Phillip Island Sunset Cruise

Was such a lovely cruise. Got to see a lovely sunset. Lovely staff. Nice little snack plate. I would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our experience. We had a nice little snacking plate, we really enjoyed the intimate and eclectic live music and it was great to see Phillip Island from the water. There was some informative commentary, but it was never intrusive. Overall a terrific two hours well spent.

The cruise was a fantastic experience. The staff were friendly and the captain was great. Unfortunately not a brilliant sunset but was still worth it.

The sunset cruise was such an amazing experience I would recommend it to anyone . We all had the best time . The crew were amazing also .

On reading previous reviews I was excited for this cruise, only to be left quite disappointed. There was zero commentary/information given on board and the sail was up the coast and back again. I would have loved to learn about the history of the island or hear about the wildlife around the island but no.. we were welcomed on board and then thanked as we were leaving. That was it. Definitely not worth what we paid.. the snack boxes given out were the only reason I didn’t give this trip 1/5. The girls working on the boat were pleasant also. Save your money and have a walk along the beach instead. Waste of time in my opinion.

Fantastic time! Great sights,good nibbles and fantastic staff! Highly recommended as a post dinner/pre dessert activity.

We had a great time on this cruise! The staff were all lovely, the boat was in great condition and the captains commentary was awesome. The only issue we had was that the ‘light canapés’ was a plate of fruit - I’m glad we had dinner before going! Other than that we had a great time and would highly recommend the experience to anyone

Had an amazing time on the Phillip island twilight cruise. The crew were fantastic and very accommodating. Would highly recommend this cruise. If you are looking for something to do with the family or even friends this is a great cruise. Thanks to the captain John and crew Georgia, Mel and Chris.

Commentary was excellent. Finger foods were a nice bonus. Everything else was quite a good view and atmosphere.

The crew on this boat are very professional and really know how to make people feel welcome and comfortable. The commentary was interesting and scenery enjoyable. Seeing the submarine so close was a highlight of my holiday on Phillip Island.

Great commentary, very friendly young staff , food provided was lovely. Despite the weather, which wasn’t kind- cloudy and musty rain- we enjoyed our little outing. Must do it again .... maybe we’ll see a sunset next time.

We had a wonderful time on the Twilight cruise, met new people and some great scenery. The HMAS Otama was well worth seeing,had no idea it was there. The staff were friendly and seemed to enjoy being there and mingling with the guests. Would definitely recommend. :)

We had a wonderful time on the Twilight Cruise, the views of the island were stunning, and we got to see seals, dolphins, wallabies and different birds. The crew were so friendly, warm and welcoming and great finger food was provided during the cruise. The commentary from the Captain was interesting and informative. I definitely recommend it!

We had a wonderful relaxing time on our recent Twilight Cruise. As a local in the area with a hospitality business, it was great to experience first hand one of the many cruises that Wildlife Cruises offer. I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone wanting to end their day with a relaxing tour of Westernport Bay. The complimentary nibbles were excellent and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying the cruise. Definitely recommend Wildlife Cruises.

We went on the Cape woolamai cruise in the morning and we had staff giving US a display of how to put the life jacket on and they did not say to put life jackets on children first But on the TWILIGHT Cruise this did not happen The twilight Cruise was very enjoyable iT was very nice to have delicious homemade food. The staff very helpful and made sure you were ok on the cruise. We would recommend to our friends as it was another way to see the area

We went to the Twilight Cruise with an open mind, not sure what we were really in for. And did we get a wonderful night for the event. The team on board were cheerful, friendly and attentive. Light refreshments kept appearing as the Cruise progressed, and were delicious. The skipper for the night gave us a commentary on where we were, where we were heading next and loads of interesting facts about the places we were near. We cruised around the HMS Ottawa, just as the sun was starting to set and it was bathed in a golden glow, that made it look absolutely wonderful. SO MANY photo opportunities, plenty of wildlife, fantastic panoramas. And we had the sunset as we returned back to Cowes. I would recommend this trip, especially when it was so peaceful on the bay. We will be looking at the other cruises provide by Wildlife Coast Cruises later on.

