This was such an amazing day! Maria was wonderful - a lot of history about Vienna. The food was absolutely wonderful and Maria introduced us to a wide variety of foods throughout the 5hr tour, taking us to several areas of Vienna we may not have seen otherwise, and places where tourists normally do not find. Highly recommend!

Amazing tour through the streets of Vienna. Traveled all over the city (it was a great introduction to their transit system) and ate incredible food everywhere. Tried so many different dishes and got a lot of excellent recommendations for future meals. Definitely a must do if you're in Viena!!

What an incredible tour! I love exploring cities through food, and this was undoubtedly one of the best tours I’ve ever been on. Our guide, Maria, was an absolute delight. She created such a warm and inviting atmosphere for our group. Despite being the only solo traveler among three couples, by the end of the tour, it felt like we had all been traveling together for weeks. Maria also took us around the entire city, allowing us to explore areas that tourists rarely discover. There was a ton of variety and we left very full. I promise that you will never forget the stop with Thomas. Maria’s genuine passion for Vienna was evident throughout the tour, which made it all the more special. Book now!

We toured with Maria. She was knowledgeable, friendly, well prepared and gave lots of good recommendations for us. It gave an excellent opportunity to visit places we wouldn’t have otherwise come across and to see the city while doing so. Our tour was 9:20am till 3pm and full of good food, drinks and information on the city. Our group was only 8 people which help keep the tour feeling more personal. Accommodating for me as vegetarian also. At the end we were emailed recommendations on places for coffee, food, cocktails and wine. Will definitely recommend to friends visiting Vienna in the future

Of all the food tours in all the cities I’ve been this was by far the best! I love that they take you on public transportation and help you understand how to easily get around the city and see many different districts! Our guide, Magdalena, was fantastic! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get a good overview of the city with a lot of great food!!

We had fantastic day with Maria. Maria is a wonderful guide, she had so many great stories and information about Vienna and the food. We learned how to take public transportation and all the stops were full of delicious food. You could tell all the merchants like and respect Maria by how they greet her when she arrives. If we return to Vienna, we wouldn’t hesitate to book another tour with Wolfy’s and Maria.

Hands down the best food tour we had in forever! Not only did we get to sample a little bit of everything but Wolfy never hesitated to offer us more food and booze. We walked, took the metro/train and bus to zig zag our way around Vienna's hidden gems. Lunch was exceptional, we sampled 5 dishes and the wine paired very well. The very last stop, was a pleasant surprised where we ate and ate and ate again!!!

We had an incredible time on this food tour yesterday! Our guide, Maria (a lovely Italian lady), made the entire experience so memorable. She was wonderfully engaging, super knowledgeable, and explained everything in great detail — from the stories behind the dishes to the local culture. Every stop we visited was fantastic, offering delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere. You could truly feel her passion throughout the walk. What made it even more special was her thoughtful follow-up after the tour. She sent us an email sharing photos from our walk, along with fantastic local recommendations, insider tips, restaurant suggestions, and things to see in Vienna. It went well beyond our expectations! Highly recommended to anyone visiting Vienna — definitely one of the highlights of our trip.

Maria is a smart, funny, authentic, and all around wonderful guide and person. She is not only passionate and knowledgeable about the cuisine of Vienna, but also its wine, culture, history, and neighborhoods. She also expertly guided us through many districts in Vienna via its amazing transit system (trains, trams, and busses, oh my!) without breaking a sweat (her or us)! Great intro to this amazing City! What an experience in Vienna! I was in Vienna for only a couple of days and on day 1, we did a walking tour where we got to try a variety of local cuisine. Maria was our tour guide and was absolutely fantastic. She was so unbelievably knowledgeable and provided us with a lot of information - some of which you wouldn't have known unless you attended this tour. The information provided was interesting and enhanced the tour so much. We stopped at local spots, braved the subway system where we became pros thanks to Maria's expertise, and she provided us with knowledge about the history of Vienna as well. Since we walked through the different food markets throughout Vienna and it was on a Saturday, the markets were quite crowded but that was part of the whole experience! It was so awesome to go to the local spots and veer away from the tourist-focused locations. Maria is so kind and friendly and any questions that were asked, she answered professionally without hesitation. The price is definitely worth the experience and I would most definitely do this again! Thanks for a wonderful day in Vienna, Maria!

This was one of the best travel experiences we've gone on in our assorted European adventures, hands down! If you're heading to Vienna, this should definitely be one of the first things on your list: Our guide (Maria, the best) took our small, 7-person group all around town in little bursts (don't worry about walking for hours), explaining everything about HOW to navigate the city and giving her favorite recommendations that we couldn't fit in the tour. It was like having a local friend wanting you to love the city as much as she does- not just the foodie scene or the famous sights, but the whole living city, occasional wart and all. While we appreciated the guidance, we LOVED the food- and there was SO MUCH FOOD! I think there's pretty much something for everyone in this experience, which ran from semi-formal Viennese coffee culture (small bites and cakes!), to artisan street food (wurst is the best, but shout-out to the kummelbraten), to approachable local restaurants and Grandma's kitchen- all with an emphasis on local heritage and slice-of-life perspective in addition to the truly delicious food. I was constantly excited by what was coming next, even when we'd just finished savoring what was in front of us. This experience was a true highlight, and I hope you find it to be the same!

