Tour was great. Very informative, great local guide who gave a great tour and tips. The speaker/commicator used was not adequate. It picked up all the noise around the guide and also cited out often which was disappointing.

Campo San Polo is one of Venice’s largest and most atmospheric squares, located in the heart of the city’s historic center. Unlike the more crowded tourist hotspots, it offers a more authentic and relaxed glimpse into everyday Venetian life. Surrounded by elegant palaces and traditional buildings, Campo San Polo has long been a place of gathering, celebrations, and even historic events such as festivals, markets, and public performances. In winter, it occasionally transforms into an open-air ice-skating rink, adding a charming seasonal touch. Today, it remains a peaceful open space where locals and visitors alike can pause, enjoy the surroundings, and experience a quieter side of Venice. Its central location also makes it an ideal stop while exploring nearby highlights such as Rialto and San Marco.
Campo San Rocco is a quiet and atmospheric square in the heart of Venice, best known for its close connection to the stunning nearby Scuola Grande di San Rocco. Unlike the more crowded tourist areas, Campo San Rocco offers a peaceful setting where visitors can pause and soak in the authentic Venetian atmosphere. The square is framed by traditional buildings and has a timeless feel, reflecting the city’s rich history and everyday life. It is especially popular as a stopping point for travelers visiting the Scuola Grande di San Rocco, home to one of the most impressive collections of paintings by Tintoretto. From here, it’s easy to continue exploring nearby highlights such as the Basilica dei Frari and the lively San Polo district. Campo San Rocco is ideal for those looking to experience a quieter, more local side of Venice while staying close to major artistic and historical treasures.
Rialto Bridge is one of the most iconic landmarks in Venice and one of the oldest bridges spanning the Grand Canal. With its elegant white stone arch and lively atmosphere, it has become a symbol of the city and a must-see for every visitor. Originally built as a wooden bridge and later reconstructed in stone during the late Renaissance, it once served as the commercial heart of Venice, connecting bustling markets and trading routes. Today, it is lined with small shops and offers breathtaking views over the Grand Canal, where gondolas and boats pass continuously beneath. Visiting the Rialto Bridge is especially magical at sunrise or sunset, when the light reflects beautifully on the water and the city reveals its most romantic side. It remains one of the best spots in Venice to take photos and soak in the unique charm of the floating city.
St. Mark’s Square, known as Piazza San Marco, is the heart of Venice and one of the most famous squares in the world. Surrounded by magnificent architecture, it has long been the city’s main gathering place and a symbol of its power, art, and history. Here you’ll find the stunning St. Mark’s Basilica with its golden mosaics and intricate façade, alongside the impressive Doge’s Palace, once the seat of Venetian political power. The square is also framed by elegant arcades, historic cafés, and the soaring Campanile, which offers panoramic views over the city. Piazza San Marco has been described as an “open-air living room” of Venice, where visitors and locals gather to admire its beauty, listen to live music, and take in the timeless atmosphere. At high tide, the square may partially flood, creating a unique and unforgettable reflection of its architecture on the water.

Alice was excellent. Her knowledge of Venice was amazing and so cool to be walked around by a local. Only recommendation I would have is better hearing systems. If you got to far away from the guide you couldn’t hear which in Venice with the small streets was easy.
We joined the 2 hour walking tour of Venice with a local guide. This was a great way to start our visit to Venice. It was fairly easy to find the meeting point. We received receivers and ear phones so it was easy to follow what the guide was saying. We started on the other side of the Grand Canal and walked through several squares and passed multiple churches until we reached the Rialto fish market. The guide mixed in Venice history with practical information on how to interpret the street signs on the houses to know which district we were in. This was very useful. After the Rialto market, we crossed the bridge and walked to St. Mark's square where the tour ended. The guide was great and had a nice way of keeping us together and interested for the 2 hours. I can recommend this tour.
Beautiful day in the Dolomites! If you want to get away from the hustle & bustle of the Venetian tourism, a trip to the mountains is the best way to go. Great for families- may not be great if you’re physically impaired or have a hard time walking up/ down steep or uneven roads.
Lovely guide, very informative and was for just the right amount of time. Great value!
We enjoyed the tour. Exactly what I was looking for and I specially loved our guide Alice. She had so much knowledge about the city and was answering all our questions the entire time.
