We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Farina winery. The facility is beautifully maintained and the tour mixed learning about the winery’s history with art and interesting stories. The wine itself was well worth the visit, and very reasonably priced. I can’t recommend this experience enough. A special thank you to Nicole for her excellent tour and spending time chatting with us.
We spent a few days in Elgin/Sonoita and had such a lovely time. All the wineries except Flying Leap were friendly, accomodating and quite eager to share info about the area, their wines and history of the region. The Flying Leap person was rude and abrupt so we left and went to Twisted Union, which was a completely amazing and tasty experience. Bought a few bottle of their wine and even joined their club. Hops and Vines were also a unique and bright spot of wine, art and music. We spent a couple days tasting, buying wine for home and just enjoying the great air, views, nightime sky and various barn cats (we stayed in a very cool cottage called Starry Night). No internet (how lovely) and a couple days away from the news, work and everything else. Can't wait to go again.
Travelled by bus (103) from Verona centre for my wife's birthday treat. Although out of season, it was great fun. Our Tour Guide was really friendly, knowledgeable, and made our experience really great fun. Good value, lovely wine, and a great day out.
Friendly and welcoming staff and lovely atmosphere! Knowledgable guide with lots of opportunities to ask questions on the tour even though it was out of season. Amazing facilities and lovely to see the old/traditional side alongside ultra modern facilities. Chance to try 6 wines with meats and cheese. The tour was good value for the price. The wine to buy is also a reasonable price with no pressure to purchase. Easy to get to from Verona by car or we went on the bus 103.
A great afternoon out! It was super easy to get to on the bus from Verona. The wine was delicious and the meat and cheese pairings were great! Could not recommend more!
Nice tour even though it got a bit delayed, but we got some wine while we were waiting. The tasting was interesting and we got enough of each wine. Good value for the money. Easy to take the bus from Verona too.
The Vineyards were beautiful. We tasted 6 wines and all were spectacular. We got to taste 3 Amarone wines. They were delicious.
We had a wonderful time! The property was beautiful and we loved tasting the different wines and paired meats and cheese!
Family vineyard exploring new techniques while acknowledging its past. Our guide Nicole was great and the wine tasting was excellent. An enjoyable and informative tour.
Great place in a quiet area. It was very easy to get there by bus from the Verona old city. Very modern vineyard. Our guide was very nice! We had a tasting of 6 wines which were served with cold cuts. Highly recommend!
We visited on a tour but you can go on your own. Really interesting as they are experimenting with ceramic and cement vats. For the tasting we had wine and cheese to accompany. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Shipping within Europe very reasonable.
What a magnificent cellar, with great values and a top-notch welcome (thanks Chiara!). The vines are cultivated with respect, blending traditions and innovations. The premises are welcoming, the tour is very interesting. The tasting-meal was great, complemented by the discovery of 6 wines. It was a very beautiful evening!
Winery visit with a tasting of six wines, everything was very nice and compliments to Andrea for his professionalism in guiding us through this experience.
A beautiful Monday experience at Farina Wines. The staff was very welcoming, as was the young man who accompanied us to the vineyard, the cellar, and the tasting. Perfect food pairing, even with desserts! Price (55 euros) per person was very fair!
Very nice and well-kept cellar, well done guided tour. Excellent food and wine tasting, well organized and with high quality products... really super Amarone risotto. Wines of excellent quality.... Of course. Highly recommended
Very nice, modern and very well organized winery, with a lot, a lot of history behind it. The visit. interesting, was very well organized and equally guided. The tasting then lived up to expectations: 6 different wines with excellent cheeses and cold cuts from the area.... and finally a superlative risotto all'amarone. Good, good... Thank you Farina Family, keep it up!!
The guided tour lasts about two, is clear and with adequate timing. Tasting in a comfortable environment with excellent wines and guidance carried out by a competent oenologist. Satisfied!! We will definitely return..
Ci è piaciuto conoscere il mondo del vino attraverso le spiegazioni fornite e la degustazione finale. Ambiente molto gradovole e hostess disponibile.
Beautiful place, courteous and accurate staff, rich tasting. They also gave us a magnum of Rosso for listening to the tour in English. Fantastic.
Molto interessante la visita all’interno della cantina e la degustazione ottima così come anche la spiegazione della guida
Very interesting and informative. The wines are excellent. Great presentation. We will recommend the wines.
The company is very beautiful and avant-garde despite being operational for many years. The current owners are the 4th generation. Silvia, who welcomed us and guided us throughout the experience was very kind and professional. Absolutely recommended, good wines and well explained. Try it!
