Hotel Spiess & Spiess

Great value, lovely boutique hotel with fantastic location. Feels like an older but well-mainained apartment building, rooms are spacious, clean and have some modern accessories, balcony was a very nice plus. Coffee, tea, hot and cold water available 24-7 along with pour-over coffee pots. Shower was large and worked well. Highly recommend for a nice combination of characteristics. Proximity to subway station was unbeatable, but the surrounding neighborhood is fantastic so you might not care as much for transit.

WOW! The Spiess and Spiess Hotel surpassed all expections and it is easy to see why this hotel is rated a 4 star. Hard to tell where to start with the compliments. From checking in with the incredible front desk rep, Johannes, we knew right away that we were in for a treat. He was so helpful over our stay of 7 days that we felt in good hands the entire time with help on palace and museem tickets, tranportation, restaurant recommendations and every other request we had. The room was exceptionally large with a separate entry foyer, vauted ceilings, white ceramic tile everywhere, an oversized bathroom and seperate toilet was a bonus. The beds were first class and you would have thought that they were installed new the day before. The maid service was immpecable and it seemed that she had a 6th sense of when we were not in the room as everytime we returned, the room was made up. The amenities are far too many to mention, but in the lobby, fresh cooled water (still or sparkling with liter sized bottles you can take to the room) organic teas, coffee and metal water bottles to take away that we used on our many excurtions from the hotel. Finally, we were amazed at how centrally located the hotel is on a very quiet street that is only one street away from the bustling Landstrasse, aone minute walk from the U3 metro line and one stop away from the direct airport train, buses and too many good places to eat. Do not forget to try out the amazing breakfast buffet that we had on the last day for a beautiful send off from this amazing week in Vienna.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would gladly return. The location is excellent for exploring Vienna, with a metro station just a short walk away and convenient parking nearby. The room was spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and very quiet. What truly stood out was the friendliness and hospitality of the staff, who made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast was very good, with high-quality products and delicious bread. If there is one area for improvement, it would be to offer a little more variety from day to day. On one occasion, part of the bread was unfortunately still frozen in the centre, but this was clearly an exception and only a minor blemish on an otherwise excellent experience. Overall, a top hotel that we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Vienna.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The room is very spacious and comfortable, very clean, and everything feels new and updated. We have a nice view and balcony, perfect for a quiet and relaxing moment. It's not in the center of the city but very close to the U3 Metro line. We didn't include breakfast because it's a bit expensive and you need to order the day before, but there are great options in the neighborhood, plus many good restaurants. I think it's a great option for the price.
