Verona: Prosecco & Pasta Making Class At Local's Home By Cesarine

We had a wonderful experience with Michela. She is a gracious hostess, an excellent teacher and a delightful person. She provided thoughtful and helpful instruction in the basics of making pasta (as we made it). We also asked her lots of questions about life in Verona. We finished with a delicious meal of the pasta we had made, along with her sauces, and good wine. She gave us all the recipes to take home. Highly recommend!

Our family of 5 (all adults) had a wonderful experience with this cooking class. Michela immediately made us feel welcome in her beautiful home. She explained all the steps clearly and the ingredients and supplies were organized and ready to use when we arrived. The delicious drinks and appetizers were much appreciated! She gave us great suggestions on where to go in Verona and answered all of our questions. I highly recommend this class...you will learn so much and make a new friend in Italy!

Cristiana was fantastic. We found the place easily, she was awaiting us already. We had a wonderful, relaxing time cooking, chatting, having some wine. When coming home from our trip we tried to make the pasta ourselves and it was a succes. Thanks Christiana for such a wonderful workshop!

This was just the adventure we were hoping it would be! Our class took place in Sona, a rural town outside of Verona we'd never been to before. Our "Cesarina," Gigliola, and her English-speaking assistant, Sonia, were thoroughly kind and welcoming, and also fully prepared to give us hands-on instruction in the kitchen. We signed up for this class quite serious about learning how to make fresh pasta, and Gigliola's instruction was straightforward and easy to follow. We made two kinds of pasta (tagliatelle and ravioli) with three different sauces/fillings, and after everything was cooked up, we had a fantastic alfresco lunch of everything we'd just made. The food was genuinely delicious, and we all bonded at the table like family. A really nice touch was that after lunch, kind Sonia offered to drive us to where we needed to be, making our return home super easy. We'll never again be too intimidated to make fresh pasta the old fashioned way, and best of all, this experience was as much about getting to know these generous and talented people as it was about food.

This was a great cooking class with Cristiana in her beautiful house. We made two types of pasta, with simple sauces to go with it, and the food was delicious! Cristiana is a warm and joyful presence, and I felt I had known her for many years. We enjoyed the food in her garden with her partner, friend, dog, chickens, and cat. I would definitely recommend! :)

Cristina is my new favorite person. I had so much fun making pasta and hanging out with her. She was so knowledgeable, personable, kind and all around wonderful. The pasta was amazing and so delicious. I will come back everytime I am in Italy!!

Aurora was very friendly and accommodating and she taught us to make 3 different types of delicious homemade pasta from flour to table. We had a great time and left full and happy. She doesn’t speak English so she had a friend who translated for us. A very enjoyable meal and a real learning experience. I recommend!

What a nice experience this was. We learned to make the dough with 2 different kind of flower. With some history of pasta making we dit it the traditional way, just with ours hand. We made Tagliatelle and Tortellini with a filling of 4 leftover ingredients. We ate the whole thing, mmmm... . I'll never going to buy pasta again that i can make myself. Thank you very much and i will look for new recipes on you website.

My host, Aurora, was fantastic—so kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. She made me feel relaxed and engaging. The Prosecco added an extra touch of fun, making it a truly memorable experience. The best experience in my entire life, food was amazing, but the people in the house were the main stars, they were amazing hosts, and Cristina was the best teacher I’ve ever had.

This was one of our best experiences in Verona. Michela is like your Italian Aunt who invites you for dinner. She’s a trained chef with zero pretentiousness and she’ll start you with wine and cheese in her living room as you all get to know each other. Then it’s off to her kitchen where you physically make three types of pasta from scratch. We made Tagliatelle, Potato Gnocci and Spinach and cheese Ravioli (and she’ll customize the menu to your liking). Then, after the cooking is done, you’ll sit at her dining room table with her (the best part) and just have an amazing meal. (And she had some incredible pomodoro, pesto and brown butter/sage sauces). She finished it with a home made apple tort that was amazing. You’ll have a great experience, an even better meal and you WILL go home feeling confident that you can make your own pasta from scratch at home (with her written recipes in hand). Best money I’ve spent on a Viator purchase. Do it. You won’t be sorry. 🙌❤️

The cooking class with Micheala was wonderful. She was patient and thoughtful throughout the session. We made pasta and a dessert. She (more importantly) taught us the details and nuance of making pasta. It was truly a joyful experience. I would highly recommend this cooking class.

