Itinerary
Meeting point 30 min before in riva degli Schiavoni. Depart from either the St. Mark's Square area and begin your journey. Board a panoramic boat and leave towards the northern part of the lagoon.
Departing from Venice, we take you across the lagoon for visiting the three Islands of the Venetian Lagoon: Murano, Burano and Torcello. Multilingual live tour commentary provided in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish during the boat trip between each island.
The first stop will be Murano Island, famous for its glass production and picturesque views. Here, have the chance to visit a glass factory and observe a local artist giving shape to a glass piece of art. Let yourself be amazed by Murano Island, but also remember to get back in time to the boat to leave for the next highlight.
The next stop is Burano Island, famous for its colorful houses. Apart from being a paradise for photography lovers, it is home to a long tradition of lace production. Enough free time will be left to stroll around the island and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere that can still be found here.
(If option is selected) Torcello is the last island, known as the Mother of Venice. You have the chance to visit the Basilica, which is one of the oldest in the Lagoon and holds some beautiful mosaics, or maybe visit the museum. If not you can just spend your time walking around this enchanting and very historical island. With eyes full of beauty and camera cards full of memories to cherish, you will then catch your motorboat ride back to Venice.

Beautiful islands, lovely boat ride, excellent guides. This was my second time and it was still delightful.
Really easy to book and a great day out. Good knowledgeable guide and three different islands. Would like to have a longer stay on Murano otherwise perfect.
Get detailed and clear instructions on getting to the correct location to meet!! Very POOR! Took an extra 45 min. We made it as they held the boat for us. Went back and forth across many bridges. Address was wrong we had to walk and walk!
Torcello was a quick visit and really not much to see besides the church. I would skip this stop and spend the extra time in Burano instead.
Amazing tour!! Murano and Burano are two unique and beautiful towns which our tour guide explained well in detail and we got to experience. It would be better if there was more time in Burano as we only had less than an hour and a half which wasn’t enough time to explore the whole place!!
Not a tour, use this as a water taxi to make your life easier as it doesn’t give you much information apart from what time you need to get back on the boat. Had 45 mins free time in Murano & 1 1/2 hours in Burano
Easy and very interesting tour ! Glass show at Murano was exceptional!! Burano is also an amazing place to go. Thanks
Burano and Murano are worth visiting, although touristy! Mostly this tour is transport and free time, not guided or history knowledge. Should include access to lace museum. Torcello is not worth it, access to church not included. Too much free time, consider water bus to make your own schedule.
We missed the tour as we had trouble finding our way around. We were very sad as we were so looking forward to it
This was so cool! I could have stayed at the glass factory watching demonstrations all day. And of course Burano is so beautiful and colorful. Highly recommend
It’s very hot in July so take some water and a fan! Burano is exceptionally beautiful. I’m so glad we took this trip!
The islands were good and worth the visit. We didn't have enough time on Murano island and if you wanted to get lunch on Burano island then you'd need more time there too. It was a very hot day when we did our tour and it would have been nice if the boat sold cold drinks. Overall the trip was good and the islands were lovely to visit, I'd recommend getting a water bus/taxi to the islands if you want to have more free time there and not feel rushed.
This tour is fantastic. This is all you need to visit the Murano, Burano &Torcello islands while you are staying in Venice. The boat delivers you to each island one by one, with approximately 1.5-2 hours of free time to do your shopping, explore, and walk around. On the way to each island, a multilingual guide tells you some facts and history about them. Excellent tour!
Murano glass demonstration was short but amazing. Burano island with the lace making and restaurants was fabulous
Very professional, well organized, properly informed but in the same time friendly, a pleasant experience, thank you!
Burano was a superb visit could have stayed much longer Muranon was a shepherd visit into a glass blowing demo and then into their gift shop no real time for other activities
Great tour guide and experience. Not enough time in each island, I would recommend the water taxi and move at your own pace.
It was pouring with rain and very windy and we knew the tour was not going to be good but they would not cancel it for us and give us a refund so I’m not impressed at all. I would never go through them again. We had a baby with us and the water was choppy and pouring with rain.
It was the most enjoyable boat ride to both Burano and Murano. We watched a man make a glass vase and horse and bought a glass necklace and earrings set. In Murano we had a lovely walk through the colourful town and shops. Lovely day
It's fantastic...arrive at the meeting point early to avoid unnecessary stress...the guide and beat staff are very helpful and friendly
Great tour to multiple islands, a great way to see more than the Main Square. The only thing I would change is spending more time at each stop
I was skeptical given some of reviews, but it delivered what was promised. Boat transfers and time on the three islands totaling 6 hours. Perfect amount of time on each island for me!
This trip was a wonderful experience. Visiting the colorful neighborhood of Burano was beautiful, though I do wish there had been more store options. During the Murano tour, I just wished we had more time to explore and experience the town. Overall, the boat ride and both locations made for a great experience that we were able to share with family.
This tour made island hopping very easy!! We enjoyed each island. A little more time on Borona would have been nice, but other than that it was a nice tour. Great staff.
The Murano stop was slightly dissapointing with only one stop at a commercial business and not the opportunity to look around the island. The Burano stop was free time to wander around. We did the afternoon trip and as a result we got to see the sunset on the lagoon which made for a stunning experience and a highlight of the trip. It is worth doing but dont expect too much.
Nice trip. 2 islands, takes care of half a day, everyone gets a seat. Toilet on the boat. Nice on deck on a good day, wrap up for cold but there is an indoor area. Glass factory tour and demonstration, do not expect to see anything else of the Morano Island. The Burano Island was beautiful and with lots of shops and coffee stops. Loved it!
