Absolutely amazing!!!! I would recommend this tour. Be sure to wear comfy shoes and the right clothing, and keep hydrated. There is a lot of walking. But the views were breathtaking..

Fabulous experience! Crossing the border was quite choppy, with a slight delay on each side of border control (no fault of the guides), so I would say that if it’s dry season, you can probably limit your visit to the Zimbabwe side of the falls - more to see! We appreciated Lucky and Thuba, and Thuba in particular gave us insight into the history of the area, the culture of the people who used to inhabit the area surrounding the falls, and important context about Mosi-oa-Tunya! Beautiful sights and a good walk, on a hot day I would think that it would be hard for small children and the elderly but truly we saw all ages out there! Book with Thuba, you won’t regret it!
Victoria Falls is wonder of the world and we experienced it as a family
Both guides I had, from the Zambia and Zimbabwe sides were excellent. They took the time to explain the history, take pictures for me, and made me feel so welcomed. I highly recommend this tour for those that want to see the falls.
We had a wonderful tour with our very funny guide Thuba!
Great trip with Thuba! The border crossing was hazzle free, but if you don’t have too much time, the Zim side is maybe enough^
Thuba was fabulous as our guide! He takes the initiative to help take photos AND his photos are very very nice!! He is patient and also waited for us to finish taking photos. He explained the tour well too. Thanks Thuba!
The process for booking the tour was smooth and the operator gave us timely updates on the pick up location, although I would have preferred an earlier heads up. Thuba our guide for Zimbabwe was helpful and engaged our tour group well during the trip. We were also handed over to the Zambian side tour guide without much fuss, but it would be preferable if we had a contact in case there was trouble with the border crossing. For the value I thought it could be better as there weren't much to do on the Zambian side. We also had to pay the park fees for both sides ourselves.
Absolutely amazing Langae was a super star....informative..wonderful human being... Loved her to bits.
So on the Zimbabwe side of the falls the tour was amazing. The guide was amazing. Her name was Angel and she was patient and simply a great guide. However on getting to Zambian side things were very different. The puck up was good. The guide was not very good. He did not have any water for us was was advertised. When we were done he made us walk to the border post since the driver was not there. We waited over 45 minutes for the driver who eventually came but with a full load of people. We had make use of a local taxi which we did not pay for but this was not what was expected. He kept us in dark until I asked about the driver's whereabouts. So my advice don't waste your time and effort even going to the Zambian side. The views there are great but the level of professionalism and service needs to be raised to match the Zimbabwean side.
My tour guide Angelika Muzamba was excellent. She is very friendly and knowledgeable. She has personal approach to her clients. Angelika went out of her way to satisfy my expectations and preferences on the tour. Thanks for the rainbow hunting 😀
Sunshine our guide was excellent, her knowledge was very good and she communicated very well. Good value for money
Very enjoyable tour with an exceptional guide
I highly recommend this tour! Blessing (driver), our tour guides Del (Zambia side) , and Brown (Zimbabwe side) were very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and great photographers. The falls were beautiful but I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the facts and history of the falls and surrounding areas.
I took this tour in August as a solo female traveller and really enjoyed. Thuba was a truly excellent guide, very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient in answering all my questions. I learned so much from him and he took very good care of us. On the Zambia side, Delphinster also did a great job, accompanying us through the border, which would have been quite intimidating without her. She was always happy to take our photos and answer any questions we had. Overall, I would recommend this tour especially with guides Thuba and Delphinster.
We had an amazing time on this tour! The views on both sides were breathtaking and I highly recommend this tour for a full experience of the falls. We started on the Zimbabwean side in the afternoon and it worked really well. On the Zimbabwe side it felt like we could really feel the power of the falls, while we hit the Zambian side around sunset and the views were indescribable. The guides on both sides were knowledgeable and friendly, made the border crossings very smooth. Thuba, our Zimbabwean guide was so funny and quick to help with all the photos! He even gave us a great dinner recommendation and arranged our pickup from there to our lodging. All around, a great tour and worth the time and money!
Amazing experience! Our guides Thuba and Delphister were great and taught us so much about the falls, both nature and culture. Strongly recommend!
Our tour guy in Zimbabwe, "Ceelo," went out of his way to take pictures for our tour group, same thing for our tour guide in Zambia, "Dell." Beautiful overall experience, but be aware of two fees that you will have to pay. On the Zimbabwe side, there was an onsite fee of $116 USD and on the Zambia side, there was an onsite fee of $25 USD. When immigrating from Zimbabwe to Zambia, have your passport ready because you will have to show it several times. The immigration transfer from Zambia to Zimbabwe took a little longer, so just be prepared.
Everything was OK. Thuba is a fantastic tour guide, intelligent, polite and knows about the region
We had a fun day with Tuve in Zimbabwe and with Delphister in Zambia. Both guides were knowledgeable and fun. The border crossing times were not too bad in either direction.
