We stayed at this hotel for three nights, and honestly, we have nothing but praise for it. We loved the hotel's Brazilian atmosphere; the room was very spacious and clean, featuring an open-space with a living area (including a sofa bed) and kitchenette, and a sleeping area with a double bed. Oh, and there was even a swing next to the bed—a big hit with our son. Cool! As for the location, taking tram line 2 right outside the hotel got us to the Opera in 25 minutes. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of dishes with plenty of choices. The hotel also has its own underground parking (19 euros/day) and an electric vehicle charging station—for a fee, of course. The only complaint îs that The hotel doesn't have air conditioning, but for us it wasn't a big problem. For us, it will certainly be the perfect choice for our next visit to Vienna.

If you’re looking for a place where you can slowly die from the heat, this is definitely the place for you. There is no air conditioning in the rooms, and during hot summer weather, the temperature becomes absolutely unbearable. We stayed for three nights, and I barely slept for all three of them because of the heat. For me, air conditioning in a hotel is a basic expectation, especially during summer. However, when I asked about it at reception, I was rather rudely told by the staff that “air conditioning is a luxury in Austria.” The way this was communicated was dismissive and unprofessional. Well, lesson learned — apparently, in Austria I also need to specifically filter hotels by air conditioning when booking. That being said, if a hotel chooses not to provide AC, I would at least expect them to offer some reasonable alternative to make guests comfortable during hot weather. There was a fan in our room, but just look at the photos and see the condition it was in. It was covered in dust, and the filter clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. Is this really what guests are supposed to breathe in? Unfortunately, cleanliness was an issue in general. There was quite a lot of dust on surfaces in the room, and the floor felt sticky. Another thing worth mentioning is that the rooms are only cleaned once every three days, supposedly because the hotel is “eco-friendly.” Personally, sometimes I wish hotels would simply be honest and say, “We’re saving money on housekeeping staff,” instead of presenting reduced service as an environmental initiative. The breakfast was also very mediocre and definitely didn’t make up for the other issues. Overall, the combination of unbearable heat, poor cleanliness, very limited housekeeping, mediocre breakfast, and an unpleasant experience with the reception staff made our stay extremely disappointing. I definitely would not recommend this hotel, especially during the summer.
I absolutely loved my stay at this aparthotel and would definitely come back. The apartment was very spacious, modern, and exceptionally well organised. The room was quite warm when I arrived, but the air conditioning worked perfectly and quickly made it comfortable. One of my favourite features was the Bluetooth speaker in the room, which also doubles as a wireless phone charger. It’s a small detail, but it really adds to the overall experience. I also appreciated the complimentary bottle of water and the free coffee and tea available in the reception area. The staff truly made my stay even more enjoyable. The first person I met was Lucas, who took the time to explain everything about the hotel in a friendly and professional way. The fact that he spoke Portuguese made me feel even more welcome. Later, I had the pleasure of meeting Mike, who also speaks Portuguese and kindly helped me buy a public transport ticket. Both of them went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. When I found out that the hotel was inspired by Brazil, I had a feeling I was going to love it—and I was right. In my opinion, if there’s one thing Brazilians know how to do exceptionally well, it’s hospitality. That warmth and welcoming atmosphere could be felt throughout the entire hotel. The rooftop terrace is also a lovely place to relax after a day of exploring Vienna. Although I didn’t have the chance to try the breakfast, based on the rest of my experience, I’m sure it’s just as excellent. Thank you to the whole team for making my stay so memorable. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Vienna.
Great stay. Not superb as per some reviews. Rooms are spacious and have good amenities. The hotel is friendly. Staff is ok, but not always "brazil-vibes" enthusiastic. Breakfast is fairly basic, for 19.50 euros. Only remark on the rooms is that the tv could be a bit further from the feet, both for the sleeper's and for the tv's sake :-D
We had a lovely stay at Hotel Rioca Vienna Posto 1 — the room was large, comfortable, bright and thoughtfully arranged, and the whole atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The bed was cozy, the linens fresh, and everything felt spotlessly clean. The location is convenient and made exploring Vienna easy and fun. We would happily return. Great value and a genuinely pleasant experience.
