Loved it here, cosy, warm and quiet. Just a little draft from the bottom of the entrance door, to our room a towel covering it took care of that. Nice continental breakfast until I saw a guest use their hands instead of the supplied tongs for the bread. Otherwise loved the place and the furnishings.
A wonderful stay for a winter weekend. Excellent cocktails by the fire, a spacious comfortable room that was well appointed and full of character. Staff were very welcoming and the whole experience was relaxing, especially with a visit to the metung hot springs!
Overall is great, it is such a nice boutique style hotel surrounded by small garden at the backyard viewing from our breakfast table, breakfast variety is okay. Just one downside is the shower is not good, not powerful as well as cold and hot on and off. Hotel gave $10 voucher for foods and drink per stay, which is great. We enjoyed our stay.
Absolutely amazing stay here at the Riversleigh. Room was very clean and tidy upon our arrival, and was very spacious with comfy beds and the shower is incredible! The service also made our stay very special - whilst all staff are lovely, one staff member Donna went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. She was extremely friendly, helpful and just overall really lovely to chat with! Breakfast buffet was great with a wide range of food suitable for everyone - a highlight is being able to make a toasted ham, cheese and tomato croissant. Will be coming back here in the future!
Our family had the most lovely stay. Donna and the whole team were so kind and accommodating of our children (0,2 and 4), nothing was too much trouble. Our room was beautiful and the bar and dining room were stunning.
