The hotel was lovely and the staff friendly and helpful. Nice choice for breakfast everyday and the food was fresh. Having the pool was great, especially in the heat while we were there, and often we had it to ourselves or with only another couple. It’s €15 per week per person to use the pool area but we were happy to pay that. You get given fresh towels when you use it and get 2 hours per day. The location was good - easy to get a bus into Verona (and cheap!) but there were no local restaurants - you needed a car to eat out in the evening. There was a shop nearby so we aimed to eat at lunchtime when out then have crackers and cheese in our room in the evening. We did use the onsite restaurant a couple of times but there was a very limited vegetarian menu and a lack of basic meals, though the ones that came out for others looked amazing. We also went to a cafe in Azzano park that served pizzas, panni’s and drinks. That had a nice atmosphere on a Sunday night as they had a DJ playing music through the summer months. Overall we enjoyed our stay, although the hotel location was quiet we liked it, peak summer holidays and still a calm atmosphere.

The hotel has a beautiful ambience and lovely outdoor space. But there were a few things I thought would need improvements. The room was decent with a view but the shower space within the bathroom was definitely a big no for me. It was just cramped and didn't give me space at all. Couldn't understand why it needed to be that cramped. And one other thing I wasn't pleased was about the pool usage. Though the pool was part of the hotel I was asked to pay 15 euro to use it and also I could only use it only for 2 hours in a day. I just couldn't understand it at all. People come for holidays to relax and enjoy the pool and you can't restrict people to use it. And it was not mentioned while booking the hotel as well. The staff were friendly and helpful to book taxi when needed. And had to wear the bar staff hat when we needed a drink. Thank you to the staff who were running around helping. The breakfast is really nice and caters a variety of breakast items includes fresh fruits and yummy pasteries. We loved it. The in house restaurant doesn't do lunch and does dinner but it is on the expensive side. Also, there are a couple of pizza places in 2 mins walking distance from the hotel and the ice cream place was just lush. We had some lovely flavours every evening. There is one bus that takes you to the town and it's every 30 mins and takes about 30-40 mins to get you to the main town. So, if you don't have a car and don't want to take a taxi, plan your day trips.
This hotel feels as maybe a 3 star, yet its rated a 4 star (somehow). The breakfast was poor with the same thing every day, and no hot food except eggs. The staff were nice, but the pool seems to be included until you check in, when they say you need to book timeslots and also pay to use it. We were told our room was ready, but upon entering, it wasn't, and there were cans and rubbish everywhere. I told reception and they apologised; the lady got the cleaners to clean it properly and split the bed into two singles. The building is very old and you can tell, and feel it. The hotel is very far away from Verona or any major restaurants, needing a 25-minute bus ride each way to reach there or the nearest train station. So if you want to reach places such as Lake Garda or Venice, you gotta get the bus to the city, walk to the train station, and catch the train. Taxis are mega expensive to the city, as are Ubers, so your only realistic option is the bus. Luckily, the bus stop is a 2-minute walk away from the hotel, and Google Maps shows you where and when the buses run, although the hotel staff showed us too. Overall, it's not what we were expecting considering the 'VIP ACCESS' label and near-perfect reviews. The entire hotel also seems to be run by about 3 people, excluding the cleaners. It was nice, but we won't be returning to this hotel for the reasons mentioned.
I'm giving it 3 stars because it is what it is. A 3 star hotel that is regarded as a 4 star. The rooms are very tiny (not even saying the size of the shower that was microscopic and broken), the breakfast, though nice, definately not a 4 star hotel breakfast. The bread was only 2 sorts and the rolls were little and dry. The thing that bothered me the mlst is that they have a price of 15 euros per person to use the swimming pool for 2 hours. If you want to stay more time, you have to pay more. And that was not on the ad. So it was kind of disappointing.
We came to Verona for a short getaway, and our stay was truly special. The hotel was perfect, and what made it even more memorable was the exceptional staff, who couldn’t do enough for us from the moment we arrived until the day we left. Although the hotel is situated around 25 minutes from the centre of Verona, the staff were incredibly helpful in explaining the local bus route. There is a bus stop just down the road from the hotel, with a direct connection to the train and bus station, making it easy to get around. A special mention must go to Tiziana. On our final day, we had to leave early for our flight and were unable to have breakfast, but she kindly prepared a food package for our journey. It was such a thoughtful gesture and perfectly reflected the level of care and hospitality we experienced throughout our stay. We would definitely return and would like to thank everyone for making our visit so enjoyable. Highly recommended!
