Great way to get a feel for the islands and determine if you would like to spend more time at them. The glass blowing demonstration was great but the store they took us to didn’t have as much variety as other locations.
Good commentator shared a little of information of all cities. The boat was a great way to explore the cities but at times was a little difficult to see views because sides of boat are high.
A great way to see more of the islands of Venice and learn more about the history and culture of Venice. The glass factory and demonstration was fascinating.
Elizabeth was very passionate about her job and very knowledgeable. She was happy to answer questions and made sure you were happy. Glass making was interesting and good service in the shop. Burano was super cool. Would recommend this trip.
It’s a very affordable comfortable tour and you can enjoy it several different ways. Watching the glass blowing, znd lace making and having an enjoyable lunch . It check many boxes and I recommend it.
Great semi structured tour to two islands. The guide showed us around, especially on Burbank, and spoke about Venice on the boat ride, and we had time on our own to explore. The boat is a small ferry (with toilet) and big by Venice standards.
Beatrice was great! We learned so much about Venice, Murano and Burano. Great lunch and gelato recommendations!
Take the water bus and go on your own. Not worth it at all. Tour guide did not keep track of the group. He did not wait for all and his knowledge and English was not good. My only disappointing trip I booked.
It was well organized and timely! Our tour guide was great! Very friendly and accommodating. She personally escorted us to the lunch option
Brilliant tour Elizabeth was great, large group so it started 30 mins before our scheduled time but easy to find, enough time in Murano and Burano would recomend when short on time and can use Viator with cashback sites so good value
Awesome trip! Loved Burano………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….. ………..
This tour is organized, the tour guides are informative, they have great people skills, they are happy and added so much to this tour
Excellent organization and easy to find the meeting spot. Our tour guide was friendly and helpful and very informative.
Not enough time to see the islands. Would just take the regular boat bus next time so you get to stay as long as you want.
The group was very large, making it difficult to have a personalized experience or to ask questions. Our time in Murano felt very rushed - half of it was waiting for the glass demonstration. Our guide was nice and knowledgeable, we just didn’t have much of a chance to get to know her.
This was very well organized. Getting to the meeting point was an easy walk if you’re staying near St. Marks and once at the meeting point, the line moved fairly quickly. Our English tour guide was Marta and she did a great job of pointing out various areas of interest while giving us some history with just enough detail so it didn’t become boring. Our 1st stop was in Murano where we got to see a live demonstration and then had time to tour the store. Make sure you go upstairs to see some exceptional pieces of work. Our next stop was Burano and we got to sample biscuits and visit a lace shop. We then had about 2 hours to shop at the various stores and even grab a quick lunch then it was back on the boat for the ride back to Venice. This excursion was one of our highlights of our trip to Venice and I would definitely recommend it.
It was a nice tour, but not exceptional. The guide was excellent but it seemed like the purpose of the tour was to get you in front of the restaurant and gelato establishments. I will say that the tour does give you a view of the glassblowing and a very short view of the pastry shop and lace making. The boat ride was very good.
Glass making, lace making, and bakery treats. Tour by boat. Much to see and do. Not a lot of walking, which was good for me. Awesome tour!
Great day exploring the islands of Venice. Loved learning a lttle about the 300 various islands. I recommend
It was ok. We added lunch and wine, you get 4 tappas style breads between 2 people and a glass of wine each. Probably not the best value. Burano and its colourful houses were the standout. The audio was clear
There are a lot of people on this tour, but overall you get a good introduction to the islands and lagoons of Venice.
Eliza was our tour guide on this trip and she was such a delight. She shared information about the history and tips on places to see and go.
This was a great trip and our guide was amazing and had very good recommendations for places to eat and visit. My family and I really enjoyed this trip. Thank you so much!
This tour was great! Our guide Nicola really made this experience personal and great. Nicola and the tour was informative and a wonderful experience.
The boat did not give a grace. As in five minutes for not being on time, we got there at 2:31 and they had already pulled out. Requesting a full refund.
The boat ride was a little bit warm but other than that it was wonderful. We chose the option that included lunch and wine, it was more of a tasting than a lunch. Would recommend to just get lunch on the island instead.
