Beautiful showroom and a short but impressive demonstration. We missed our original tour time so they gave us a private tour. Very friend staff

The glass blowing demonstration was well worth the very inexpensive cost to watch a master at work! No high pressure sales at the end as you walk thru the beautiful Muano glass store.
Had a great time looking at all the beautiful work. The demonstration was nice to learn about the master's and how they work. Bought some gorgeous pieces.
The glass blowing demonstration was amazing to watch. The glass blowers are so skilled and ended up making two things from start to finish during our tour. The gallery has several rooms full of blown glass. Everything is so beautiful and you can go through the gallery at your own pace. This activity was nice because you have the demo and tour of the gallery so you can stay or leave as soon as you like!
Glass blower was great, the guy assigned to the 2 of us and 1 other guy was subdued and maybe over it. There was another group who must have e paid more and was being engaged more and we're asked what colors to use for a vase. The blower made 1 vase and 1 cat. After we walked through the showroom, which I didnt have the money to buy but wanted to look at for its beauty. Our guy followed us which was uncomfortable but needed to make sure we didn't damage anything... I had a more joyful experience in venice at a local glass maker Caldarone Massimilia
The glass blowing demonstration by a master was very interesting as were the incredible pieces of craftsmanship in their showroom. Just be prepared for the high-pressure sales people following you around the showroom.
Never knew the art of glass was so fascinating. great trip. Giulia our guide was fantastic, he knowledge of Venice / Murano and her commutations. Excellent English
It was a wonderful tour of Winery did a wonderful job. The Marano glass factory was awesome. Thank you for letting us experience that.
Amazing experience learning about the art of glass blowing, the history of it, and seeing all the designs. I highly recommend!
This was an incredible experience. Knowledgeable guide spoke multiple languages and the glass master was amazing—such an artist. He whipped up multiple beautiful glasses and even an intricate horse scripture while we were there. We were all speechless.
Amazing experience, world class - thank you Luka & glass factory
One of the best experiences ever! We loved seeing how crystal objects. We wanted you buy everything. If you are a crystal and glass lover, you should take the opportunity.
My fellow travelers and I enjoyed this glass making demonstration in a real glass making factory. The host explained the process while the artisan made several different types of Murano glass. We also received a £10 credit to spend in the gift shop where there are many beautiful items to choose from. It was a fun way to learn about this ancient craft.
I only gave this two stars because of the craftsmanship and work of the two glass makers in the factory part of the tour. They were wonderful and clearly very talented. The rest of the tour felt like a pressure cooker to try and get us to buy something. The “guide” was arrogant and did not answer any questions very well. Nor did he provide much commentary to guide us through what the artisans were doing. At the end, we were shuttled through an extensive display of what we’re gorgeous, glass, sculptures, and other items, and the gentleman essentially hovered expecting us to buy something. I found the whole thing very disappointing. Don’t recommend.
Great experience and demonstration! Absolutely beautiful pieces of art! Highly recommend it to anyone!
Short, well organised, well explained . The tiered seating ensures a good view. They demonstrate both blowing glass and making a horse. The glass master was extremely skilled. The place also has toilets (for those booked on the tour). For a quieter vaporetto back go back from one of the stops that isn’t faro. Much quieter and less of a queue to go back via 4.1 or 4.2.
Great demo! My daughter and I really enjoyed seeing the glass horse come to life. After the demo, walking us through the showrooms and giving us the hard sell to buy expensive items was uncomfortable. And the free shipping and 40% discount only applied to high priced items.
Demonstration was good and demonstrated how a vase and horse is made. The length was not 40 minutes and only lasted 15-20 min. The rest of the time was walking through the shop un guided where larger pieces were displayed. Had to ask for the credit and discount in the shop that was stated in the ticket.
Unbelievable glass factory tour! Take the time to visit and prepare to be amazed. Beautiful artwork handcrafted!
This is one of many glass blowing shops. I believe is one of the biggest as you can only enter the 6 rooms of glass art after the tour. The tour is sitting on a bench and seeing a glass blower make a vase and a horse. He makes both in about 10 minutes. But the bigger dissapointment are the women selling in the shop. They are rude and they look at you like yoh sre a thief.
It was great to see glass blowing in person. The host was really friendly and very informative. The glass blowers were really impressive and the tour of the works after was fascinating. I would 100% recommend
They were making components of a chandelier. But, also, made one horse for demonstration . The horse was more entertaining.
Good demonstration. Interesting to see the process and workers in action. Discount for purchases provided.
Although a short demonstration (about 20 minutes) we really enjoyed our glass factory tour. It was amazing to watch the master creating several glasses as the process was explained to us. His assistant made an amazing glass horse at the end of the presentation. There was a beautiful museum to walk through at the end, as well as a store. You receive a 20% discount and a 10 euro credit with your ticket!
Short and all they did was try and sell us glass. Was not worth the price. Regret spending the money.
The staff was very accommodating. The experience was neat. And the showroom is gorgeous. For the price, it seemed like a no brainer.
Demonstration was about 15-20 minutes. Rest was 6 rooms of glass blown products for sale. Under impression demonstration would be more involved and longer
If offered the free boat ride and tour of the Venier factory don’t bother. We were greeted by the “guide” who told us they are definitely not a salesperson 🙄. After a brief demonstration of the glass blowing which was really good, we were taken to the shop and told many times there’s no obligation to buy, despite being followed around and continually told how much cheaper the factory pricing is and asked if we had questions about the pricing or the artist. While the pieces are beautiful, once it was clear we weren’t going to buy anything we were rushed out the side door and put on a boat and taken back to Venice. I would have much preferred we made our own way to the island and saw more of it rather than this waste of a trip. There’s so much more to see and there’s cheaper murano glass elsewhere without the pushy sales tactics.
