Very nice hotel. The only improvements I would like to see is having TV with option to watch Netflix and other streaming platforms which is becoming standard in hotels like that. I was also surprised I cannot buy glass of wine downstairs and take it to my room (they allow bottle). If I would like to buy whole bottle I would go to store across the street when they have huge selection of wines and better prices.
Its my second time staying at this hotel and definitely won't be last, my first stay was for my birthday and second time yesterday for my daughter's birthday, the rooms were clean, the apartment with ocean view on the top floor has a magnificent view 😍 we always ask for the same suite when available, me and my husband always wake up early morning just to watch the sunrise view moments which are wonderful over the sea.. The reception staff are amazing and welcoming. Highly recommended, hopefully we come back again..
Stayed here for a weekend, a one bedroom apartment. The room and view (photo attached) was exceptional. Perfect Geelong accommodation, close to everything, including the waterfront. My only minor issues: - The room service is breakfast only, it would be nice to have it available for lunch and dinner too. - The housekeeping service took our dirty towels but didn't replace with fresh ones. - TV very very slow. Still a 5 star hotel due to the quality of the room alone.
Didi, Nicole and the team at the Oaks R Geelong are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Nothing is a bother and we couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else. The rooms are gorgeous and locality is just perfect. Thank you so much! Sharon and Susan x
Had an unplanned stop over in Geelong. Looking for somewhere to stay at 1 a.m, is not as easy as it used to be. Saw that this place had 24 hr reception, so thought it might be a chance. Thank you to the lovely lady who saw us out the front and came to our rescue. Went out of her way to book us in for the few hours we would be there, without hesitation. We only wished we had more time to experience the whole package, but we will say that your beds are AMAZING!! Rest assured we will return another day to enjoy. Thank you again for your help.
