Clarion Hotel Vienna South

Stayed here for 4 nights in a connecting room. Lovely hotel with nice views. Our other room was very warm and the other one was very cool. We weren't able to change the temperature in the rooms so thats was annoying. The rooms where meant to have a city view but we were on the side facing the other building so no city view for us. The biggest minus about this hotel was the breakfast and breakfast room. The view was fantastic! But the breakfast room has been planned poorly leaving the breakfast buffet area very narrow. One of the mornings was peaceful and we managed to get a table easily but other morning we struggled to get a tavle even though we went early at 7:30 for breakfast. Some mornings there just wasn't enough staff and they ran out of alot of food. For a big company and a big hotel, the breakfast just wasn't good enough. I've stayed at many clarions before and this one had the worse breakfast out of them all.

Good stay with minor room for improvement We stayed at the Clarion for the first time in early June. Overall, it was a very good experience, though we have some constructive feedback regarding the check-in.Lobby: Very bright, clean, and welcoming. Reception: We checked in late around 10 p.m. Unfortunately, the arrival felt very rushed and impersonal, which made us feel uncomfortable. We was checked in by a staff member wih persian accent. Later on, the same staff member was behind the reception area with civillian clothing, which felt a bit unprofessional. The front desk is the first impression of the hotel, so more mindfulness here would be great. Room: Very nice, clean, bright, and well-equipped with a safe, TV, and ironing facilities. Excellent. Breakfast: A definite highlight! Located on the 22nd floor, offering a rich, high-quality selection with a unique view. Thank you to the team.I am giving 4 stars due to the mixed check-in experience. Otherwise, it would have been a full five stars. After a statement from the front desk manager i will raise the stars to four stars.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Clarion hotel for sight seeing. The hotel exterior is very nice in an office complex with shops and cinema at the lower floors. The bus station is at the front of the door, tram station 500 m and takes you to downtown in 20 min. There is also parking below the hotel which you can pay at the hotel. Checkin was smooth. Mr Ali was very helpful during our checkin with helpful advice and suggestions. Staff in general at the hotel are good. Rooms are clean and modern. Minor issues, standard rooms does not have a safe or mini bar only the executive rooms. You can hear the ambulance from the rooms(a hospital is very near by) the casting in the tv was not working. You can also request late check out and you pay by the hour which was very convenient for us. Overall we had a good stay and we will be back again

Excellent hotel in all aspects. We stayed 7 nights to explore Vienna. We interacted with many front desk members, housekeeping and the top floor restuarant for breakfast. Everyone on staff was very professional, friendly and helpful The room was great. Hot water, internet, great beds, very quiet, no problems whatsoever. The location here is really good as well. My favorite grocery stores Hofer (aldi here) and lidl. 5 minutes walk. Connected to a mall with another grocery and restuarants and the hotel gives you a daily pass to an excellent fitness club right in the mall. I used that every day. Buses pass in front and the trusty number one line tram is five minutes away. That takes you right downtown or to the main train station. You can get to any location easily. As choice hotel members we can say that Clarion Vienna South is right there with the best hotels in the world. If any choice hotel corporate people are listening we suggest you recruit folks from Europe to get to the USA and improve quality.
