Venice: Marco Polo Airport Private Transfer To Hotel By Car& Boat

Super fun and friendly. Love arriving to my destination in a boat in the Venice canals. Even with a big bag in tow!

Driver reached out to informed us our free waiting hour was almost over-he sounded irritated- NOTE(we reached the gate 15 minutes ago"so he was early"), took us from from Marco Polo to Venice's dock area, after 10 minutes water taxi ride we were dropped-off not even at the hotel's canal.it was like 15 mnts walk to the hotel. Service detail are deceiving, we were spoused to be taken to Marco Polo's water taxi dock area by van, then water taxi direct 45 mnts ride to the closest dock at the canal where our hotel was located. Recommendation, book water taxi upon arrival or use different company, price is the same. Run from Travel Solutions. its a good thing I did not have a lot of expectations, but my mom did!, is a good thing, I have a FANTASTIC poker face. I am just glad she did not notice the FIASCO.

The experience was a bit bumpier than expected and didn't quite fall into place as described. We had anticipated a straightforward airport meet-and-greet, but instead had to coordinate our pickup via multiple messages and meet the driver outside the terminal rather than being welcomed inside with a name sign. The transfer to the hotel also lacked the smoothness we expected. The water taxi left us at a general drop-off location instead of taking us directly to the hotel's water entrance, which meant a long walk through the historic center carrying luggage. Since the hotel accommodates direct water taxi arrivals, this seemed like an avoidable inconvenience.

The driver monitored our flight and although I book a 12:00 airport pickup, our flight was early and he came early! He texted me when he got there and had a sign with my name on it. The ride to the water taxi was in a very nice Mercedes and the water taxi was waiting to take us to our hotel. Everything was perfect.

We booked direct with the official taxi company. Superb service and THE best way to arrive in Venice. Went home by bus. Lovely boat, friendly driver and great views. Dropped us so close to our apartment too.

Driver was immediately visible at airport with my name on ipad. He took care of our luggage and made the pick up seamless. Water taxi ride portion was an easy transition and dropped us off at the dock next to our hotel. He called the hotel ahead of our arrival and bellmen were waiting at the dock to assist. The entire transfer was enjoyable and stress-free. Pricey but they made the pickup in Venice a breeze.

Wonderful van transfer from airport to water taxi. Water taxi just left us off at a dock and told us to walk to our hotel, which we did not know where it was located. He took off with the boat so fast that we could not ask any questions. And he just handed our luggage to us from the boat and didn’t get out to assist us as we both have bad backs. Would not recommend this transfer company!

We were so exhausted and didn’t read our materials correctly that the pier was under repair so they would pickup at airport and drive us to the other pier. Our driver called me and came and found us at the pier. Above and beyond great service. Thank you for helping us 5 weary travelers. And not making us feel stupid or an inconvenience. Great demeanor in what must have been frustrating for him.

The transfer from airport to the water taxi was seamless. Marcelo met us at the airport and took care of everything. Highly recommend this service! The water taxi was also fun and fast. He met us at the dock and was very helpful.

Excellent experience. We did think we would have longer on the boat than max 10 mins but we enjoyed it. Pricey for £283 but does include 20 mins private car hire. Very seamless.

Very smoothly run and on time. We did have some confusion about where to meet at the airport but then were able to send a msg and they responded quickly with instructions.

Very expensive transfer. Pickup at airport was late and confusing. Car ride okay but left standing at pier alone hoping taxi boat would show up. Highly recommend finding water taxi dock that is a short moving walkway from main terminal. Direct water taxi is less than 30 minutes to hotels and $160 up to four passengers.

Even though our flight was delayed over 2 hours Chipino was waiting for us as we stepped out of the airport to take us to Piazza de Roma and our water taxi. We didn't spend much time on the Grand Canal, but it was pretty amazing to navigate it at night.

DO NOT BOOK. Do not book this boat! Canceled on us right when we landed 15 minutes before we were supposed to get on. Left us stranded.

