Venice Private Tour - Custom Experience With Local Guide

Vittorio, the owner, and his team (shout out to Hana) were amazing! It was easy to schedule a tour that catered to the things that we wanted to see and do. They were professional while still managing to be both personable and interesting. (Did I mention that they were thorough too?!) If you need tour guides for Venice and its surrounding cities I highly recommend their services.

The tour guide was very flexible with us - focused on the things that interested us most - and was very knowledgeable. She communicated well and helped us make the most of our limited time in Venice.

We did a 1/2 day walking tour with Vittorio which was a wonderful way for us to be introduced to Venice - both popular or well known sites and also parts which showed us the more local scenes and places. He completely went at our pace and customized the experiences based on what we wanted. He is extremely personable and very knowledgeable and made the tour engaging and fun! We could not ask for a better experience and recommend anyone looking for a great Venice experience to contact this company!!

Vittorio was an amazing, knowledgeable tour guide. We were traveling with our 90 year old dad and Vittorio was very patient and personable. My tour with Yulp was the best afternoon of my time in Venice, Due to the timing of my tour, I’d already seen the must sees by the time I took my private custom tour with Vittorio on day 3. He made sure the tour the tour covered my interests (art and architecture) and did not overlap with things I had already seen. He is a local (born and lives in Venice) and I saw things that aren’t in guidebooks, had a great time and learned a lot. This is the tour to book if you want a great custom experience!

Tour guide never showed up even after I called him. Then he sent cancellation notice. Never use this person. I am only in Venice once and could not schedule any other tours.

Amina was a wonderful tour guide with a lovely personality. She met us at the hotel due to (losing luggage in Venice from Paris and we waited for next flight that luggage was on) and we were on a tight schedule. Anyways, Amina was timely, dependable , very personable and knowledgeable about Venice. She showed us so many hidden gems off the beaten paths that were truly lovely! We asked for recommendations for dinner, and shopping when we return to Venice after our cruise ends and she gave us many. She knew her history of Venice and was a very refreshing tour guide! She truly enjoyed doing this job!

The tour guide never arrived at the hour planned and we were offered to delay the starting hour at last minute.

As we requested, she showed us the quieter side of Venice as we walked through neighborhoods, paused to talk about local history, and even enjoyed an authentic gondola ride. Very lovely tour! Terrible tour guide. He literally was NON SPEAKING! Funny to say but unless you asked he did not talk. And if you asked your question may or may not have been answered correctly. I could have done a better walking tour of Venice than he did and I’ve never been there before!

We booked a 2 hr walking tour after we arrived by train for a day trip to Venice. Our guide Amina met with us and guided us through the different areas of Venice providing us with the history and interesting facts. She could recommend places to get a bite to eat as well. It was certainly 2hrs well spent and we would highly recommend this tour. Amina was lovely friendly and easy to understand

A lovely experience of other Venice neighborhoods. Vittorio was very knowledgeable. 3 hrs is a long tour. I would have done 2 hrs.

Vittorio did a great job introducing us to Venice. Besides showing us the highlights he took us to hidden gems that we would never have found on our own. He gave us a lot of the history of Venice along the way and warned us of traditional tourist traps. We highly recommend spending the day with Vittorio to enhance your time in Venice!

Great private tour with Amina! She took us to a lot of hidden gems and, of course, the highlights of Venice.

This tour guide is running a scam that I apparently fell victim to. After booking through Viator, the tour operator instructed me to move our communication to WhatsApp, cancel the booking after the free cancellation period had expired, and pay the guide directly in cash instead of through Viator. I was uncomfortable with these instructions because they bypassed the protections of the booking platform. In the end, the tour guide never showed for the tour that I paid for.