We loved our cruise and had a great time! The staff were friendly, scenery lovely, nice food. Love to do it again. Was interested to listen to the Captains commentary (including safety directions) but was unable to hear it due to other passengers around us being very noisy. That is definitely not a reflection of the cruise company, but maybe they could turn the speakers up a bit louder. Really enjoyed our first cruise and will be back for more. Thank you all.

Absolutely loved the Twilight Bay Cruise/Sunset Cruise. The price was fantastic for 1.5 hours, cheap bar drinks and appetisers (the sausage rolls were mouth watering!) Friendly attentive crew, highly recommend! We are from Perth and this was a perfect thing to do while here, thanks all!

We were impressed with our trip from beginning to end! Friendly staff, comfortable boat , superb finger food and beautiful weather all combined for a great evening!! Would recommend to anyone! A highlight of our stay on the Island.

We booked our trip via the internet and the whole process was quick and easy to do. When we arrived to Phillip Island we found where we were getting picked up very easily. Parking is free and easy to find. We found the whole trip relaxing and we all had fun. The staff were incredibly helpful and very helpful and professional. All the staff were a credit to the team. We will be back and will book the other tours.

Went on Twilight cruise on Saturday was such a beautiful night with Hubby, thanks to the staff that welcomed,us & Mel....again we be back soon !

Have been to Phillip Island any times in the 30 years that I have live in Australia and this was the first time that I had viewed the island by water. The trip was stunning, the weather was perfect and it allowed for some smooth sailing. The crew were friendly and welcoming and the skipper funny, informative and kept the crowd laughing, informed and entertained. Thank you for a wonderful evening

Very genuine and pleasant crew. Dale got us up close to the HMAS Otama while Mel and crew had amazing energic service and treated patrons to great info and homemade food. Highly recommended.

A windy night to start but nonetheless a very enjoyable evening. Staff are friendly and informative. Clever stops during trip for photo opportunities a nice touch. We had a gorgeous sunset with beautiful pastels across the sky. Highly recommend.

Excellent cruise crew were extremely helpful and courteous. Informative narration given by captain. Found it relaxing and enjoyable, wasn't aware of submarine HMAS Otama so was great to see up close. Highly recommend.

We all had a great evening on the Sunset Cruise, the captain and the crew were first class with their knowledge, service and their welcoming attitudes, thoroughly recommended.

The cruise was excellent and all staff were friendly and helpful. A fair bit of history was given which was great and the night was perfect.

We would highly recommend the Phillip Island Twilight Cruise with Wildlife Coast Cruises. The staff were friendly and very courteous. We found the cruise of Westernport really interesting and the commentator very informative. We especially enjoyed seeing the decommissioned submarine and French Island. The trip had a substantial supper included in the cost, and the opportunity to purchase drinks during the voyage.

Have done the seal rock cruise with this company before. Wanted to do something different. Chose this twilight tour as a short walk to the jetty from where we are staying. Very calm waters. Minimal wave movement. Very relaxing. Plenty of finger food provided. Beers priced very reasonably. Well worth doing.

The cruise was nice enough and the staff helpful and friendly. Sea air was nice; cool evening breeze after a hot day was welcome and the hots snacks were good but, that's all there is. Would I do this cruise again? No.

What a wonderful way to end a wonderful day. The sun set was amazing.It is a must do if you are on Phillip Island for sun set. The crew were wonderful & very informative (especially Mel). We cruise across bay to see the Submarine that is anchored near the mainland then back to Cowes an hour & a half later. I have a disability (I don't walk well) but getting on to the boat was easy enough. There are a few steps down to the boat & some on the boat should you choose to go to the top deck (which I didn't). In side the boat is roomy with tables between most seats.

Had a good trip. The crew where lovely but the captain could have been a little nicer to everyone when boarding the boat just wasn't a good impression the way he was speaking down to everyone

We were lucky enough to be on the Cape Woolamai Shearwater twilight cruise last Friday. It was wonderful - seals, sunset, shearwaters by the thousands flying around and rafting up in the water before flying in to their nesting burrows as it got dark. The only improvement I can think of is if the wonderful crew had managed to organise a whale breaching next to the boat... I can thoroughly recommend this experience.
