The units were great for the family. Ideal location, walked to beach and shops. Units are good sized, with everything there. Just a little run down, but that's to be expected by the beach.

DO NOT STAY HERE THIS WAS MY COMPLAINT TO STEVE THE PROPERTY MANAGER WHOM IGNORED MY COMPLAINTS AND THEN CAME UP WITH 100 EXCUSES WHY EVERYTHING IS OKAY. Said he’d be available 24 seven and Someone was at the reception. There would be video cameras showing me going backwards and forwards with my toddler to the reception to try and borrow DVDs and to try and get toilet paper however no one was on site at all. PLEASE SEE EVERYTHING WRONG WITH THE VILLA BELOW my family stayed in Villa One last night. I am writing to formally raise a number of concerns regarding the condition and safety of the villa. Upon arrival, we discovered that no toilet paper had been provided. We have since purchased our own supplies. As we arrived and then went out for an early dinner, we did not have the opportunity to properly inspect the villa until later that evening. Once we did, we identified several issues that are unacceptable, particularly from a safety perspective. Most concerning is that there does not appear to be a smoke alarm installed in the upstairs bedroom where our toddler was intended to sleep. Due to this concern, he slept downstairs next to the laundry area instead. While I understand that maintenance issues can occasionally arise, the absence of a smoke alarm represents a serious safety risk. We also found a black pair of ladies' underwear left behind in the laundry room, which raises concerns about whether the property was properly cleaned and inspected prior to our arrival. In addition, the fireplace is not operational. It does not appear to have been recently decommissioned; rather, it appears to have been out of service for a considerable period. The spa bath has visible mould around all of the bubble vents. The blinds also appear to be unsafe and do not comply with current child-safety regulations relating to blind cords. Given the long-standing requirements designed to prevent child strangulation hazards, this is another significant safety concern. Taken together, these issues indicate that the villa has not been maintained to an acceptable standard and, in our view, is not suitable accommodation for a family with young children. We have documented all of the above concerns in a video and have retained evidence of the condition of the property. As a result of these issues, we will be vacating the villa today and are requesting a full refund of our stay. We ask that you please address this matter promptly and fairly. We would prefer to resolve this directly with you; however, given the seriousness of the safety concerns identified, we reserve our rights to pursue the matter further if necessary. I look forward to your response. Kind regards, NEVER GOT A RESPONSE. However now posted on Google publicly I’m sure he will have something to say like he does to all the previous guestS That have stayed there and complained
Great location. 2bedroom villa was perfect for us. Heaters worked marvellously! We really enjoyed our stay. For the price you’re paying however the villas do need some basic maintenance done to them and the cleaning wasn’t exactly through. Dust all over the window sills, a few cobwebs. The kitchen tap was leaking every time you used it. Big gap at the top of one of the doors so there was a fraught. Also not enough cutlery for the 5 of us that were staying. Grounds could also do with a tidy (long grass and weeds surrounding one of the villas.) and the car parks are tight!!! If you have a 4wd some of the parks require a 20 point turn to get into. Despite this we would very happily stay at the villas again.
We had a lovely time here at Rayville, it met all of our needs for a weekend getaway! The villa was clean, orderly and the beds were comfy. Perfect location tucked in between two beaches with the golf course right at the end of the street! Golf clubs, Surfboards and kayaks available for use. The staff were always helpful and responsive throughout our stay
The location of the property is amazing, it is on a quiet street and a two minute walk to either Apollo Bay or Marengo beach. It is within walking distance to the main street but you still feel like you are having a cozy private coastal getaway. It is rustic and has a very 90s feel to it, which adds to the charm. Rooms are clean and fresh feeling. Would highly recommend if you are passing through and need somewhere to relax for the evening on the Great Ocean Road.
