Venice Lagoon Tour With Historic Venetian Boat

This was absolutely brilliant, our boot arrived on time at the meeting point, our guide was very friendly informative and stopped at lots of places to take pictures. Even had a bottle of prosecco too. Will definitely book this again next year.

Wonderful and unique way to explore Venice. Great guide too! Just a heads up though; this is advertised as, “a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate”, but we were on the boat with another group. Definitely misleading.

Brilliant tour of Venice, a very relaxed and enjoyable experience. Very accommodating, we had our 3 children with us , with one baby in a buggy and the tour operator did his best to help us .

The boat tour was on a miraculously well maintained boat that had been in operation for 90 years. The owner/operator of the boat did an excellent job showing us the sights of Venice. He added some extra time so we could catch the Venetian sunset. We even got to see the canals resident dolphin up close! We had 8 people on our tour, and it was an easy fit.

If I could give negative star I would. We were at the meeting point 1 hour prior the meeting time just to make sure we won’t be late or miss our tour. We were disappointed because no one or the tour guide never showed up. I called the number +393534705726, a man answered and told him about our reservation and that we were at the meeting point waiting. Said he wasn’t informed by Viator about it. Said he’ll check and call or message me back in a few minutes. He never called or messaged me back. I called him again and he said that he doesn’t have our reservation and hung up. Our vacation is ruined!! How do I file for a compensation claim?? Does anyone know?

The operator no showed. So no water tour was had. Called trip advisor and they were not able to reach the operator. Too bad it was our last day in Venice. Had something cafe time and a leisurely walk in its place Initially an email was sent advising I would not be entitled to a refund but then after sending a reply email advising the tour operator was a no show then another email arrived indicating a refund will be issued.

No show - Boat tour guide did not show up. Did not offer a refund just said I’m unable to make it. You can see in the screenshot where he messaged us and said not gonna make it and you can reschedule. We could not reschedule of course we were on vacation and that was our last day

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and I enjoyed it enormously. I would recommend it to anyone and it gives a good overall impression of Venice.

Tour operator cancelled on us the day before citing technical difficulties. It was suppose rain so I suppose that is why there were sudden technical difficulties. I expect I will never get a refund.

We were so very sad not to be able to go on this fabulous tour! Nothing went right the day we arrived, so we would have been over 1 hour late. Our guide was so helpful, though, trying to help get us on the tour, so 5 stars it is! We will not miss this next time we are in Venice and we are looking forward to it!

Was nice to have a private tour (5 of us) and get some great pictures from the boat. Khalil was very nice and friendly, boat is super cool. I was disappointed that not any info was shared about the city or any of the sites. We were told the names of 5-6 places but that was all. It was difficult to know if this was because of English?? Just different than I expected.

We were late arriving and the guide was travelling up and down the marina to find us. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The tour was amazing. I would definitely recommend it

We had a fantastic time onboard this lovely old boat and we got to see a lot of Venice on this hour long trip. Khaleel, was really friendly and knowledgeable. We also enjoyed a couple of glasses of complimentary Prosecco while enjoying the magnificent views of Venice.

Lovely trip through the tiny canals as well as the big sites. A great way to get away from the crowds and a way to see Venice if you have mobility issues or small children. Our guide was born in Venice and refurbished the boat himself. He seemed to know everyone on Venice!

Great way to get overview of Venice. Boat handling was amazing! But book on app; I booked online & all the TripAdvisor reminders never took me to the booking. All errors. But Khalil was great! He was able to get me to pickup point & had great trip.

Our private tour was truly fantastic - out of all tours we have ever been on in Venice, this on was by far the best! Our guide was extremely attentive and kind. He was extremely insightful and thorough in detailing all geographical and historical information pertaining to the area. He not only showed us all of the heart of Venice (San Marco, the churches, Murano etc), but also the greener side to Venice with all of its wildlife. Each tour is pretty much tailor made for you! Most tours are positive ratings. This one not , unfortunately. It is a direct ride to Murano with glass presentation for the purpose of purchase. Very expensive for the results.

By far, this was one of the best tours that I have had over the 7 years I have been living in Germany! Khalil made my oldest son's birthday very memorable! Khalil was so courteous, hospitable, humorous and flexible. He made it fun for us! We will definitely charter his touring service next year when we visit! (Khalil owns this boat.) We highly recommend Khalil's touring service. He is fluent in Italian, Spanish, and Arabic. It was enjoyable speaking to him in Spanish. Also, when he found out that we had to walk 40 minutes in the rain to our water taxi point so we can return to the airport. He called the taxi service and confirmed our tickets could be used at a nearer water taxi point. Since we now had ample time, he took us to a wonderful little restaurant. Best lasagna and grappa!!! He escorted us to the nearer taxi point and waited with us for the water taxi - in the rain! He left when he made sure we made it safely on the boat. Great service with a heart! Jared and I now call him a friend!

That was a great trip! Quasi 1 city tour by boat!! Includes 1 glass of proseccho. And we were only four a.d.beautiful historic boat. Lasts 1 hr. gives you a good first impression of Venice. Recommended!

Metro 5 Stars because I could not put 10, I really recommend to do this tour because you see practically all of Venice and the guide is one of the kindest people in this world. He pampered us, explained the history of all the buildings, took pictures of us and even left us in the shade.

We experienced a simply extraordinary day aboard a beautifully restored historic boat, the result of the passion and care of its owner. From the first moment, we felt immersed in an atmosphere of yesteryear, but with all the comfort and charm that only a lovingly restored boat can offer. The tour through the canals of Venice was suggestive and exciting: seeing the city from the water, gliding between palaces, bridges and enchanting views, is a unique experience. But the real added value was the itinerary: after admiring the less touristy Venice, we headed to Burano, with its colorful houses that seem to come out of a fairy tale, then to Murano where we could observe the magic of artisan glassworks, and finally Torcello, with its quiet and its ancient remains that tell millennial stories. The owner was not only a perfect captain, but also a passionate and discreet guide, always available to tell anecdotes and curiosities about the history of the places crossed. I recommend this experience to anyone who wants to discover the true essence of the lagoon, away from mass tourism, in an authentic and fascinating atmosphere.
