We had a great walk with interesting stories. Anna was very kind and informative. Venice is a beautiful place to do a ghost tour with lots of history.

Nice little walk about to places we would not have found on our own. Anna the guide was very knowledgable. It was nice to walk through Venice at night. I especially liked seeing the hospital since I am a nurse.
Anna was the most fabulous guide!! She was knowledgeable, entertaining, kind, and told the best stories. I am so glad we signed up for this tour- would absolutely do it again on our next trip!
Tour guide was very nice and spoke very good english. But we expected a bit more ghostly tales than was given
Lots of walking,in and out of some places in Venice we didn't know existed, Venice in October around 9pm gets a lot quieter which made it a better experience so we can hear everything about it
Annalisa was fantastic! Spectacular stories from a wonderful host. 10/10 experience, if you're reading this- just do it! You won't be disappointed.
This tour is so amazing to hear and see the local stories, traditions and lesser known histories of Venice. Analise (i am so sorry if I spelt that wrong) was so incredible. She was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the folk stories and lesser known history of Venice, as well as giving us incredible advice on how to have the absolute best experience in Venice. Can not recommend this tour enough for anyone coming to Venice.
Analisa was amazing she used good humour and told a great story. She also recommended a couple of local Venetian restaurants we went and thoroughly enjoyed. Love this place
Anna our tour guide was so cool. She took us through areas of the city we would have never seen. I felt like a local. Best part of our trip. Do this tour early on in your stay. You’ll find find hidden gems you’ll want to explore
Very informative. History mixed with entertaining, interesting ghost stories. Would have been good to be able to grab takeaway drinks from the many window shops along the way.
Fun evening with Serena! We enjoyed hearing several local legends and taking a nice walk around Venice. Serena was engaging and a wonderful source of info in Venice. Great outing for our last evening in town.
We had Anna and she was brilliant! The time flew by and I learned a lot. We saw some really nice off the beaten track parts of Venice - Highly recommend!
Fun activity while in Venice. Easy walk around town. My daughter loves ghost walks so this was a must. Much like other places you walk hear a story and move to the next location. I was happy that our guide didn’t tell anything as we walked so no one missed out on anything.
The guide failed to show up. I reached out to the provider via phone but didn’t get a response. Reached out to Viator for help and they tried to contact the provider to no avail. The provider subsequently called and advised the guide was sick and offered to reschedule later in the day but that did not work with our schedule. Viator refunded me shortly there after. I gave this event a one star only because the guide did not show up. However, the provider and Viator did respond and try to make things right. Had I been able to go on this tour at a later time I would have and if given the opportunity to take this tour in the future, I would.
Very interesting facts and a great walk around Venice! Our tour guide Flavia was personable and friendly and you can tell she really knows her information.
Anna was so great and loves sharing her hometown with visitors. Got to see another side of Venice and hear local folklore. Way more than just spooky stories.
This was a great experience!! Small group with a very engaging guide. Julia was very personable & told great stories. She did a great job leading the group all around Venice through back alley ways that really enhanced the atmosphere of the tour
We loved this tour, and our tour guide Anna was FANTASTIC - great stories and a warm and charming guide - it was a great way to see some of the lesser known areas and hear about the history and folklore
The tour was entertaining and informative, however quite short at approximately 90 minutes. At around £42 per person I believe it is very expensive for what it is and doesn’t represent good value for money. There are much cheaper and probably better tours available in Venice.
It was so interesting to learn about the legends of venice. The guide was very kind and she recommended me places for dinner. Was very nice.
This was an ok walking tour. Our guide was Valentina she was critical of American Tourist for taking too many pictures and that is how the tour started. She was hard to understand at times and not a great story teller. We visited 5 site with related stories. It is a reasonable pace tour, but the stories were not that great or at least they weren’t told in an interesting way. This is a small group of less than 10 and there is no listening device. So in summary it is an ok tour but don’t expect much because you will be disappointed.
My mom and I were so excited for this tour! What’s cooler than ghost stories in Venice, right? Well our experience was just bad. Valentina was our guide. She spoke way too soft for any of us to hear (no ear pieces were offered) and she talked about history of Venice and some folklore. I could barely hear her so I knew my 76 yr old mother couldn’t hear anything. I politely asked her (off to the side) if she could please speak up a little because my mom was hard to of hearing and I could barely hear her. She replied with NO, and a couple of weird excuses as to why. She’s been doing tours all day, she can’t speak loudly, etc. I thought she would at least humor me and pretend to accommodate us. In fact, she did the exact opposite! The very next stop she got noticeably quieter, barely speaking over a whisper out of spite! We left after only 25 minutes! I also didn’t hear even one ghost story! Probably would’ve been much better with a different guide. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! 👎
Great stories and a bit of history too! Serena was a super guide, a local raised in the area, so she knew a lot of history of the area.
Our guide Valentina was excellente! she knew the history and was a great storyteller about Venice. we learned a lot and enjoyed our evening ghost tour. would highly recommend this tour to learn history and see amazing sites while in Venice! Nick
Anna was a fantastic ghost tour guide and gave us great stories behind the ghosts. She was a warm, engaging, and friendly guide and we really appreciated her approachable personality and nature. The ghost stories were unique and gave us insights into the darker parts of Venice that wouldn't have been otherwise easily known. Group size was nice--about 7 people, which made it easy and efficient to get around. 1.5 hrs felt like the perfect length of time for the tour. Thanks, Anna!
