Novotel Geelong

Hotel is under Renovation. No notice. Carpets dirty both in hallways and room. Hotel pool working but half of it is a building site behind hoarding, no shower to clean off before or after, generally in need of maintenance, tired and dirty. No room tidy unless you tell them (communicated on a flyer upon check in, so if you don’t read it you will be surprised, as we were), with a justification that it’s ’for the environment’ rather than a cost saving measure. We managed to ask one of the staff and they were very friendly and did it for us. Service generally good and nice to sit in the adjacent bar/cafe, also with nice service. But yeah this hotel is a building site and needs to be cleaned and updated properly and prices should reflect this. They really should say this when you book. Not impressed, especially as an ALL member.

⭐️ A wonderful weekend at Novotel Geelong We had such a fantastic stay at Novotel Geelong. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome, and the whole experience was exactly what we hoped for from a weekend away. The location is unbeatable — right on the Geelong waterfront, with beautiful views and so many great restaurants, bars and things to do just a short walk away. It made it so easy to relax, explore and enjoy the weekend without having to worry about driving anywhere. Our room was lovely, comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the hotel had everything we needed. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, helpful and genuinely interested in making sure we had a great stay. We’re always appreciative when a hotel goes that extra step to make guests feel special, and Novotel Geelong certainly did that for us. We had a brilliant weekend and left feeling relaxed and very happy with our choice to stay here. We’ll definitely be back — Novotel Geelong has certainly made a great impression on us! Thank you to the whole team for such a memorable stay. ⭐️

Great stay. Comfy bed. Good hot water pressure. Outstanding view. Valet parking great - car was waiting for me each time I had it booked to take out. Barman was happy to make a custom cocktail for our group.

Great easy checkin process . Quick efficient and seamless . The staff are exceptionally friendly. Beautiful clean rooms . Great facilities every with the renovation you are not out out what so ever. Beautiful well work the money for our in room dining . Cheese board could feed 4-6 !!! Beautiful complimentary sweets and wine for my birthday !! Very surprised !! Room is clean bed is comfy. Everything is wonderful . Close walking distance to everything .
