Picked up on time from our hotel. Prudence was a great guy, giving his history of the falls. LOVED having her as our guide. Nice to be going during the "off season" so you didn't just see the spray.
It was a breathtaking, once in a lifetime experience and our guide Angel was instrumental in this. Pick up was easy, comfortable and welcoming. Angel lead us through park entrance efficiently with speed, then carefully and clearly briefed us. Her knowledge of the area, its history, origins, the fauna and flora was exceptional. I learned a lot. We are 4 active seniors( two 83 year olds) no mobility issues but nevertheless she was sensitive to our needs and catered accordingly. I predict a great future for her if she continues in the business of guiding wherever. She knows her stuff and is customer focussed.
We were guided around the falls, so we knew where to walk and what to see, but there was not a massive amount of information from the guide. It was more of a direction guide and the transfers from the Lodge to the falls and back. Would I do a visit to the falls this way again, Yes I would. No bad experience, just nothing to blow us away in terms of the guiding. The falls are magnificent though.

The pickup ran about 15 minutes late so we started to worry, but the driver got us to the falls entrance well enough. The guide was good. She has us start at the far end (16) instead of 1 as there were several student groups starting at 1. This was a good move as were avoided the last groups. While she was informative, we do wish she was a bit more enthusiastic. If you are well informed of the falls and viewpoints, you could probably do this yourself, although we did appreciated a bit of individual attention as we were the only 2 in her group. If you go after 2 pm, you'll see more rainbows.
Angel was an amazing tour guide! The views were spectacular. Breathtaking actually. It was a fantastic experience that you must do at least once in your life. 100% recommend to all.

We had a wonderful wander around the falls led by Prudence and safely delivered and returned by Blessing. Strong wind pushing up the gorge gave us a mixture of clear, cloudy and rain saturating views of this amazing place.
We had great time at Victoria falls!! Incredible guide!! Thuba who was our guide was exceptional. He explained us throughout the trip all about Victoria falls. He also made us really comfortable and entertained, sharing all the information about animals and the history.
There was a problem at the scheduled pickup time at our hotel. The company mistakenly scheduled us for their helicopter and Falls tour with the helicopter tour at 8AM followed by the Falls tour at 9AM. I called the contact number and explained the problem. Our tour guide Sunshine showed up 30 minutes later at 8:30AM. Our tour guide was very nice and provided a lot of information during the tour. She made sure we had rain gear (poncho) before we started. Ponchos are available to buy at the entrance if you do not have one. Unless you want to be completely drenched you need to have rain gear. She also provided bottled water during the tour. Victoria Falls is recognized as one of the seven natural wonders of the world. There are 16 viewpoints along a marked path to see the Falls. At viewpoints 10-12 there is so much water falling that it creates a massive mist cloud that comes back up into the air and falls like rain. It felt like we were standing in a heavy rain storm at these viewpoints. Our guide told us that during the rainy season there is so much mist that you cannot see the Falls from these viewpoints. There are wild animals in the park. We saw antelope and vervet monkeys along the path. The tour of the Falls took about 2.5 hours. This is a must see when you come to Victoria Falls.

Our pick-up was 20 minutes late (apparently due to a rail crossing holdup) but once we got to the Park everything worked well. Our guide was good and explained things as we went along. The provided ponchos were an absolute requirement otherwise we would have been soaked! The Falls themselves were absolutely spectacular and definitely deserved the visit. One thing to note is that the Park has put up its entry fee and it’s now $59/adult, not the $50 advertised on TripAdvisor.
Thuba was a very passionate guide who really wanted to explain everything about the falls. He provided us with raincoats, made us nice pictures and helped with slippery stones. Sympathetic guy who gave us the best Vic Falls experience!

Our guide , Chilo, was personable, funny and knowledgeable. Best of all, he knew how to take amazing creative videos & the best spots for pictures. Had we not had him, we wouldn’t have our family pictures - taken so professionally looking. Selfies just don’t do justice in Victoria Falls. We saw several animals which added to the pleasure.

Prudence was so kind, helpful , informative and not rushing us at all which we appreciated. She allowed us time to shop at the end and we got lots of souvenirs!!😎 They were early to pick up which was nice too The falls are beautiful and she is good and gracious at her job
Prudence is an excellent guide. She gives a concise history of the Falls and keeps a good pace throughout the 4 km walk across the ridge adjacent to these magnificent Falls.
Up close to Victoria Fall and got soaked even wearing a rain poncho. What an incredible experience to be that close. Our guide Thuba shared a lot of information with us and was a lot of fun and very entertaining. We did both sides of the falls, first the Zimbabwe side, and then cross the bridge and did the Zambia side. If you’re gonna see the falls, I highly recommend that you do both sides.

Amazing trip. Both Zimbabwean and Zambian guides were perfect. They told the story of the Falls and planned the path perfectly. Delphister from Zambian side is amazing! She took very good pictures of me although I am travelling solo. If you are planning to visit Vic Falls from both sides (and I definitely think you should!), book no other tour than this! Especially if you are traveling solo.
Very happy with this Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe and Zambia) Tour I booked with Cuckoo Safaris. Both guides on either side, Thuba for Zimbabwe and Delphister for Zambia had a wealth of information to share. It makes a lot of difference to my visit and left a good impression of the place. I would to be happy to recommend Cuckoo Safaris to friends based on this experience.
This walking tour is fantastic! We were guided by Prudence and Tatende and we had such a great time. Water was high so we got fully soaked, but we laughed so much it was great. Took 2 hours to see all the viewing points. A must do in Vic Falls.

We had a spectacular experience at the Victoria Falls Rainforest Park, despite the rain and clouds…..with the good natured positivity of our guide Thuba! He was very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs, helping us down slippery stairs and taking marvelous photos, making beautiful memories to return home with, even one with a rainbow over the falls!

We had a great time at Victoria Falls, our tour guid "Thuba" was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, often i would notice him covering my child with his umbrella from the splash back from the falls (which can be intense).... speaks volumes for his personality and character.... he's an absolute credit to the team!
Guide was excellent and knowledgeable, views are amazing. Easy walk. $50/person park entrance fee for Americans is kinda steep though. You could easily do this self-guided, but I wanted a guide because I'm curious and ask a lot of questions.
Yesterday I went to the falls. What an amazing place to visit. I was impressed by the views from the Zimbabwe side as well as the Zambian one🤩🤩🤩. Thuba was my guide. He is so nice and he answered all my questions. 10/10 experience!!
I can not rate this experience enough. I would recommend you take trip of a lifetime. Thuba our guide was very knowledgeable about the waterfalls and surrounding wildlife. He also knew the perfect spots to take pictures. He sense of humor was great and we didn't feel like we had a guide, it felt more authentic just like being with a good friend. Thuba was an incredible tour guide! He was extremely friendly and so much fun. His sense of humour made the time so enjoyable. He was also very knowledgeable about the history of the falls. The tour itself was well planned and ran very smoothly with the transport, purchasing the tickets and crossing the border. And obviously the falls were breath taking!! Highly highly recommended!

I enjoyed the tour It was a hot day and a long walk however , having told the interesting facts and history was a good choice. The guide was great and we had good conversation.