We had an amazing experience and are so glad we chose to do this. 10/10 recommend. Michela welcomed us into her home and right away was so kind, she had drinks and snacks prepared. She was so lovely and so passionate about cooking and taught us so much! She was so accomodating and gave us options and was constantly checking on us. We felt so welcome and comfortable doing this in her home and had such a great time getting to know her, cooking, and enjoying the food we prepared. She prepared a couple extra things for us to try before and after, she really spoiled us. We cannot thank her enough for the beautiful evening and really appreciate her opening up her home and teaching us!

This was one of the best experiences of my life! I've always wanted to take a cooking class and no better place than Italy! Cristiana was absolutely amazing! She was so warm, welcoming, and truly made us feel like we were home. She explained things and made it so easy to learn. We plan on making pasta from scratch all the time now! Such a heart warming, once in a lifetime experience Michela gave to our family, She welcomed us into her beautiful home with wine and local cheeses and homemade brushcetta. She showed us pasta making magic! It was so much fun, we enjoyed learning from a true local, professional chef. She taught us via hands on the meticulous technique of colored pasta, roasted tomatoes, sauce, as well as a wonderful a dessert. Not only did we learn, we enjoyed eating the fabulous dinner we cooked including Michela's "family cake!" AND we made a friend that we will remain in contact with.

I had high expectations and our host Michela exceeded them all! We had a very pleasant evening in which she patiently and carefully taught us how to make delicious Gnocchi, Fetuccine and Ravioli dishes from scratch. A must do experience for anyone visiting Verona and if I have the opportunity I will definitely do it again

Michaela was a wonderful host to our family, including our 14 year old son. She was very helpful in teaching us how to make homemade pasta and gave us an unforgettable , authentic experience to remember from our Italian vacation . We highly recommend this activity !

My wife and I were lucky enough to experience pasta-making with Michela in her home. She was incredibly welcoming, friendly and patient. We made tagliatelle, ravioli and gnocchi. Michela then talked us through how to cook or store them, turned our creations into great food and supplied a local wine and antipasti. Michela answered whatever questions we had and provided written copies of the pasta. I was a little uncertain of the price beforehand, but it was worth every penny.

Aurora was superb! She welcomed us in to her lovely home, and treated us as one of her own! We made fresh Gnocchi, Tagliatelle and Tirimasu, all of which was explained and demonstrated clearly, best of all we got to eat all of this with Sauce, freshly made by aurora. And partnered with delicious local wines. We ran well over time, chatting after dinner with Aurora and her brilliant assistant, we had a lovely evening. We will be back the next time we're in verona! We were visiting on our honeymoon, and Aurora even bought us a beautiful traditional Italian wedding present, such a lovely touch! 100% reccomend!

Can't say enough about this experience...pricey, but well worth it. We made 5 different pastas that were all approachable and memorable. Chef Michela was lovely, humble, prepared, effervescent, and knowledgeable. A four course dinner followed this pasta making exercise which blew all other meals away...it's a must do.

I gave my daughter the cooking class as a surprise and what can I say.... It was a wonderful evening at and with Cristiana. She is so warm, you feel welcome and you feel her passion for cooking. We learned a lot and had a lot of fun. Cristiana could also answer all our many questions. Back home we immediately put our new cooking skills into practice and it was soooo delicious. This unique experience will remain forever in our memory. Thank you dear Cristiana for the wonderful hours with you.

We stayed at Aurora's house, a truly special welcome, we felt at home, with a friend. We made gnocchi together, he pampered us and taught us many things. I recommend everyone to have an experience with her; Aurora and her husband entered our hearts; a thank you is not enough!!!