Maria was great. Food was amazing. Dont eat beforehand! You will probably also not need dinner later. Totally worth your time and money.

We had a wonderful food tour with Maria today! We frequently book food tours in cities we visit and this tour is among the best we've been on. Maria was very well organized with our group as we hopped on and off multiple forms of public transportation. The restaurants/food truck she took us to were all very authentically Viennese and the selections of tastings were all delicious. We highly recommend this tour.

This is such a fantastic tour, and one you should not leave Vienna without completing. It is a brilliant concept to travel around this beautiful city using a mix of transport as well as some walking whilst sightseeing and enjoying so many local delicacies during refreshment breaks at at least six very different venues. Our group of eight was provided with a tour of the less commercial areas of Vienna and what a success it was. Clearly the itinerary is chosen carefully to provide everyone with a memorable experience. Our guide was Maria who was sensational. She managed the group so professionally, guiding us seamlessly between each venue providing adequate local knowledge and history on whatever might be close by. Her charming personality blended well with her delightful delivery of a first excursion at the same time relating well with all the guests. As well as Maria, mention must be made of Thomas who provides his own special contribution. Thank you Maria for an exceptional day and thanks to the other guests for their warm company.

Maria made our trip to Austria. The food tour, was obvious we weren’t going to get the standard tourist trap treatment. Maria took us to the places locals actually go, and the food was out of this world. Every meal felt like something we’d have never found on our own. The planning was flawless. Nothing felt rushed, nothing felt like filler. Each site came with real context. She explained the history and the significance in a way that made everything land, instead of just pointing at buildings. Getting around was seamless and safe the entire time; we never once had to worry about logistics. What stood out most was how much care she clearly put into it. Maria didn’t just show us Austria, she gave us the authentic version of it. If you’re going and you want more than a checklist of landmarks, book her. We came home with real memories, and honestly, we’re still talking about the food.

The best food tour ever. Went to 6 different places to try food in Vienna. We purchase the 9 euro (per person price) that was good for 24 hours to ride the bus, subway or tram as you will ride all three types of transportation on this tour. Maria was the best guide and described the food we were eating or we wouldn’t have had a clue. It was good visiting the different places in Vienna for the food stops as we wouldn’t have done this without the tour. Always felt safe too.

This tour was a fantastic introduction to Vienna. With Maria's expert guidance we used the very impressive public transport system to pop into different districts of the city. This allowed us to experience a wonderful diversity of eating options that tourists wouldn't usually come across. Maria was able to cleverly intertwine the story behind the food with the history of Vienna. We came away with increased understanding of Vienna, and a very full stomach. Would highly recommend.

It's a terrific tour and Maria did a wonderful job of introducing us to Vienna Food and coupled it with supplying lots of tidbits on Vienna and Austrian customs. The food was interesting and tasty . Best go hungry there is lots. We made 7 different stops in different parts of the city that I am sure I would never have seen without a guide. While it's a longish tour we were never rushed and the combination of short walks and public transport worked well. I highly recommend

This tour was phenomenal. Wolfy showed us areas of Vienna we would have never gone to on our own! He taught us how to use the metro system on the tour and we had phenomenal food selections on the tour! We would highly recommend this tour if you are in Vienna!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kristoff was an absolutely fantastic guide! We spent 5.5 hours exploring Vienna on a walking food and drink tour, and the time flew by. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the experience feel like so much more than just a food tour. It was such a fun way to experience Vienna while learning about the city, its culture, and its food traditions along the way. There were so many delicious stops, but my personal favorites were the Viennese Melange coffee, Kardinal pastry, and the incredible ice cream dumplings — all things I probably never would have discovered on my own! Kristoff kept the entire 5.5-hour tour interesting and enjoyable from beginning to end. We left full, happy, and feeling like we had experienced a side of Vienna we wouldn’t have found otherwise. This was easily one of the highlights of our time in Vienna. Highly recommend this tour, and especially Kristoff!

Marie was absolutely fantastic. She provided an in depth history of food and food culture in Vienna as it pertained to our selected meals. We enjoyed each stop. 11/10 recommend! We hope you also get to visit with Thomas along the way.

Magdalena was a lovely and knowledgeable host. I loved the ice cream dumpling but most of all was visiting 16er Wurstelstand where Thomas gave us a very entertaining introduction to great street food. I went back a few days later for more. 😀
