We were only in Verona for a day trip and were looking for a shorter guided tour to give us some insight on the city. This tour was exactly what we were looking for. Francesco was a self-proclaimed history nerd and provided lots of interesting information to help us understand a bit more about beautiful Verona.

Wonderful tour. Guide was exceptionally thorough with information. We learned so much about Verona past and present ! Romeo and Juliet is not all Verona holds.

Francesco was very knowledgeable and passionate about Verona. We had a small group, which made it easy to communicate with him. The downside was he was filling in for another tour guide and had to cut our tour a bit short. Still, we’re glad the tour wasn’t canceled. We enjoyed getting to learn about Verona.

Our tour guide was outstanding! We went on Saturday, April 27 at 1:45pm We would highly recommend as he was knowledgeable, engaging and kind! He gave my Dad lots of attention and answered all his questions. I think the fact that he was a professor and he’d been doing these tours for 25 years made a huge impact!

Spectacular tour, incredible tour guide Maria Pia. Must do your, not only do you see incredible sights, you learn about the history, architecture and culture of Verona as well as the true story of Romeo and Guilett. Tour guide was engaging, enthusiastic and a great story teller. Must do tour.

Maria led a wonderful tour and kept my teenagers captivated the entire time with her excellent story telling skills about the city sights. We could only spend a few hours in Verona but I feel like we saw the main sights and would like to return to Verona in the future for a longer stay. It was a lovely city with great history.

Francesco (Frank) did a great job of sharing lots of Verona history along with sites related to Romeo & Juliet. He mentioned some other things we might like to see after our tour, as well.

Arrived at 1.45pm for a 1 hour 15 min tour. We met Maria a lovely lady who was so passionate in her love for Verona. We stopped for several minutes at various places where she gave us a wonderful insight into the history of the arena and lots of other sites. There could have been a maximum of 10 but we were just a four. Another couple from Canada. We actually finished at 3.15. Would highly recommend this tour.

Our guide Maria was a fantastic storyteller. She’s energetic, animated, and lots of fun! We learned interesting facts about architecture of different centuries, and among other things. My family enjoyed the tour. I do, however, agree with some reviews that the name of the tour is misrepresenting as Romeo and Juliet is only a very small part of the tour at the end.

Our tour guide Maria was sweet and very knowledgeable about her city of Verona. We enjoyed strolling the streets of Verona, learning not just about Romeo and Juliet, but also about the history of the city. If you want to visit Juliet's house, we would recommend scheduling a visit right after the tour ends.

The tour guide was truly outstanding. She imparted significant information about Verona, while telling stories in a very entertaining manner. She was terrific.

Our tour guide was very passionate and overall fun to listen to. You start the tour in the square, walk past the arena, and walk in corridors until you end up in the piazza. From there you visit both Romeo & Juliet's houses. We were able to skip the long line to get into Juliets courtyard quicker. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because the title is a little misleading. While we did cover Romeo & Juliet near the end, the first 45-60 mins of the tour had nothing to do with it. While I still enjoyed it, some expressed frustration. Still recommended tour, but if you only care about Romeo & Juliet you may want to look at another tour.

Our guide was not the best we've had at different locations around the world. He liked the sound of his own voice. We were expecting individual headsets so we could all hear him talk through a mic , but no he had to gather us all together at different locations to give us a group talk.

The tour lady was animated and told lots of great stories to keep our attention. Unfortunately it was rainy and cold so was difficult at times to stand but overall a good experience.
