Venice Walking Tour And Gondola Ride

A very interesting and informative tour with a gondola ride at the end. Our guide Elena was excellent. Just one slight criticism- the meeting point was difficult to find.

The walk was great. We went to Venice not knowing the history and the walking tour explained that to us. Very informative about the history on how the city came about. The walking tour took an hour and 25 minutes. Then we went on the gondola ride It was about a 20 minute ride. Just know this is a shared ride with 4-5 people on the gondola. The experience was AWESOME. This is a bucket list check mark.

Overall it's a good tour but it felels a bit rushed. Meeting point was a little confusing to figure out

The walking tour and tour guide were good. The gondola ride was only 20 minutes, told it would be 30. Ride was relaxing but too short.

Well, it started out as we had October 14 plan for our walking tour as we were waiting for the tour to start. We overheard another couple that booked for the wrong day. They were on the next day and they were leaving Venice so we decided to give up our tickets so they could join the tour on the 14th and we took their spot on the 15th. It backfired bc our tour guide was not very good. Very dulll not engaging and Chat GPT could have done a better job.

We picked a great time in October. The crowds were not bad. We enjoyed the guide who took is to out of the way places.

The guide on the walking tour was fabulous, she was very knowledgeable. I would change the amount of time that is spent standing in one place to continued walking or maybe even taking photos for the group. The standing can be difficult for some. The gondola ride was very nice. The. Gondolier left much to be desired in regard to interaction.

Wasn’t anything like I expected, however, we did learn a bunch of interesting facts about Venice and the gondola rise was great. Recommend!

Excellent activity. Starts off with static explanation of why Venice is where it is. Then steady walk around. All well explained. Guide (Stephano) took many questions and answered them all. Quite a pace with a lot to see Prebooked gondola slot Gondola is 30 min trip on grand canal then some small canals. This is much cheaper than a full separate gondola ride. Only downside is sharing the gondola with 2-3 others. Overall good value and a good orientation start. Recommended

I was held up by unforeseen circumstances (our transportation to get into Venice did not show). When I tried to message the tour operator, about this, via messenger, I did not get a message back. The number that was in the booking to call, said: all circuits were busy. Not helpful as a contact number. I had hoped to talk to someone to try to catch up with the tour later or re-book for later, unfortunately that didn’t happen.

The tour itself with the gondola ride was very nice and informative however our guide was a bit rude and aggressive. She was rude to one of my friends that I was traveling with and kept telling her to put her phone down and if she was talking to her son. My friend was taking pictures with her phone not on the phone. This is the 2nd time on this tour for me and the previous guide 2 years ago was fun and amazing but his one might need to retire, she didn’t seem to be enjoying her job unfortunately, which made my friends first time on this tour not pleasant.

Walking tour was very informative and you tour a lot of the back streets and not the main area's. Doesn't go into much detail about St. Mark's if you are looking for that. Gondola ride is 30 mins and was very cool. Each only holds 4 people so plan for that.

The tour & gondola ride were wonderful. Our guide was a lot of fun & very knowledgeable. The meeting place was somewhat confusing. We didn't realise we needed to exchange the voucher for tickets at the office, as this was not stated in the meeting place details

We really enjoyed this tour. Our host was knowledgeable and passing about the city. We got to see sights that we had missed whilst walking round ourselves. The gondola ride was fantastic.

This tour was fabulous! Our tour guide was very personable. We had a small group so he got to know each of us which made the tour more enjoyable. He was very knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations for things to do around the city. We saw things we would’ve never seen on our own, so the tour was absolutely worth it.

A very knowledgeable and interesting guide who showed us the main sights as well as some off the beaten track. He was able to answer all our questions. The gondola ride afterwards was pleasant and enjoyable.

You go around a block 14 of the route is in a rough water way and told to sit still because if you move the boat will rock even in the other calmer canals.

The walking tour was great with Paula. Enjoyed the quieter side of Venice. The gondola ride was disappointing. The gondoliers assisting with entering and exiting the gondola acted like we were an inconvenience. I would hire a private gondola ride if I was to do it again.

A great tour of the San Marco area of Venice. Our guide was attentive to the group, especially since it was a very hot day. There were brief parts of the tour that it was hard to hear, but overall a good experience.

Overall a good city walking tour which will give you an impressive overview of Venice and its many nooks and crannies. The Gondola ride (obviously) was wonderful. Only honest feedback is, the overall pace could be a little slower especially for first timers to grasp the essence.

The tour was informative and interesting. I wasn't aware that I would be sharing a gondola with people that I did not know. The other couple sat in the lounge seating while my wife and I sat on opposides of the boart on small stools. Tfe lounging couple kept asking us to take pictures of them while we were trying to stay perched onto our stools. The gondola ride was miserable riding with another couple who we had no idea who they were. It was really ridiculous and I wish this was explained in the details or on the tour. Had I known I wouldn't even gotten on the gondola. Really disappointing.

Must do to see and learn about the real Venice. Ask any question and get a genuine response from someone who lives in the city, and loves it!

Guide was knowledgeable and helpful. I liked his book with additional information and pictures to add on to the information he was sharing.
