Travelers will stop at Bunárfoss waterfall, a peaceful waterfall located near the end of Skutulsfjörður close to the Engidalur valley. Surrounded by steep mountains and flowing glacial water, this hidden spot offers a beautiful place to enjoy the scenery and take photos. Guests will have time to explore the area around the waterfall, relax by the stream, and learn about the local nature and landscape of the Westfjords from their guide.
Travelers will ride along the shoreline of Skutulsfjörður, the fjord where the town of Ísafjörður is located. Surrounded by steep Westfjords mountains and calm coastal waters, this scenic stretch offers beautiful views across the fjord and toward the larger Ísafjarðardjúp fjord system. Along the way guests can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the area while learning about local life, fishing traditions, and the unique geography that shaped the town and surrounding landscape.
Travelers will stop at Skarfasker viewpoint, located at the beginning of the historic Óshlíð coastal road. This scenic overlook offers one of the best panoramic views over Skutulsfjörður and the surrounding Westfjords mountains. From the viewpoint guests can take photos, enjoy the dramatic landscape, and learn about the history of the old Óshlíð road, which was once the only connection between Ísafjörður and nearby communities along the fjord.
Fantastic tour & guide, she was so attentive to everyone on the tour and so informative about living in Iceland. We stopped at the most beautiful places and the bikes are new and very high quality.
The was a great way to see the area . The e-bikes were great quality and easy to ride. Cass was a wonderful guide . She taught us so much about life in Iceland . The riding had some small hills however with the e-bikes they were easy to cycle up. We were on a mixture of gravel , grass and paved paths throughout the trip. Cass made sure we were all safe and cared for. Having the helmets with microphones and speakers meant we could all communicate as we rode. It was easy to turn the microphones on and off. Cass gave us a commentary as we rode . There were plenty of stops along the way to see the sights and collect fresh wild berries .
My wife and I were expecting a simple bike ride around Isafjordur to see some nature around the town. We had a fantastic time seeing Isafjordur from the hills around it and getting great commentary from our tour guide, who was very knowledgeable. We are 66 and had a great time. They use peddle-assist bikes, so you have to do some work, but you get great views of the area on a two-hour ride.
I’m a dummy and missed our tour time… but the owner of the shop that supplies the e-bikes was very accommodating. 10/10 recommend doing the tour, or even just renting bikes from the shop in town!

This was a nice way to see Isafjordur and to get outside the town a little. The bikes (e-bikes) were in good condition and our helmets were outfitted with walkie-talkies so we could talk to each other as we rode. Beautiful views throughout. Our guide, Cass, was knowledgeable and super friendly, just great.

One of the best excursions we made during our trip to Iceland. Our guide Cas was knowledgeable, sweet and fun. The bikes are high quality and very easy to ride, even on gravel. The helmets have mics and so you can communicate with each other very easily. Just do it!

E-biking was a great way to see the the Isafjordur area in a small group. The weather was nice and the views were wonderful! Our guide was fantastic! She led us around communicating with us on wireless mics & speakers attached to our helmets. Highly recommend.
Unfortunately our cruise ship cancalled the port of call due to bad weather, i called the to inform Jake that we were not able to make it, he was so gracious and fully refunded our tour tickets. This was a great gesture. Thank you Jake!

We had a wonderful e-bike ride and tour with Cass. She was full of great information and interesting facts. I always felt safe and cared for. Lovely to see parts of Isafjordur I wouldn’t have access to without the tour.
I wish we could convey the wonders of the trip, but the particular MTB tour was on a completely nasty day. One of the larger boats tenders couldn’t leave the ship, so my wife and I were the only remaining standing. Wanting to cancel (and survive from frozen, blowing rain), this positive review was to compliment the way the company handled the cancellation. All good, and we look forward to exploring with them on MTB in the future

Our Guide was fantastic. She was Very good with bike instructions before we began. Lots of great information via the mic and headphones in the helmet. I new rider who has been in our group was nervous and the guide was very patient with her. We were fortunate with great weather and had some amazing views. Highly reccommed

While it may be helpful to be familiar with e-bikes, it isn’t necessary. I cannot recommend this tour enough. Our guide was awesome & knowledgeable. We were able to bike all around the town and the surrounding beautiful landscape. Easily one of the best tours I’ve ever been on!

Fun tour! The weather was chilly and windy so dress for it. The tour was full of history and great sights. Would definitely do it again. I'd just dress warmer. Even got to stop at a fresh water stream and fill up our bottles.
