Silverwater Resort

The only pleasant thing about this resort is the location by the ocean front. Sadly, I thought to give this resort a go despite seeing recently negative reviews. It is an expensive stay here, and for what you pay, you expect to receive proper clean hygiene. The rooms were disgustingly dirty, the linen had hair, the bed frame had a smudge of brown substance, the cot provided which we paid extra for came without a cot mattress which they mentioned was part of their protocol very unsafe for the child In fact my son cried all night because of it, thus oil stains on doors, walls and the kitchen cabinetry. Not to mention also the toilet paper had stains on it so beware. Our room was missing a microwave, and the hot water system didn’t work along with the central heating system didn’t work. Every time we tried to contact reception they would send the same person to do pretty much everything so no expertise what so ever in the cleaning of the rooms. Don’t waste your money on the limited selection buffet. The food offered is highly over processed, oily, smelly and barely any vegetables. The muffins were also frozen cold. Very disappointing for the price paid. Definitely won’t be back and will make sure relatives and friends don’t come here.

We visited for Father’s Day and had an absolutely spectacular stay at Silverwater Resort in San Remo! The resort provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable family celebration, blending a relaxing coastal atmosphere with exceptional amenities. From the moment we checked in, we were blown away by the stunning panoramic views over the Bass Coast . It truly was the ultimate weekend getaway to celebrate Dad.The Highlights of Our StayThe Magnificent Swimming Pools: The pool facilities were a massive highlight of our trip. The large, heated indoor pool and spa were absolutely perfect for the cooler weather, offering a warm and inviting escape where the whole family could unwind. The outdoor pool area is equally stunning, surrounded by beautiful landscapes that make you feel like you are truly on vacation.Spacious & Modern Rooms: Our self-contained apartment was incredibly impressive. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully styled, and featured a brilliant layout with plenty of room for everyone to relax. Having a fully equipped kitchen, a laundry, and a private balcony with our own BBQ made the space feel like a luxurious "home away from home" with spectacular views.A First-Class Breakfast Buffet: Waking up to breakfast at the Watermark Restaurant was the perfect start to our day. The spread was exceptional, featuring a wide variety of fresh, high-quality hot and cold options to suit everyone. Enjoying a delicious meal while looking out through the floor-to-ceiling windows at the uninterrupted views of Westernport Bay was an unforgettable experience.

We have had a perfect 4 nights stay through Luxury Escape, celebrating our wedding anniversary in a lovely clean one bedroom apartment with panaramic views of the ocean. We received a bottle of red wine on check in. Thanks Mr Nischal Rawal for listening to our request to be close to the main building and a great view. Operations Manager Mr Raj runs a tight ship with everything functioning well. Executive Chef Mr Shiv, Chef Hannah, breakfast and dinner teams of Rhoda, Tammy, Cam, Luisa and Nitesh looked after us with care, serving a delicious buffet breakfast and yummy dinner of lamb Rogan Josh , rice, naans , raita and pappadums. The housekeeping is excellent with rooms having pristine linen, all facilities, amenities , cutlery, crockery, cooking vessels, washing machine cum dryer, dish washer, etc. Sitting on the balcony sipping coffee in the morning and wine in the evening made for a beautiful start and finish to the day. The pool, jacuzzi, sauna, are amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our daily visit. Thank you Lisa, Christina and team, we recognise your hard work Lisa youhavevgreat customer service skills!! Soner and Neha managed the Reception professionally. Neha is a true Customer Centric person.who will go the extra mile to help the guests. It is a pleasure to see her smiling face and twinkling eyes every morning with a pleasant greeting for all. Much appreciated Neha! We will certainly recommend this gorgeous resort to our family and friends. Will be a great venue for a wedding or a milestone event for a large group as it is self contained. San Remo is a wonderful place for a holiday . Everyone is welcome!!

Room was tired and run down. Room 352 had mould in shower and the carpet was dirty. A room clean was requested however only the towels were changed. Toilet broke but was repaired a few hours after a had to make a second call to reception. Beds are uncomfortable. No request for a room change was offered only apologies from the polite reception. We have stayed here numerous times over the years but our stay this time it was very disappointing. The playground and trampoline and pool however was delightful. Location was great however a car is needed. We won’t be staying here again unfortunately.