All involved were helpful and professional. It was a great experience traveling by boat and the tour was interesting and amazing.
It’s great to be able to see a glass blower do a demonstration and be able to shop however it was difficult to understand the translator aboard the boat trip. Would have been nice to hear descriptions of the islands.
Well organised and timing was accurate. Time to explore some of the islands. Good value for money. A full day’s excursion. Might not choose to visit Torcello if I was booking again.
You do get to see all 3 islands which would be much more difficult by vaporetto but because you go to all 3 the time is rushed on each one
Tour guide and sailors were great. One couple was late getting back to Boston in Murano but they waited, which is not the norm. Once you step off boat in Murano you are introduced to the art of Glass blowing. Pretty mind blowing! Lunch was in Burano where all the different Bright colored houses. Torcello, where it all started. Lush wooded island and vineyards abound here. I would have liked more time in Murano to explore more of this island.
This is not really a tour, but paid transportation to the islands. We only had about 40 mins in Murano after galas workshop. We had about 1.5 hrs in here. Burano is very nice. We waited for the boat on the sock in 40 degree weather . No shade. Make sure to take sun protection, it was really uncomfortable. All in all., the islands are worth visiting if you are in Venice for a few days . Also, go at least 30 mins early as there is some walking to get to the dock.
We went into this booking aware that it is primarily a form of transportation rather than a formal tour and we were so happy to have booked a dedicated boat to visit the two islands rather than managing the public transportation. Would highly recommend using this service as transportation to visit the islands of Murano and Burano!
not 6 hours! only 4! They take you into some glass blowing factort where they scam your time, then wallett!
I probably had overly high expectations about the island of Murano — there was nothing particularly special there, and the prices for glassware were two to three times higher than what you can find in Venice (if you go outside the touristy areas). But there was an interesting demonstration about how glass and glass products are made, which was worth seeing. Burano is a very beautiful island and definitely worth visiting. Torcello didn’t leave a strong impression.
The trip was very organised and punctual with ample seating for everyone. The commentary was helpful too and was provided in five languages, Italian, English, Spanish, French & German. Staff were very polite and helpful too. We thought the trip was great value for money and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others.
This was truly great experience and great cost! If you’re looking for a half day trip to the islands, this is definitely the one. Although you don’t get more then an hour / hour and a half per island , in my opinion , i don’t think you need more than that. Please make sure to study the meet up location Google maps prior to departure as it could be a bit confusing.
The Murano tour i took in 2008 was much better. Watching craftsman make objects was best part. Other island didn't have as much lace as I expected to see.
Nice boat ride. Basically just drop off at two locations but didn't need more. Wouldn't say much English or description of islands.
I feel like I got ripped off. The tour I signed up for specifically said it was 6 hours long. Visiting Burano, Murano and Torcello. We visited Burana and murano and it was only 4 hours long. Not sure what that’s about. It was not nearly enough time to visit murano and burano. We did see the glass blowing demonstration which was really cool. But you could see it for about 10 minutes. Pay close attention to the details of this listing. No issues really with only seeing the 2 islands but I am very annoyed I picked one that said 6 hrs in length and we only got 4 hrs. Pretty brutal.
Great wayup to see both islands , you spend about an hour on each . If you want to spend more time book a different cruise. Simple way to see both places rather fast .
On time, comfortable transportation. The glass blowing and trip to Burano are nice. There is no interpretation other than the glass blowing.
It was good. Our specific boat wasn’t too overcrowded so when we got to the glass factory there was plenty of room to see. The factory shop has some pretty hilarious pricing for products. Burano was beautiful. The tour itself was punctual. We had 30 mins free roaming in Murano and about 1 hour in Burano. For us it was enough time.
They ran on time. They were clear with directions. They impressively said things in five languages. But basically all they do is give you a ride which you could do cheaper and more relaxed on your own. The first island you do see a glass blowing demonstration, but it’s five minutes and you see it with 100 other people in bleachers from a bit far away. But you can’t see it. That’s the only thing you see on the island besides the shop, which isn’t any more exciting than any of the other glass blowing shops. They basically just give you a ride.
The boat took as on a round trip on smaller islands. Glass factory (and shop 👍🏻) and spectacular colorfull fishermans village
Ignore the negative reviews - we were a little dubious after reading ‘they left without us’ or ‘difficult to find’! It’s anything but…….very clear instructions which if you follow you simply cannot go wrong! Brilliantly well organised and let’s not forget ‘you get what you pay for’ - for circa £25 each, to have a 6hr trip by water visiting three islands, experiencing a Murano glass demonstration, onto the stunning colourful fisherman’s island of Burano …… what more could you ask for. Outstanding experience 10/10
Perfect day tour. Well organised and friendly staff. They were also prompt in replying to in-app messages.
Great day and superb sightseeing. Very easy to meet at the pick up point and good instructions on times etc.
Smooth half day tour around the Venice Islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello on the Serenissima Boat. Decent time to spend and explore the islands (could use a little more at Murano (I will tell you why...). Essentially this trip is pretty subsidized by Venice Events who take you right into their Murano showroom pier - you get a fine and quick demonstration of the "glass work" by a Master and then into the showroom. Let's face it - most folks will make some purchase. Thus this takes some time if you really want to see a little more of the Murano island. Then the tour continues onto Burano (see all the colorful houses) and Torcello (take a nice nature walk and see the island). All-in-all still a really nice trip - the guide was very proficient in the 5 languages and was very eloquent in each one describing along. The boat was very nice and clean too. We were lucky that we had a very small group. Lovely way to see around Venice.