My boyfriend and I did a private Venice tour with Amina and a food tour with Vittorio, both through this company. It ended up being one of the most special parts of our trip. After coming from the States with flight delays, lost luggage, and last-minute changes, this company was so kind, flexible, and accommodating. They made us feel completely taken care of. Amina made Venice feel personal, like we were walking around with a friend who truly wanted us to love the city. Vittorio made the food tour just as memorable with great food, stories, and conversation. It was warm, comfortable, and unforgettable. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

We had a great evening with Vittorio walking around Venice, seeing some of the big things and lots of little things you don't really find on your own. We tried some cicchetti from a favorite shop in his neighborhood (awesome treat!) and enjoyed a few stories about growing up in Venice. To really cap off a perfect night, he hooked us up with a truly great gondolier for an evening ride before dinner. What a great first night in Venice!

This was an amazing tour. Vittorio with Yulp was so personable and knowledgeable. He really knew everything about Florence becausse he was born and raised there. This is a relatively new company contracted through Trip Advisor but you woud never know. Totally professional!

We had an amazing tour with Vittorio. We’ve been to many countries and had many tours and this was definitely one of the best. Venice was out of a dream. The tour was very well planned and vittorio gave us the perfect amount of information regarding the sights. He helped us get the most cost effective ticket for the water taxi. There was a great balance between the must see attractions and hidden gems. He was very knowledgeable about the city and was able to direct us to whatever we wanted to see. He took us through beautiful Venetian alleyways, and I cannot imagine how lost we would’ve been alone. He never rushed us, and took us efficiently at our own pace. He found us a great place for lunch, and when I wanted to buy a nice locally produced souvenir he knew how to avoid tourist traps and find a lovely place, where I could purchase directly from the maker. We had a person in a wheelchair and Vittorio made sure to find wheelchair accessible routes. He was considerate, polite, funny and a very friendly person. Best guide ever. We never would’ve been able to truly experience Venice in a day without such a tour. The only tour of Venice you need! Hana, who I corresponded with for the booking was also extremely helpful, and accommodated all requests. She helped me figure out my transport as we were based in Florence. Definite and easy recommend.

That's exceptional tours with Vittorio!! He showed me not so touristic, but very especial Venezia. We visit oldest Venizian cantina and I learn how to ask for local food and glass of vine in Italian language, I walk through oldest book store with it own unique story of survival during the flat, we even visit oldest hospital with ambulance boats, and many other places. I really appreciate Vittorio for the all unforgettable moments of that day.

We booked a 6-hour personalized tour with Vittorio and it was amazing! He was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodated my entire party which had 2 elderly parents in wheelchairs. His friendly personality made us feel at ease and paced the tour really well - didn’t feel rushed at all! Hana was also incredibly helpful every step of the way. Ouiessem was our guide for our first day in Italy. Great private walking tour seeing Venice with the help of a local. Ouiessem paired a private walking tour with a little food sampling tour so we got to enjoy some local favorite foods. Being picked up at our hotel was perfect so we did not have to try and find our way in a strange city was extremely helpful. We had no problem understanding Ouiessem and were very happy with his services.

We had just a few hours in Venice, and we were very lucky to have Vittorio as our tour guide. He was fun, knowledgeable, and very patient. We were a large group, and he waited for us to retranslate everything he said. We had two senior citizens with us, and he adjusted the pace to their needs. I highly recommend Vittorio as anyone's tour guide.

Vittorio is a wonderful tour guide. He is very knowledgeable about his home city of Venice. He is also personable. We felt very comfortable with him right away. He showed us just the right balance of famous sights and local places. He showed us his favorite local sandwich shop which we stopped at later for a bite. He took us to an authentic mask makers shop and a place where they build and repair the gondolas. By the end of the tour, we felt like he was a friend. I would definitely recommend a tour with him.

We had such a fantastic experience on this private walking tour! It truly was the best way to start our time in Venice. We were paired with Ouiessem, who was an exceptional guide from beginning to end. He met us right at our hotel, which made everything feel easy and stress-free, and then spent the next couple of hours helping us get our bearings while introducing us to the city in a way that felt both authentic and personal. What we especially appreciated was how he balanced everything. He showed us some of the well-known highlights, but also took us off the main paths into quieter areas that we never would have found on our own. It felt like we were seeing the Venice that locals experience, not just the tourist version. We had asked to end our tour at a Venetian mask-making class, and he seamlessly guided us there right on time, which made the whole day flow perfectly.