Enjoy the afternoon with Victoria Falls for both sides of Zimbabwe and Zambia! Amazing Waterfalls and good service.
It was a fantastic experience. Both tour guides were very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Everything run smoothly.
This Victoria Falls experience was great. Thumba was our guide on the Zimbabwe side….he was very helpful and knowledgeable and added to the overall fun of the experience!! The 2 sides look different but equally amazing! I am so glad to have seen both.

I had a great time. I enjoyed the overwhelming view from the Zimbabwe side and the Zambia side. The tour guide took a lot of pictures for me. All the pictures are very nice; it's the best picture for my SNS profile. So I regretted not being able to pay tips, because the tour guide changed after passing immigration. Not only the view, but I also enjoyed seeing cute monkeys. The tour guide and driver were very kind and dedicated. I'm satisfied with the tour.
It was an amazing experience to get so close to the world’s one of the important natural wonders . Thuba was knowledgeable , helpful and made sure we can enjoy the trip thoroughly. As I was a solo traveller, he even helped me taking my photos and videos with patience! Dont forget to take extra pair of slippers or crocs as you will definitely be drenched at some view points . They provide raincoats . As I was wearing shoes Thuba got me a pair of crocs so my shoes doesn’t get wet . The immigration process was smooth . The view of the falls is breathtaking both in Zimbabwe and Zambian sides. Highly recommended trip!
Very friendly guides from both sides Zimbabwe and Zambia were happy to share with us their local knowledge. Totally recommend the experience.... but bring flip-flops and rain coat.
Mike and Thumba are amazing guides, knowledgeable and attentive with us. We had an excellent time, we felt very well taken care of. Good luck to you both
Everything was great, good comunucation and the experience was pretty good, you will get wet for sure so bring your flip flops
It was quite busy the day we visited and we spent some time transferring at the border. I am not sure if you are in Zambia and the falls are full of water that the additional view from Zimbabwe is worth the additional cost. In my opinion the falls are more impressive from Zambia. The guide provided more a walking guide than a guide with information. Some walked themselves but if you are transferring at the border the guide was of assistance.
We did this "both sides" Victoria Falls tour a few days ago as a family with two children, and I would not recommend it. What you actually get: a van ride from your hotel to the park gate, and a man who walks alongside you. There was no meaningful guiding — no commentary, no history, nothing you couldn't get from the signage or a free map. The Zimbabwean-side walk is a well-marked, easy path that any visitor can do independently, and the entrance fees are not included anyway, so you are paying the tour price purely for a lift and company. The bigger problem was information and communication. Crossing to the Zambian side and returning requires a multiple-entry visa. This was never communicated to us — not in the booking, not in the pre-tour information, not by the guide. The listing simply says to "check visa fees," which does not tell a traveller that the tour they have paid for cannot be completed without a specific visa type. We could not complete the crossing, so we did not receive the tour we paid for. Part-way through, the guide told us he had another client to collect and left, instructing us to make our own way back and meet a vehicle at the gate at a set time. We had two children with us and no working phone. Being left at an international border area with no way to contact anyone is not acceptable for a paid, guided product. When we raised all of this with the operator afterwards, the response was defensive and accusatory rather than an attempt to resolve anything. My advice: skip the tour. Walk the falls yourself, pay the entrance fee directly, and if you intend to see both sides, sort out a multiple-entry visa in advance.
Absolutely loved our tours of both sides of the Falls with Prudence (on the Zimbabwean side) and Lucky (on the Zambian side). If you are fortunate enough to have either of these two as your guides, you are set! Even our drivers were delightful.
It was a great day enjoying the Victoria Falls from both Zimbabwe and Zambia. Guides and drivers were really nice and friendly!
Cuckoo picked us up and dropped us at our hotel. Sheldon on the Zimbabwe side and lucky on the Zambia side were excellent guides including helping us through the ancient machinery of Zimbabwe immigration. Highly recommended
I gave this tour a 4 out of 5 due to the pushy nature of the drivers . This was one of the lower scoring tours from our visit to Rwanda, Uganda, South Africa , Kenya and finally the 2 Z countries in Southern Africa . The guides on the Zim and Zam sides were good who provided info, raincoats and walked with us to see the falls . The guides were just meant to drive us 1-2 km to the border from both sides . A very simple job but they were very pushy for tips and were very blatant about it . Hence this marred the experience . Company could be a little bit more responsive as well as they tend to be curt in the responses at give delayed responses which also affects the experiences . In short , the logistics , comms could be better but the guides saved the tour . However as we laid US$100 for the 2 of us for a group tour , paying up to US$40 from expected top is way too much . Even Americans won’t top so much at 40% of the tour price. Hence it was given an average rating as we felt like walking wallets .
Great experience. Vicfalls is great
You will get really really really wet! Lol The Cookoo team did a great job! If you go in the afternoon, you will see the rainbows.