Perfect tour around the key parts of Venice. Only thing that would be good to have is time for some pictures or stopping at some key spots for pictures and I had to circle back after the tour
It was a great experience walking around Venice and having and expert getting us all the details and secrets of such lovely city!
Alice was clear, concise and very knowledgeable. She walked at a nice pace and was always watching out for everyone's safety.
Super tour! You know a lot about the city after two hours of relaxed, easy walk. The quide was sooo griendly and she knows everything. Supertour👌🏻
Great first day in Venice. Use this tour to find your bearings, grab some historical facts from a genuine Venetian guide and take on board some great travel tips. Julia was fabulous and battled through her cold to deliver a really useful tour for us. She hung around after the tour finished to answer anyone's questions, offering up the opportunity to take a picture of her personal favorite eateries. We explored a few of these and can vouch for the great value and authentic experiences that she promised. The guide wore a microphone that transmitted to wireless headphones provided in the price. This worked well most of the time but be sure to keep close to the guide as the comms tended to break up if distance increased, especially down the narrow lanes. We navigated the back streets to avoid the crowds which we remembered to use again in the following days. Thank you Julia, you were fab.
Jade was our tour guide and she was amazing. She took us to all the pertinent sites in Venice walking through the side streets and over bridges. Highly recommend.
Great walking tour! Perfect for all ages. Our guide provided so much historical facts during the walk, very interesting! We've learned so much about Venice. Our guide actually took us through alleyways and backstreets, which allowed us to avoid the crowds on the main route. Our tour ended at the San Marco square. She provided us some very helpfull tips for a nice restaurant for lunch near the square.
Good length and guide very knowledgeable and gave local recommendations
Jarda was a fantastic tour guide, we learnt so much about the city on our first morning, she was incredible enthusiastic and also gave us good tips for lunch spots. Thank you
Excellent tour with Alice. The tour covered a good area of Venice from the less well known to the popular. The guide was well informed and led at a good pace. Really glad we did this, and would definitely recommend.
Cery interesting and enjoyable tour with Anna. Lots of local knowledge and interesting information about life in Venice and some of the history. Anna and her family are from Venice so you really get an authentic experience. Nice to stay away from some of the main tourist routes too.
The experience was really good. Our guide Vale was really nice - told us lots of stories about life there and how to navigate the city. Really loved the little nuggest on the streets and how districts formed. Overall a very good and informative experience.
A very nice tour that provided essential and basic information of Venice. It’s something to do on your first day if you want to know where to go and what to do in Venice especially if you’re here for a short period.
February is a gorgeous time to visit went on this tour as a solo traveller and gave me all the interesting details of veniece including history behind the masks. I only gave 4 star as this tour did not take us to st marcos square as i thought but we did hear of history behind it. Tour guide was very friendly well spoken english
We enjoyed our 2 hour walking tour as we got to see more of Venice. The guide, Gian Carlo was very pleasant but it was unfortunately boring information that he shared? We have done lots of these types of tours before in different cities & unfortunately it all comes down to the guide that you get? Some make it interesting & you learn things? This one just didn’t do it for us.
Great walking tour and a wonderful way to experience Venice. Valentina, our guida, was amazing, knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the city. She made the tour engaging and fun, with history and legends we never would have discovered on our own. Thank you, Valentina, for such a memorable experience! Highly recommended!
Great walking tour to learn about Venice, spend time with the family, and see the city's key highlights. Completely commendable!
The guide was fantastic. She grew up in Venice, so she gave a locals perspective of the culture & history of Venice. She was extremely knowledgeable & friendly for us to spend our time with. I highly recommend this tour.
Gianmarco was both interesting and funny and I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in the history of Venice.
If you come to Venice you must get this tour. Walking through this magical wonderland with Vale was like walking through history. She was so fun, friendly and knowledgeable.
They canceled the tour last minute, because the guide had a family emergency. But they said that can arrange another guide for more money…. I asked for refund. Awful!!!
It was a brilliant walking tour made even better by Vale. She was so enthusiastic about Venice and very informative about it too. Would definitely recommend it 👌
I booked this tour for myself and 5 friends and we were not disappointed. Flavia was full of knowledge and answered any questions we had. We loved everything about it. It was so lovely to hear about the history and facts of Venice. Her English was second to none, the tour didn’t feel rushed, it was at a good pace. We learned a lot of facts that we would not have known, we found it interesting and would highly recommend it. Thank you Flavia!
