It was great! A lot of food! Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, she was very willing to answer all our questions.

Sooooo cool. Aurora is amazing. We were a small group in fact just our family and she waited for us because there was a train delay coming in from Florence We were a few minutes late. She kept in touch with me via WhatsApp as I was letting her know what was happening. We arrived and we started off the tour. She talked a lot about Verona and about the wine drinking and then we went to a really nice place for the first job which was breakfast and then we had a second stop which was prosciutto and cheese and a very delicious white wine. We were too full for lunch honestly but we went to a restaurant. I had the lasagna. I just loved the tour because Verona is one of my favorite cities and walking with Aurora I learned so much. Excellent talk guy. Verona is great.

It was a wonderful walking tour that included the story of Romeo and Juliet. Laura was wonderful in telling the story and the history of Verona and her partner Melissa was great as well!!! We had wonderful food and wine (wine was local to Verona)so it gave us a little bit of everything all in one tour. We throughly enjoyed it.

Laura was an excellent guide. She made us feel very welcome on arrival and was very informative and good fun. The walking tour was a great way to see Verona and see things we would have missed if Laura had not pointed them out. The food stops were excellent choices...more food on offer than we thought so it's good that we chose the longer walking tour 😂 Great value for money. Would highly recommend. Thanks Laura. X

Would highly recommend this. Our guide Laura made it all the more enjoyable.She was very entertaining and knowledgeable about Verona, the food and wine. Her love for good food really came across as we walked around Verona tasting all the local delights it had to offer. She was an absolute joy to spend a few hours with listening to the love story of Romeo and Juliet as it unfolded through out our tour.This is definitely one of the highlights of our trip.

We had a lovely time with our guide on a gastronomical storytelling tour of old town Verona! What a delight being brought to charming places that felt like hidden gems all while learning about the city and Italian culture. We enjoyed the ambience, stories, the food and drinks. Come hungry to this tour, there will be plenty of treats! The tips and tricks about what to do and see even beyond the tour was also much appreciated. Great experience, good value for the money – highly recommended!

We had a great time with our guide showing us around the historical center of Verona! We especially appreciated all the different types of local food and wine we got to taste and felt comfortable asking about the most basic questions about Italian and local culture. It was also nice to have the story of Romeo and Juliet as a red straw throughout the tour. Great experience, we highly recommend it!

This tour was love at first bite! Anita and Sofia were incredible guides, including not only fascinating information about the setting of Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet,” but also sharing Verona’s history, culture, and many other local hidden gems. The food and wine were outstanding, with each stop offering something unique to the area. This English teacher foodie absolutely loved every minute! After a day filled with amazing food, history, and laughter, I couldn’t help but think that if Romeo and Juliet had taken this tour, Verona’s most famous love story might have had a different ending.

What a wonderful experience today was! We learned about the history and beauty of Verona while the most famous love story ever written was woven into the fabric of our day! And then, to also experience true Veronese culture with food and wine in some of the most tucked away spots was such a delight! Anita went above and beyond to make our journey through Verona so special! We will definitely book again, both here and in her other cities! Truly a cultural and gastronomic time!

My friend asked me to come along on this food tour and it sounded fun, but I was a little nervous as I am not a very adventurous eater. I'm sooo glad I went! Anita and Joseph were lovely and very accommodating around some of my food intolerances, so I was able to taste plenty of great foods that I otherwise probably never would have ordered for myself! I truly had such a great time, I will be joining some of their other food tours in other cities in the future for sure 😃

We had a great experience on this tour. The food choices were all amazing spots and places that were off the beaten path. We felt we were able to see a lot of the city during the tour as well. Anita, our tour guide, made it fun and enjoyable!

Anita was authentic and relayed to us her love for food, wine & Verona. The “acts” of the Romeo & Juliet story tied in nicely at each stop along the way. Choice of venues (little hidden gems) and food selection was perfecto! Highly recommended!

Had a blast on this walking food and wine tour of Verona, the famed city of Romeo and Juliet. We sampled a bunch of local delicacies—including regional wines I hadn’t come across before. One delight was wine/cheese/panini shop a stone’s throw from the Arena that somehow was free from the city’s Saturday crowds. A spot full of delicious things, and one we would never have come across without this tour—truly, one of those overlooked, hidden gems! The group of people on the tour was also a fun mix, and we had a great time chatting with our fellow food lovers, sharing stories about our experiences in Verona and Italy at large, and making some new friends. Highly recommend.

Wow! What a great way to enjoy a Saturday afternoon - meeting new friends - touring and learning about Verona in a small group - sampling the local food and wine at a beautifully relaxed pace!! The guides are delightful and fluent in English; the food is delicious and not overwhelming; and the wines are local and extraordinary. If you’re looking for simple, authentic, and yummy - and fun!, then this is the tour for you!

Unfortunately, the tour did not take place despite booking and confirmation. When no one appeared at the meeting point even 15 minutes after the agreed time, I contacted the organizer. They informed me there that the tour was not taking place and that they had forgotten to notify me. Very annoying when you only have one day in Verona, especially since it was then much too late to book something else. In short: It can happen, but it is not nice and therefore unfortunately not recommended.