This was SUCH a fun tour. Anna was energetic, engaging, and so wonderful with our kids. We only met Anna the last night of our trip, or we would have tried to get her as our tour guide for the entire trip! The tour was not at all scary and would be fine for all ages. I would absolutely recommend!
Our water taxi was running behind so it put us behind to meet our group. Valentina was very gracious in communicating and we met at the second stop. This is more of an “urban legend” and history lesson vs. an actual ghost tour. Disappointed we didn’t hear more of the history of the black plague as well as any homes that are purportedly haunted. Loved seeing the beautiful hospital as well as where Marco Polo lived.
This ghost tour was perfect. Anna was our guide, and she was great. She made the tour very interesting and is a great storyteller. We had children with us, ages 10-12, which worked well. The stories were interesting and mysterious, without being too terrifying. It was a great way to see Venice. She also gave great restaurant and glass blowing recommendations. This is a tour you must do!
Claudia was our tour guide and she was AMAZING. She was the most engaging haunted tour guide I have ever had and would go on all of her tours if I still were in Venice. She is a fantastic storyteller and was fun to talk to and banter with. She painted a vivid picture when sharing all of the haunted tales. On top of that, she and her business partners did / do all the research for their tours. Impressive! Highly recommend.
Experienced & friendly guide. Got to see many back alleyways & courtyards that we would never have seen
Annalisa was a fantastic guide and this was a thoroughly enjoyable tour. Being a genuine Venetian, Annalisa was not only able to take us away from the tourist hotspots and through many of the lesser-used, lesser-known back alleys and side streets, but she was able to give recommendations and insights and answer questions as we walked, all in addition to the stories she was focused on as part of the tour itself. This makes for a really authentic experience and is why we always book a ghost tour when visiting new cities - these tours can be hit and miss, but I can definitely recommend Annalisa's!
I was really impressed by Annalisa’s tour. I learned so many new stories and tales about the things that took place in Venice so many years ago. She took us into lots of small nooks and crannies throughout the city that we would have never thought to go. The history and events surrounding Marco Polo was also mouth dropping! I’ll remember to ring the bells iin Venice when I pass over the bridges upon my return!!
This tour was so unique and we heard great ghost stories, learnt about the history of Venice, and learnt about the culture of Venice. Our guide Victoria was very knowledgeable and told each story in an engaging manner, and answered any and all questions people had.
Analisa was a great tour guide with such fun stories and recommendations! It was amazing to see a different side of the city that isn’t usually shown on tours. (P.S. apologies if her name is spelled wrong!)
Anna was fab - we laughed, we ‘wow-ed’ and we learned loads. Was a brilliant experience for the two adults and 12 year old in our party. Highly recommend, my son’s very favourite thing we’ve done in Venice so far!
Our guide Annalisa, a Venetian local, was absolutely fantastic! She is incredibly passionate about her city and is an engaging storyteller. Like most lore, the things we learned had historical truth mixed with cultural insights and legend. We learned a side of Venice that we likely wouldn’t have ever heard elsewhere. Highly recommend!
My guide was kind and knowledgeable, but the stories were far-fetched and didn't offer enough historical context. Throughout the tour, each tale could've had more details and lots more gore.
Ghosts and murder yours are something we always look for when we travel. It was fun and extremely interesting. Anna made it perfect. She was amazing and has a great personality and passion for what she does. The thunderstorm weather added to the tour too. Highly recommended thank you
Claudia did an amazing job. She provided great stories as we walked around Venice. Claudia is very knowledgeable and went the extra step to provide great dinner recommendations to us.
I chose this tour so I can have opportunity to explore Venice during night time but it was till bright during the tour. The ghost stories are ok. I think it would’ve been better if the tour took place after the sun down.
Annalise was fantastic and the stories were well told. It was great to see and hear about Venice from a true Venetian. Highly recommend but be prepared for walking and steps. The hidden places had fantastic views and not crowded with tourists
Out tour guide was amazing story teller. She did such a wonderful job and really impressed the whole family!
Anna was a great guide! She gave us both local lore and legends while also giving general city history which was helpful in giving more perspective to Venice. While we heard spooky stories she kept between the stories light, which is great for people traveling with partners who don’t want a super grim and dark tour.
Expect a nice evening stroll about 1.5 miles in total over 90 minutes. Valentina told us 6 special legends/ghost stories. She also provided cultural insights, and is an engaging story teller! She is Venetian and very passionate about sharing the areas history.
Tour guide was very sweet and communicated very well, was helpful and funny…but the tour is more of history and explanation of venice architecture than its is a ghost tour.
Anna was an amazing guide. Her local perspective of the city’s history and legends is remarkable. She offered information and suggestions for the remainder of our time in Venice. Highly recommend!
Our guide Anna was fantastic! Highly recommend, it was a fun way to see and learn interesting little pieces of Venice.
Historic and informative, and also compelling. She was a great tour guide!
Gory stories, great information and way more educational than we imagines. Genuinely enthusiastic host and leader. Nicely paced and lots of great sites and stories. You'll enjoy the information you won't hear on a normal tour.
Excellent tour! Everyone in my film from my 21 year old son to my 10 year old daughter loved the experience.
