Good location, plenty of parking. The good things just end there. Not up to Accor/Mercure standard. The room is noisy; you can clearly hear conversations and the TV from the next room. My room was on the second floor and next to the stairs, so I could hear people on the steps. The Wi-Fi was very weak; even the Foxtel TV couldn't play movies on demand smoothly. The bathroom smelled, and it only had fixed shower heads, not a handheld shower. There was no space to put my own shampoo and shower gels in the shower area. Although the hotel provides shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner in a dispenser fixed to the wall, I prefer to use my own toiletries. A notice in the pool and spa area stated that the pool area closed at 9:30 PM, but it was locked at 5:00 PM, seemingly out of laziness. I stayed for two nights, but the housekeeping didn't replenish the tea bags in the room.

Absolutely loved Mercure Port of Echuca! Clean spacious rooms, wonderful old-fashioned customer service and very kid-friendly. Spa was great, helpful and attentive team. Buffet breakfast had lots of gluten-free options. Awesome value for money this place - it won’t disappoint, couldn’t recommend highly enough!
Location was convenient, service was okay, but the room was dark and dusty. The bathroom was clean. The bed was on castors and moved away from the wall easily. A little dated, but it felt safe.
Really solid stay this time around. The family room was spacious and well set up, and the beds were super comfortable which made for a great night’s sleep (once things settled down). Breakfast was good with plenty of options, and the free filtered water was a nice touch that didn’t go unnoticed. Check-in was smooth with a genuinely warm welcome, and overall the property feels like it’s improved since my last visit, which is great to see. Only downside was a group of drunk guests making noise until around 1am, but that’s not a reflection on the hotel itself. Would happily stay again.
The rooms are pretty standard, could do with a bit of a renovation in the kitchen space, quite cramped with the microwave. Bathrooms are large and well appointed. It has what you need with a restaurant for dinner and breakfast available. The spa is hot which was enjoyable and the pool quite fresh, well maintained gardens also. Very central and within walking distance to the Port and restaurants. For the room price, I feel it would more reasonable to include a continental breakfast. Otherwise, no complaints with the cleanliness or service.