Was met at airport once in main exit by representative who promptly took us to van transport then to water taxi to drop off I lose to our hotel.

Our shuttle driver, Marcelo was wonderful and so helpful. Our only hiccup was they told our water taxi driver the wrong hotel. Thankfully I realised the hiccup before we got all the luggage for our group off of the boat.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! You are greeted with a driver, clean van, plenty of room for suitcases. Then you get on a boat - think classic Venice wood boat that is the staple! And they drop you off near your hotel. It makes arrival so smooth and not having to deal with lugging suitcases to the ferry and around Venice bridges.

After our order was placed we received regular updates and checks from Viator which, for us, was assuring as this is the first time we have used this vendor. As to the transfer, we were met at the airport with the driver having our name prominently displayed. The driver was courteous, polite and helpful, loading our cases and ensuring we were comfortable before setting off to rendezvous with the boat. The drive was pleasant in our air-conditioned Mercedes which took about 20 minutes to arrive at the boat. Our boat captain was also polite and helpful and we were taken through canals of Venice to our hotel which was on the Lido. Our experience of the transfer was that this was a great start to our Venice adventure and we would both book this again when we return to Venice. Both my wife and I have no hesitation in recommending this means of hotel transfer as we made to feel like film stars arriving.

Excellent service. Van driver was very patient, airline had lost our luggage & we had to complete paperwork. He stayed in contact with us. Our boat ride was uneventful. He gave us directions to our hotel from the closest camel he dropped us off at. Saved time & the trouble of moving our remaining luggage around. Highly recommend!!!

Our flight was a bit delayed and then we had a long customs line, but our driver Marius kept in constant contact with us and ensured a smooth pickup and drop off.

The company was outstanding to work with. We had multiple airline delays due to weather in the US. The driver was very understanding and worked with our delays. He was waiting for Us at the airport and took us directly to a water taxi that was waiting for us. With all the crazy airline delays, it was great to not worry about finding transportation to our hotel in Venice.

Our water taxi driver was horrible, mean, and rude. If you ever get water taxi #33, reject him. He pulled my wife onto the taxi, hurting her knee. He complained our luggage was too heavy, despite just coming off airplane within their strict limits, and threw the luggage around his boat. When we docked at our hotel, the concierage apologized immediately for the tavu driver and said they never use him. We were very unhappy with viator and this water taxi driver / package. So many other airport connections to use and choose from, will pick others in the future and stay away from Victor for this. Felt ripped off.

They were not there when I arrived Then they texted they were canceling and I would get a refund I then had to argue my flight was only 30 minutes late and it mentioned they wait for an hour I was extremely upset Then finally they told me they got me confused with another It was ok after that The driver was ok at best The boat was ok as well

Top of the line vehicle and boat and great customer service. I vastly over-estimated the time needed at the airport (new EES, etc) and our flight was early. I was able to contact the provider and get earlier transport. I do think it is over-priced because you can do the same water taxi for 120€ for all three people.

Make sure your phone is turned on or you have WiFi to communicate with your driver! I didn’t and my driver had a hard time finding me. In the end, it all worked out with the help of another local and my driver was very pleasant and friendly. We both apologized for the miscommunication. The MB van was very clean and comfortable with the AC on full blast! Since my hotel was reachable by car, I didn’t need the private water taxi portion of the fee and was offered a partial refund.

We used this company for both our airport transfer to the hotel and our return trip at the end of our stay in Venice. Everything was seamless from start to finish. The staff was professional, friendly, and on time for both pickups, which made traveling much less stressful. The boat and shuttle were clean and comfortable, and communication throughout the process was excellent. I highly recommend their service to anyone looking for reliable transportation to and from the Venice airport.

Did not find reservations. Walk twice to pier. No person with name waiting. Only after multiple time at company desk was I able to resolve.

driver was polite and nicely presented but This is mainly a drive to dirty port area and a short boat ride. Not the traditional arrival into Venice by water taxi that I’ve had using hotel taxis in the past.