Didn't bother going on this tour as our hotel arranged the same tour with a different factory for FREE! We decided to go with our hotel's organised tour as it also included two private glass-making demonstrations and a free private water taxi to and from Murano - what a delightful experience!
There are many Murano glass experiences costing 30€+ per person but we were advised to take the vaporetto (water bus) from San Marco Zaccaria direct to Murano - you can buy 1 day, 2 day, 3 day or 7 day vaporetto passes which are value for money and hop on and off as much as you like. It's approximately a 30 minutes boat ride. As you disembark the water bus at Navagero there was a gentleman who asked if we were interested in seeing how the glass was blown for free. We thought why not? It's AMAZING to see a master ply his craft and I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED IT. They have their showroom adjacent where the works of art are mind blowing. Be prepared for someone to approach you for the hard sell but we didn't mind that as it was an experience to see Murano glass masterpieces being blown and made infront of our eyes. There is also a lovely bar by the bridge next to a beautiful church that is very well priced indeed. Overall we loved the experience and HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.
Amazing. Do it. The best experience i loved seeing them blow the glass and then to buy something made there
Glass blowing was really interesting. Guide had no energy and seemed displeased we spoke English. He didn't say much at all and we just watched, would have been nice for him to explain what the glass artist was doing.
The Murano glass factory we visited (there are many), was very informative. What talented artists they have demonstrating how the glass blowing process works. Following the tour we walked around the island of Murano. What a pleasant island. Clean, quaint and charming. Lot's of tourist shops. Very pleasant experience.
Pathetic customer experience. We had a booking on June 10th however vaperato were not working so couldn’t reach Murano however we are refunded as this not us that caused it
Really enjoyed it! They communicated in multiple languages to accommodate. Was cool to see / learn and not to time consuming
This was fun and entertaining for the whole family to watch. And the artist were friendly and very talented. Enjoyed seeing this beautiful artwork being made.
Really impressive display of artistic talent. You realize why Murano glass is so expensive! One of the shop clerks was so helpful and brought us to the back when we asked questions about the process. Really passionate about their craft.
This was definitely a very cool experience- Watching a historical art form be performed right in front you. It was pretty short though (20 mins) and we had to wait 15 minutes past start time to commence. When they tour is done they show you the gallery (gift shop). For the price I wouldn’t complain too much.
On a Tour of this site by our Gate 1 Tour my wife and I were very impressed with the quality and skills exhibited by their artists. It took about 2 hours and it was amazing to see the intricate designs and variety of glassworks they could create. We didn’t buy much in the factory shops but learned a lot about this type of skill from the demonstrations. Very interesting and impressive if you get a chance to visit.
It was nice but very short , I wish there was more time showcasing of actually making the glass , there were only 2 demonstrations, the guide was nice:)
The demonstration was wonderful. The shop is at least 2X times expensive than some of the other nearby showrooms. We hated that they were using car salesman tactics to sell us beautiful artwork. One of the pieces we liked was valued $2K, the salesman offered it to us with shipping and VAT for $900. It just felt wrong to us and so we walked out. While browsing around town, we noticed another shop with similar piece for $400 with shipping and VAT. So look around town, to get a feel for which shops have better deals and then make your purchases.
Great experience, watching the artists create beautiful glass work utilizing old world tools and skill set. A visit to the shop is definitely unique but not cheap. All hand made.
It is an interesting experience but the presentation is in 3 languages and given in a warehouse setting. It is hard to tell which language the presenter is speaking, it is very echoey.
The demonstration was amazing, but the commentary was in multiple languages. Better if there were multiple tours which spoke just one language so that its easier to understand.
We were allowed to schedule the tour, when in fact the factory was not open for a tour - so we made payment without receiving services.
Amazing to watch the artisans create such beautiful crafts. Truly beautiful to watch. Yes, they do want you to purchase items, but you do get credit for the cost of the tour
Very interesting/fun to see glass pieces being made. I thought there could have been more explanation of the history of glass making and the techniques used to make different things.
It was an amazing demonstration in which two expert glass makers created two objects - a round vase and a horse which at fist appeared to be nothing more than a round glob of molten rock, but after several minutes of heating, reheating, and shaping, the objects were created. There were also colors infused into the final product which was quite extraordinary to see its development. The demonstration itself lasted only 30 minutes and then guests were escorted into a showroom where 4 - 5 rooms of glass objects were displayed and for sale. Some were quite large and intricate. The company offered world wide shipping around the world. The 10 euro admission fee was applied toward a purchase. I would recommend this tour. Since I was staying at a near by hotel, it was a short 10 minute walk to the factory.
At first I thought I was lost because I was passing other studios but just keep going and you'll find it inside a small courtyard. Fabulous place and fabulous people! I have previous experience with glass blowing and I loved this experience! And the chance to shop their factory after was amazing! Incredibile pieces!
The island is gorgeous to look at and walk around. The glass store offers a variety of items, all beautiful. The demonstration was very interesting, and the showcase was full of amazing sculptures. It was however, shorter than I expected. I planned time around this activity and had plenty of time to explore the surrounding area. Still recommend this activity.
