Venice: Private Romantic Gondola Ride Under The Bridge Of Love

We had such a wonderful experience in Venice! The gondola ride was beautiful and truly unforgettable, but what made the experience even more special was Alexandre, the director. He went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time in the city, sharing excellent local recommendations and suggesting amazing places to eat. Even after our gondola ride, he remained available whenever we needed advice or assistance. His kindness, professionalism, and personal attention made us feel genuinely looked after. A fantastic experience that we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Venice!

The gondola ride was lovely, but what really made the difference was the service from Alexandre, the director. He gave us so many great tips for the rest of our stay and recommended some fantastic restaurants. We contacted him a few more times during our trip and he was always incredibly helpful. The gondola was great, but the personal concierge service really made our stay in Venice extra special. Everything was very well organized. The meeting point was easy to find, the staff were there on time and very helpful. The gondola route through the quiet canals behind St. Mark’s Square was beautiful. A smooth and enjoyable experience from start to finish.

We had a great time! Our gondolier was really friendly and answered all our questions about the Bridge of Sighs and the beautiful palaces we passed along the way. It made the ride both relaxing and really interesting. The welcome was also very friendly, and having the gondola booked in advance with no waiting around was a big plus. Definitely recommend !!!

We did this gondola ride as a family and absolutely loved it! The welcome was warm and very professional, and our gondolier was so friendly. The highlight was gliding through the San Marco basin — the view of St. Mark’s Square from the water was amazing. Such a lovely experience for the whole family. 😃

Such a relaxing gondola ride! We especially loved the beautiful little canals behind St. Mark’s, away from the crowds. A lovely surprise was receiving our photos on WhatsApp from the director the next day. Such a nice personal touch and wonderful memories to keep!

This was supposed to be a romantic gondola ride, but we were placed with a few people in our boat due to over crowding in the gondola area. Not only that but there were so many gondolas on the route we had that, our boat and others could hardly move through the canals. Also when we first arrived to the tour guide office the person at the front desk was talking on his cell phone, and never once got off even while taking the group down to the gondola entrance in the water. And a lady asked a question and he made her wait until his conversation on the phone was pause able. Overall it was very similar if we just took a canoe out ourselves onto the lake and decided to turn around 15 minutes in. we we’re very disappointed in this experience.

Actually going through the Venice canals was beautiful. But this is sold as a romantic gondola ride and they split your party up. My husband and I ended up sitting on opposite sides with strangers in the middle. I understood it was shared when booking, but there should be some sort of note stating that your party will be split up.

Gondolier was kinda of an A-hole Barking orders, not friendly or informative Never described any sites or ANYTHING Whistling a stupid tune over and over

Not a romantic trip, but still fun nonetheless. Riding a gondola through Venice is an iconic must-do, however next time we will be booking a private tour. We were sitting very close to other strangers, knees touching and all which is not romantic like advertised. I saw one couple even got split up and forced to go into separate gondolas. My husband and I were happy because we got the “good” seats, but if you don’t get those seats then I’d imagine the experience isn’t as nice🥲

Perfect experience, we passed through the small canals and the bridge of the suspires, exceeded our expectations!