Cilo on the Zimbabwe side was phenomenal and could not recommend him enough. Very lively and entertaining, knowledgeable and always there to help you get “the best memory photo” as he would say lol Only call out is I personally would rather pay the entrance fees baked into the price of the tour. Also driver on Zambia side was 20min late to pick us up
Since the parks still charge you to enter and it’s largely self explanatory and could easily be self guided I was questioning if the tour was necessary while we were on the Zimbabwe side. The ease of taking us to the Zambia side was well worth it in the end though, and that side was maybe even more spectacular. Overall you pay for transportation (which in Zimbabwe is not cheap), rain poncho rentals (essential), and not wasting a second figuring out where to go. As it was on the cheaper side for tours I’d say it was certainly worth it instead of going on your own and of course the falls were absolutely stunning.
Informative, fun and really easy & safe. Really good guides both sides and an easy border crossing (kaza bisa). They provide ponchos but I’m glad I also took ziplocks for my electricals. Most of the trails are dry to damp (in June) but when you’re really close to the falls spray it’s soaking.
My boyfriend and I had a fabulous day trip from Kasane. Victoria falls is unfathomable on its own but to have the guides explain everything just added to the experience. All the guides were so helpful and made the experience seem less even with the border crossings. (Which can often be difficult!) We learnt so much about both Zambia and Zimbabwe and will definitely visit both again. I would highly recommend booking with Cuckoo Safaris. Only note bring cash as card machines at borders are temperamental 😅
Our tour guides and supporting help were fantastic. Ms. Delphister from Zambia and Mr. T from Zimbabwe provided us with a great tour and culture explanation of Victoria Falls. I recommend this tour to anyone.
The tour was very well organised and very well coordinated… Replies to our queries were very prompt and they will update us on the pick up time for the following day.. We were very well taken care of right from the time we landed. Pretty Ms Delphister from Zambia side who pointed out the best picture spots.. We’ll really recommend this tour …
Bring your own rain gear and wear water appropriate footwear! The tour guides were excellent, and the Falls is gorgeous, must see. What fell short was the inclusions, such as the rain coat. We were a group of 4 and each one received a ripped item with missing snaps, which didn't help to keep us dry.
Victoria Falls is truly a natural wonder of the world with unsurpassed beauty and we feel so fortunate to have been able to visit. Our guides Chilo and Lucky were both very knowledgeable, kind and we felt safe with them. Chilo's knowledgeable of the nature park as well as the Galls made our tour all the more interesting and enjoyable. We were able to exchange knowledge about plants and animals along our walk. Lucky was very patient and gave us all tge time we wanted to enjoy the moment and guide us through border control. The drivers were all very welcoming, polite and kind too.
Great tour. Definitely worth a visit to both sides of Victoria falls. I was lucky to have both Brown on the Zimbabwe side and Lucky on the Zambia side. Seamless entry via the immigration with both guides helping out. (Don’t forget to get the Kaza visa if you are looking to do this and a safari in Chobe) Great detail given about the falls from both guides throughout. We saw some people walking the bridge and the long walk to the other side. Lots of vehicles and big trucks on that dirt track, so having a vehicle pick us up on both sides (with air con and water) was just perfect. Brown took us to the ‘Big Tree’ on the way back to our hotel, a 1200 year old Baobab tree. We even saw elephants, monkeys and other wildlife on the way/ way back to our hotel. Me and my wife both felt very much at ease with both guides who helped takes photos of us constantly on both tours and gave us how long we wanted at every view point. Ponchos were provided as well, which were very much needed when we went, as it was the season of high water, so a lot of spray. These guys were great and I highly recommend them.
You’ll read many reviews on this tour that are glowing when it comes to impressions of Victoria Falls. They are all accurate. The Falls are stunning and certainly worth the trip. Just find another operator to guide you. Having booked 50+ tours through Viator, this was one of the worst operators we’ve experienced. They were incredibly dysfunctional and unorganized. We spent at least one and a half hours waiting for the next “hand off”. Expect to be juggled by a minimum of five drivers/guides, etc. At the end of the tour, we stood in a local vendor parking lot for thirty minutes waiting for a van while being shaken down by street vendors. Extremely uncomfortable. Our final tour guide did not have control of the situation. The visa process for getting back into Zimbabwe is a pain and expensive-really not sure it’s worth it. The Falls were much more beautiful from the Zimbabwe side, so would not bother going to Zambia. Tour entrance fees are posted on the site, and add up to more than the cost of the tour. Do yourself a favor and skip the tour fee and see the Falls on your own. If you need a guide, don’t book this one.

We did the Zimbabwe side of falls with Thuba and Zambia side with Mike. Both sides were amazing! Really good at what they do.
We had a great time with Delphister at Victoria falls. Really great to learn about the falls and their history
