What an amazing place, definitely a diamond in the rough! The refurbishment of the rooms is just lovely, cannot fault the rooms or bathrooms, plus it was so quiet, we loved our stay there. The only thing that lets the hotel down is probably the refurbishment should have included all the foyer areas, unfortunately they look tired and very dated, every bit of the 70’s that it is. I have to say that the staff were beyond helpful, they were just lovely!

Came for a girls night with my 2 year old We had the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, staff were so accommodating to our needs. The shower was great with good water pressure. We went to the on site restaurant and had the most mouth watering food you could have. The next day we had an incredible breakfast there. She is still talking about her holiday with mum, it was just what we needed
Staff were wonderful and very welcoming. The room was clean and spacious. Only complaint was how noisy it was. I kept getting woken everything someone opened the door of the next room as it sounded like my door. It also slams shut. You could hear everything from up and down the hallway. This night it went on until 1am.
Service: Can’t find anything to complain about really but at the same time wasn’t super friendly. Kitchen staff were better than the male receptionist. Room: Really nice and modern designs with clean bathrooms. Walls could be a little bit more clean as we found cobwebs and dust at multiple places. All in all, very very worth it for the price we paid. Less than $200 a night for a family suite and a delicious dinner. Food: Dinner was exceptionally good and authentic for a thai restaurant. Portions were much bigger than expected too at a really good price for a resort/hotel. Massive appreciation to Chef Bank for being incredibly talented and all round great. Continental breakfast was not the worst but nothing much to compliment about. Best part of our breakfast was the granola. Not much of a variety too. Misc: The heated pool would be better if the temperature was a little higher but it’s just a small thing.
Eden Oak Geelong A big Thank You to the staff for your caring support. We originally booked two nights to recover from jet lag and do some sight-seeing, but eating some bad food the morning we arrived changed that plan. You were able to extend our stay a day at a time, gave a good referral to a clinic, and otherwise made us as comfortable as possible. Our room was nice and comfortable and the common areas are architecturally beautiful with a lovely pool area and surroundings. The location is in a park adjacent to the 4th oldest botanic garden in Australia. Beautiful. Shopping is walkable, but maybe better to drive there if you’re carrying groceries. Breakfast buffet is included. It’s a good one, with eggs, meat, hash browns, baked beans, pancakes, lots of breads, and fruit. Dinner is generally by menu, but sometimes by buffet if a group is being hosted. Overall our stay here is a good memory. We have stayed in hundreds of hotels and this is one of the nicest accommodations in this price range. We got lucky with this gem in the park!