Overall great experience with a funny and knowledgeable guide (Marta?)! The time allocated for both islands were absolutely sufficient and the recommendations for a nice espresso and tiramisu was more than lovely. I highly recommend doing this tour and spending one day exploring both islands, connecting with locals and get a small (or big ;) gift for friends and family.
we saw a glass blowing factory in Mirano and a lace making store in Barono and a cookie factory. Interesting. Nice lunch in Barono
This is a guided boat ride to the islands. Once there you are shown into one of the murano glass factories, it’s a bit like a conveyor belt. On Burano you have a bit more time to wander, which was lovely. I wouldn’t bother with cicchetti and wine option - the information says you get three, but we were only given 2 each, and not allowed to make a choice. The guide David was very interesting and informative, unfortunately they cram 3 different tours into the one boat. We had a Spanish family sitting near us, where the parents were too interested in their phones than their children, who played up the whole time to get attention, and made it difficult to hear David’s commentary. I’m aware this was situational, but ruined the trip for us.
My daughters and I had a wonderful time on our tour to Murano and Burano. Our guide, Mikayla was very informative and super personable. She was warm and friendly and made the entire experience enjoyable.
They never showed up...we were on the phone with viator and they said they were there then said they left. Meeting point description was vaque, no tour company name listed...we got charged anyway. Viator said they woupd refund us then reversed decision. Very shady.
This was such a great tour experience. A great balance of fee time and guided explanations. The islands were so pretty and the glass demonstration was really fun!
Our guide Elizabeth was amazing! Very knowledgeable and kind. Above and beyond to give recommendations.
Great experience and fair value. Was happy to visit the islands and we enjoyed seeing them. Guides were very nice and informative.
This was a great way to experience the specialties of Venice! The tour guide was lovely, and the glass making demonstration was super cool to watch.
Very inexperienced, disorganized staff. Each of the operators were both late for meeting at the designated spot and for the boat departure. None of the staff knew where the boat was or why it was late. The excursion ended up starting over 40 minutes late. We had to cancel and not attend because of a reservation following this tour. We were very disappointed that we didn’t get to go on the tour, but we really couldn't trust that we would make it back in time.
Torcello is the best island of the three; not enough time allowed at any of the stops, especially Torcello
Everyone shoud do this trip to these 2 Islands. Did not know what to expsct but realised a truely amazing once in a lifetime experience. Could not fault anything. Professionally run by amazing tour guides. Really glad we did this
It’s an awesome tour, explore Glass factory in Milano really inspired us with there 700 yrs family business history. Burano also attract with its colourful street's, Delicious Food and shopping for traditional things. Nicole our guide also friendly and cooperative, suggested to operators to provide bater quality headphones for understand things more bater. Sight seeings are also beautiful all over the ride. Overall tour is perfect and highly recommended.
The tour was well planned and the tour guide also very good and informative. There was a little confusion for the meeting point. So better to be little early.
Great experience. We enjoyed the tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable! It was nice to take some time away from the busy city. The islands are beautiful.
Me and my boyfriend loved this tour!! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to explore murano and burano. Our guide Guila was excellent when informing us about the laguna
Great tour ! Very easy to find the meeting spot , guide was great and very informative. Enjoyed the 2 island visits
This was a great excursion we really enjoyed, the glass maker was amazing, guides great. The uses of mics and radios made it easy to hear all the guides has to say.
A little rushed to see three islands with a large group. The tour guide was great. The earphones worked very well. Lunch was eating on the run. Glass factory and lace making very interesting. But could not see the glass blowing because of the crowd
It was a good excursion to a Murano and Burano . Little crowded and minor delays. Our tour guide David spoke the most and told us entire history of Venice and even walked group to get a cookie in Burano. Went the extra mile for sure. Never did the third island and really not recommended. Burano was worth staying on longer!!!
Great experience. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and the destinations were absolutely breathtaking. Highly recommend.
The islands themselves are beautiful and easy to explore by walking. I missed out on most of the information from the guide: the sound system had so much static and with the guide’s accent I could understand only about every 3rd or 4th word.
The group was really big, so the boat was packed. Three tours in one with 3 guides in different languages. They use radios and headsets so at least you can hear, but the boat seats are around the side so it is hard to see and it would be nice to have outdoor seating. The first stop at Murano is too long. After the glass blowing demonstration there is not much too do. Burano was a better stop at least there is some good Gelato around. This was an average tour that showed a couple other islands but nothing amazing.