Esperienza veramente consigliata! Giro fra i vigneti e all’interno della cantina con spiegazione precisa ma senza troppa “pesantezza”. Degustazione con spiegazione annessa di 6 vini prodotti in cantina con salumi e formaggi.
Very nice wine tasting with interesting walking tour. Previously never seen modern storage techniques in cement or ceramic containers. Excellent wines accompanied by delicious ham and delicious cheese. For our teenager, a grape juice would have been nice. But otherwise everything just fit!
We received as a gift for my wife's birthday a tasting at this winery and it was a great experience. Tour started from the vineyards, continued in its historical part and finally the new and modern one. We tasted 7 wines and it was very interesting and instructive to travel from the "simple" Valpolicella to the structured Amarone 2014. Pairing with a cutting board of cold cuts and cheeses from the area very good. Obviously we left after buying some bottles and in particular an Amarone 2017 to be uncorked in quite a few years for a special occasion.
Ottima esperienza. Azienda che sposa perfettamente la produzione con modalità tradizionali alle nuove tecniche di produzione vinicola. Prodotti validissimi.
Excellent guide a young man, missed jurist, who chose the bucolic way of the vineyard. Elijah guided us through vineyards and barrels in an excellent way. Silvia made us appreciate local cheeses and cold cuts accompanied by their wines, above all I recommend the Ripasso and Amarone family.
I visited Cantina Farina with a friend. In the company of Silvia, excellent host, we visited the vineyards, the cellar and the barrels. At the end of the visit an excellent tasting of six wines paired with exquisite cheeses and typical cold cuts. The shop is new, welcoming, modern and refined. The wines are excellent and the hospitality Service impeccable, with a lot of attention to the guest. If visiting Valpolicella I highly recommend stopping by Farina.
The love for what you do has an extraordinary strength and what the Farina family is doing is truly extraordinary. Over the years this reality is growing and in addition to selling its wines all over the world, it has also built a Welcoming facility that leaves you speechless. The executive offices have the elegance of those of an American multinational, the tasting room, brand new, puts those who arrive at ease, even if it is the first time, with its comfortable spaces, the display of all the products of the house, the absolute kindness of the staff that receives. If you are lucky enough to go downstairs, in the cellar, you will be amazed. A real secular cathedral with the brand new concrete barrels, elegant tables, a play of lights that makes everything magical.
Tour of the company with explanation of many very interesting family and business anecdotes. Company in the fourth generation of winemakers today still growing. Company very neat and clean. Excellent wines and very interesting value for money. Excellent tasting with I cold cuts and local cheeses. Silvia who took care of the very prepared passionate and professional visit. I had a great time and I learned a lot about valpolicella. I hope to return soon. Elena.
Tour of the Valpolicella wineries thanks to a beautiful initiative consisting of 5 routes. We decided to try this winery and were pleasantly satisfied. Beautiful estate, which flanks the old part with a new modern part. In tasting there were 4 wines (red), the very very good review, I bought two bottles, and closed the box I decided to try in Lugana (we will see). I will definitely keep this winery in mind, and why not, come back to taste the wide range of wines.
The visit to the Azienda Farina is worth more than a couple of hours of your day in Valpolicella. The reasons are different: Silvia, who will take you by the hand from the first moment with her kindness, sympathy and lively intelligence in telling you about the company, from the roots of the territory, to winemaking techniques, to tasting The cellar, a marvel of tradition and technical innovation. Special mention to the moving concrete barrels , you will feel like entering a museum of modern art The wines, proposed in a tasting room flooded with light, in which to relax, refine the palate and listen to Silvia's expert explanation. Personal special mention to the Review. And then everything else. You will certainly be happy with the choice
Orgasmic, cavernous. A beautiful experience complete and accessible to everyone. Possibility of purchasing wines. Great tastings and good selection of cutting board.
fantastic experience, we thank Silvia who welcomed us as if we were old friends and we immediately put at ease showing all his professionalism, the wines are worth tasting, all excellent as well as grappa and food accompanying , excellence of the territory, experience definitely to be redone in autumn
Beautiful tasting, accompanied by the brilliant Silvia, who transmits all her passion for "her "wines we tasted 6 wines, starting from the particular knot of love, a blend of 3 wines with Sauvignon that predominates in taste and nose, passing through the classic Valpolicella, Ripasso Amarone and Recioto, all well-made wines with a clean taste and nose not always guaranteed, note of merit to Amarone, the soft base and to be combined with the whole meal and the family with an enveloping bouquet and a brlla length
