I only stayed one night with my wife but it was very nice and comfortable.
The only three little things that annoyed me a bit was the single elevator available that was not only for staff or guests but both, always very crowded, the piston on the bathroom door (why would there be one and why so strong?) and the heater which I had to turn off manually at night because it sounded like someone taking a shower constantly in the other room. 😂 Silly me when I realised it was the heater.
Otherwise really really good place.
I stayed at this hotel 23-25 October and had a very unpleasant experience with housekeeping and the way the staff handled it. I booked this hotel because I was attending a nearby conference, and on Saturday I was hoping to finally sleep in. Instead, at 8:30 AM, I was woken up by a housekeeper who knocked once and immediately started entering the room.
After that, I put the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door. I still had the room until 12:00 — my checkout time. But at 11:30 AM, despite the sign clearly hanging on the door, a housekeeper again knocked and immediately tried to enter. I was standing there in my underwear — it was incredibly disturbing and embarrassing.
When I informed the receptionist at checkout, he showed no concern at all. He told me that I should have put the sign up earlier (suggesting it was somehow my fault?), and completely ignored the fact that the housekeeper entered despite the sign. Even though I was visibly upset, he did not even apologize.
Accidents can happen, but the complete lack of empathy and accountability from staff made it so much worse. A simple apology would have gone a long way. This experience left a very bad impression.
Stayed from October 5–8 — easy check-in, friendly staff (special thanks to Vladimir).
Great location next to Schönbrunn Palace, with tram and taxi stops nearby.
Spacious, very clean room with a garden-view balcony and perfect heating during cold weather.
Quiet neighborhood, great nearby restaurants (Plachutta and Dommayer), and the price was absolutely worth it!

Spacious clean rooms with great shower. Breakfast buffet was great. Let down only slightly by a few minor cleaning issues. Huge shout out to lovely Anna Maria on Reception. Super friendly and welcoming.
