relate. Towards the end, she was just leading us and talking. Could have been a bit longer so there are rest breaks. Not just loo breaks. Dace was good, my problem is with the structure of the afternoon.
Great walking tour of the historic old town in Vienna. Our tour guide Dece was the best. She knows her subject matter and brings history alive for the tour. I highly recommend this tour.
Excellent guide-knowledgeable and would highly recommend! Dace made our tour very enjoyable. She has a nice sense of humor which we all enjoyed.
Another fabulous and informative guide with a sense of humor. We saw a lot and for once it somewhat followed what was promised. Problem is you are not exploring inside so you need another day to go back. Too much to see in Vienna!
The guide was 15 minutes late but the tour ended on time, so the tour was shortened. The trip inside the traditional clothing shop was a waste of time, which could have been better spent inside the cathedral. While a good tour, it was a poor value in light of the cost.
Dace was wonderful and the tour was perfect. The length was the perfect amount of time and we learned so much without being bogged down. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone. We brought our 15 year old daughter who also enjoyed the tour. Dace was great!
We had a wonderful 2½-hour private walking tour of Vienna. Dace took us to all of the key highlights and was an absolute wealth of information, sharing so much about Vienna’s history, culture, and architecture along the way. She was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the tour both interesting and enjoyable. It was a fantastic way to experience the city, and we would highly recommend her!
Dace is a wealth of knowledge . We learned so much and saw interesting places that we would never have known about on our own. She uses a microphone and we all had personal ear pieces that made it easy to hear her. That was very helpful.. This tour was pricier than others but it was worth it.
Our guide was Amazing and great energy. A wealth of information in just a short time.
We loved the tour with Giselle. She gave us a very informative tour of the city. A great start to our 5 days in Vienna. A treat was stopping at the Demel for Kaiserschmarrn
Very friendly & knowledgeable guide. Good sense of humor. Good way to get a broad overview of the city.
Dace is an excellent tour guide. She is knowledgeable and brings the history and stories of Vienna to us. The tour is well paced and we saw a lot of historically significant places.
