Yarra River Half-day Rafting Experience

Great experience on the beautiful Yarra. Andrew is a cool guy, and we had a small fun group of 5. Including a guy called Stuart, who was good entertainment. After the kayaking, Andrew kindly took me to see the kangaroos nearby.

Initially I was a little wary because of the rain we'd had - turned out to be excellent conditions! Andrew is a wonderful host, guide, coach and just a top bloke all round. I did find muscles I didn't realise I had, I won't lie. Hands down the best way to see our beautiful river, just stunning. Will definitely be booking a return trip!

Another great rafting experience with Andy and Enya. Just as much fun in wet weather as when the sun is shining. Had a precious rafting experience with Andy on the Franklin River for 7 days. He was extremely professional and also a great communicator. This helped to keep us safe yet have an exhilarating experience.

Had good fun , weather was good but water is a bit low.

Had an awesome time on the Yarra River rafting trip. The instructor was super friendly, kind and really professional, which made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. They were great with my son as well—made sure he felt comfortable and included, which meant a lot. You can tell they really care about what they do. Thanks again for such a lovely day out. The guide is so kind and easygoing. He explained a lot of things about Yara river and creatures in it, so got to know new things that I’d had no idea before. Rafting is also nice and it feels so nice because of sound of nature and beautiful views. After rafting, he took us to lookout called “sky high”, which was not included in the tour. The veiw from it was also awesome 👏

It Was Amazing. Informative, educational and a real rare experience. We learnt about the rivers power, how to manage it and the history of the area.

Had an excellent time with an amazing guide (Connor), would totally recommend to anyone. Views were great, rafting wasn't too challenging so it seems accessible to all.

Went with my two sons [11 &13]. We enjoyed the whole experience, from learning about the flora and fauna, to seeing the wombat and eagle, and experiencing the paddle. Our guide was enthusiastic and I formative. As my sons have kayaked before, they found the rapids a bit tame/few. Therefore, for our next trip we will try out another section of the river that has greater volume/more rapids. All in all, a great afternoon.

Highly recommend this tour. My husband and my son had never done it before and definitely had an incredible experience. After an amazing canoe ride, the guide made sure to bring us close to wild kangaroos. Just do it, you will love it!

The views were amazing and my friends and I had so much fun. The tour guides Andy and Jen were excellent offering encouragement and support.

Absolutely fun. A lot of arm workout for me personally but thanks to the our thoughtful tour guide, Andrew, who let me hitch a ride when I needed a break. Definitely worth the view, the adventure and laughter. The perfect activity for anyone whether if you are looking for peacefulness, action or team building.

Absolutely fun from beginning to end. A gem of a find of things to do in Melbourne. Andy and Jen were great. Experienced guides, generous with their time, would have no hesitation to recommend them and would like to book another trip.

Thanks to Andy for guiding our diverse group down the not so treacherous Yarra rapids! A great little trip with lovely fresh fruit snacks and salad wraps at lunch. :-)) Somehow he managed to get some good video shots while assisting us to negotiate some of the narrower bits - thanks Andy. In particular, thanks for towing Grandma and Grandad for a short stretch to give us a rest, even though we didn't really need it - we were just taking advantage of his kind offer! A thoroughly enjoyable trip that was very professionally run in an extremely friendly way.

Great fun trip. Andy was very helpful and knowledgeable Teenagers had an amazing time. Beautiful place. Parrots and kangaroos seen.

We had a great time paddling along the Yarra river. The rapids were fun, but not too intense. Lovely scenery with some interesting facts from our guide. Andrew was relaxed but in control, with a great sense of humour. I thought his instructions at the beginning of the morning were really useful and informative. Would highly recommend this trip!

Such a fun day out, we booked last minute as wanted to explore the Yarra Ranges and Yarra River. Jen & Andrew were so accommodating and easiest to book and pay direct with them! Fantastic day rafting, really enjoyed Andrews’s knowledge of the flora and fauna of the area, reaching us all the paddle techniques and my teens (13 & 15) could go solo in their own raft which was very cool. Views were awesome, the guide was great! We want to get some gear of our own now. Definitely recommend. We had fun. Pics and vids were taken and sent to us too which was awesome

Jen and Jarrah were amazing guides who were super friendly and fun, but also very professional and made us feel safe. It was a beautiful experience paddling along the Yarra and going through the rapids all whilst being immersed in nature and gorgeous scenery. Jen also took photos and videos which were a nice thing to keep for looking back on, and also gave us snacks along the way! Excellent experience. Guides were excellent. Day was enjoyable even though weather wasn’t perfect. Lunch was well catered and covered all tastes.

What an excellent experience. Jen and her amazing four legged support team Ruby treated us to an amazing half day rafting down the Yarra. She was very well organised, a great, knowledgeable and patient instructor and guide. Myself and my two young sons had a really special time. Jen took loads of pics and videos of us during the trip, which she airdropped us at the end. A great time and I can recommend it highly. We’re now looking at doing the longer full day excursion as it was such a great day.

The guys at Warrandyte Adventure Tours took a group of our Outdoor Education class on a trip down the Yarra. This was a great experience with all the equipment supplied. All of the students had a good time. This was one of the best excursions I have been on.

Spectacular day for wonderful adventure with beautiful people, very professional, super caring and sweet. Thank you Jen, Andrew, you will certainly see us again! I've learnt few tricks and few facts, saw incredible sights, got a bit of a workout, but not too much, it was PERFECT.
