Located in Vienna’s diplomatic quarter very close to Belvedere Palace, the NH Wien Belvedere offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The 492 ft² spa area features a sauna, a steam bath, a gym, and a relaxation room. Combining Art Nouveau charm with modern design, the rooms are equipped with a work desk and feature high ceilings and large windows. Some rooms offer views of the palace and the Botanic Gardens. The NH Belvedere occupies the historic former building of the State Printing Offices. A varied breakfast buffet is served in the bright breakfast room every morning. There is an open bar next to the reception offering drinks and snacks 24 hours a day. To reach the property, please take a train from the airport to the main train station (Hauptbahnhof), then change to tram line O towards Bruno-Marek-Allee. Get off at Rennweg/Fasangasse. This hotel was chosen for us by our cruise company, and may not have been our first choice, having now experienced a stay here.
The hotel is definitely dated and in need of upgrades. Our room had a shower that leaked and no USB ports. We needed to iron some clothing and were given an ironing board that was so old, it wouldn’t stand up. The worst issue, however. was that the room was very warm. We were unable to adjust the temperature and when we asked at the front desk, we were told that it was a set temperature (we couldn’t get it to go below 25!).
The breakfast buffet was quite good, fortunately, and saves this review from having an even lower rating.
Love this hotel! It’s in a great location and pretty close to the garden. We also got upgraded, and the room was spacious and comfortable. Definitely recommend staying here—the location is really convenient too!
I am a customer from NH chain since a couple years. I have been in other ones, including Vienna. Since I wanted to try a cheaper one, this is what I got: what you pay is what you have. Old building with the feeling that a renovation would cause a better impression. Location is good, nearby tram and bus stations, but you can walk to central train ststion or downtown easily. Breakfast is really delicious, and the attendants are always nice.
We were VERY pleased with our stay in this hotel. It was clean, it has a great location. Many things are easily reachable by public transport or on foot. Breakfast was very good. Many varieties of things and also more expensive things like fresh avocado and cheeses. Vegetable juices were also a standard item. There was always fresh water available with fruits and spices at the lobby. The room was spacious, the bathroom was adequate. I was also impressed with all the fresh flowers around the hotel and on the tables. We will definitely come back here when we visit Vienna again!

The room was very quiet, which allowed us to rest perfectly. It is actually the first time we have slept like babies in a hotel, and that is definitely worth mentioning!
We also really appreciated the little attentions, as well as the warm welcome from the staff, who were always pleasant and helpful. We truly felt well taken care of.
Having a fridge available in the room was also very welcome, especially during the hot weather. The room was also equipped with a safe, a kettle and a coffee machine, which made the stay even more comfortable.
For our part, we also enjoyed the decoration and the charm of the place. The hotel has a very pleasant atmosphere, and the building itself is more than enough to give real character to the stay.
The location is also a real highlight: being just a few steps from the Belvedere Gardens is a huge advantage, especially when enjoying Vienna on foot. There is plenty to see around the hotel and, of course, in Vienna, you are never short of beautiful discoveries.
A very good address: quiet, welcoming, and ideally located. We would gladly come back.
