Steigenberger Hotel Herrenhof

We spent 4 nights in this beautiful hotel. The location is PERFECT ! Walking distance from many places and close to train station. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Great experience all around.highly recommended

The hotel is very conveniently located within walking distance to many attractions, and the nearest metro station is just around the corner. Attention to the room cleanliness is exceptionally high, as there was extra check done even after the actual cleaning. I would have preferred a little bit better selection of fruits and vegetables for the breakfast, but otherwise the breakfast, and the service there, was very good.

We stayed at this lovely hotel from July 9-14 and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The hotel manager helped us with a challenging situation on arrival, the restaurant staff and breakfast selections were amazing. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. Location is excellent with subway literally around the corner and easy walking distance to inner city restaurants shops and sites. Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at Steigenberger Hotel Herrenhof and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vienna. The hotel’s location is outstanding and made it incredibly easy to explore the city. The property was consistently clean and well maintained, and I particularly appreciated the daily housekeeping service, which was always thorough and reliable. Despite being in such a central location, the hotel was remarkably quiet, allowing for a comfortable and restful stay. I would also like to give special recognition to Sebastian (I hope I have his name correct), who worked at the reception desk and assisted me during both check-in and check-out. As a first-time visitor to Vienna, I frequently approached him with questions throughout my stay, whether for restaurant recommendations, directions around the city, sightseeing advice, or assistance related to my room. Every single time, he was professional, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely happy to help. What stood out most was not only his willingness to assist but the warmth and positivity with which he did so. His recommendations were excellent, his guidance was always clear, and he consistently made me feel welcome. Employees like Sebastian make a real difference to the guest experience, and he genuinely made my stay more pleasant and enjoyable. Please extend my sincere thanks to him. He is a great ambassador for the hotel and one of the reasons I will remember my stay so fondly. Thank you to the entire team for a wonderful experience in Vienna.