It was a very rainy day in Venice but our guide was very good at making the best of it and getting us to do the siightseeong we wanted.
It was an amazing tour seeing parts of Venice that most tourists don’t see. Our tour guide Valentina was so warm and friendly, explaining everything so well. We had so much fun with her We highly recommend 😊
Went on this on the day we arrived and it was a great way to get familiar with the city as we got a feeling for what we wanted to see later in more depth and how to get around. Our guide Flavia was excellent.
I enjoyed the local perspective and history shared. She did a good job of avoiding crowds and showing things you might not notice on your own. Sometimes it was hard to hear the guide.
Guide provided interesting facts and history about Venice. The group was larger than I expected but he managed it well with audio devices that made it easy to hear his narrative.
Flavia was a great tour guide. I appreciated that we avoided some of the crowded routes to the popular places. She pointed out so many interesting little things about Venice that felt more local versus the typical tour.
This was a great 2 hour tour thanks to our guide Gianmarco who was both interesting and funny. We have been to Venice many times before but this was the first tour we have done and we discovered many interesting facts about Venice that I never knew. It was very hot but Gianmarco made sure that all our stops were shaded which was very helpful to me! Highly recommended and might well do another one on our next visit.
We were led by Iryna on our trip. Iryna is a true Venetian and very passionate about her city. She was excellent at explaining the history, some of the key regional interests and how the city developed and operated. She was super friendly, very knowledgeable and could not have been nicer. Thank you so much Richard and Cathy
Our guide Giulia is a local and shared a lot of great knowledge about the area and history. Comfortable walking speed and thorough tour. She had pictures to show for how the city is constructed and shared her list of restaurant recommendations. She even had a fantastic recommendation on where to go on Murano later that day. Worth the price 2x over!
Choosing a city tour was our best decision. In just a couple of hours, we learned many interesting facts that allowed us to better understand the city! The guide was very cheerful and friendly.
Julia, our local tour guide gave us a great tour, outside the large tourist areas. She was insightful, funny, energic and passionate about her beautiful city and the Venetian life. Recommend it
Great Tour. Recommended. Our tour guide, Gia Marko (sp?) was knowledgable, charming and informative. The tour is a great aperitif to Venice. Thank You.
Really enjoyed this tour! Irena (hope that's the right spelling) was so well informed and really made sure the group heard and understood her. She took us on a route that was mostly "off the beaten track", which I loved and gave us so much information about the history of the city. Definitely worth doing!
Julia was a most informative guide, taking the group through Northern Venice and ending at St. Mark's Square. Excellent tour and highly recommend.
Great walking tour full of lesser known sights and factoids led by true Venetian! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for something other than just art and churches.
good tour for the basics of Venice. guide was very knowledgeable and interactive. well worth the time and money! thank you
Desi was our guide who was very informative and knowledgeable. We covered so much ground and learned a lot and got a good understanding of the layout of the city. However, it was not small group, we had 16 -18 people and there was no time for questions and clarifications. Nonetheless, we had a good time and got to see a lot.
Very relaxed and informative walk lead by Julia. Pace was perfect for our small group of approx 14 and the information shared was interesting and topical for both Venice as a destination as well as the points of interest we stopped at. Julia shared plenty of suggestions for other things to see and do as well as offering suggestion on how best to avoid the masses and dodge the queues. All in all an excellent and informative few hours.
Our tour guide was Julia. She was so interesting and gave us lots of history and local information. We loved the tour which lasted about 2hrs and all flat, and not too busy in February
We booked the walking tour in the afternoon of our first day. It helped us to understand Venice, its districts, layout, architecture and its unique history. Julia, our guide, was excellent and was a local Venetian woman so really knew her stuff and was very knowledgeable. Would recommend the tour as a great orientation to anyone spending time in Venice.
Great tour, well paced and informative. I thought 2hrs for the area covered was perfect. We’ve been to Florence, Naples, Rome and Verona but Venice is next-level beautiful and spectacular. It would be great to see it without the crowds, but I doubt this is possible
