Tour guide was right Burano is the star! Having a covered boat ride for most of the rainy day was a great way to still see everything this place has to offer. The rainbow houses and intricate lace are kids favorites.

Way too many people and too little time (<30 min) on Murano. You will spend of time just waiting to getting on and off the boat. Buy a 12H pass and take the public ferry service.
This was a wonderful experience. Beatrice was a fantastic guide and it was so interesting to learn the history of the Venetian Islands in this way. Murano & Burano are so lovely and Torcelli just gave us time to catch our breath. I highly recommend taking this trip on a visit to Venice
Burano was awesome but thought Murqno would offer more than just a glass blowing demo .Dont get me wrong was amazing but that was it nothing else to see .
Great trip. Easy to follow and great guides.
The guides were professional and knowledgable. The boat was small, closed in and like an oven in the heat. Felt very claustrophobic
It was a long tide in the boat. And the weather was not great. No fault of the guide. Boat was leaking from the roof so unpleasant wet ride home.
Our guide was excellent and gave us background and history of the 2 island communities. The price was good value. There was just enough time to watch the glass blowing demo before we departed for Burano. There was just enough time to get a pizza on Burano before we left. Take the Vaporetta if you want to have enough time to explore both islands with plenty of time. It would have been better if we had more time to explore.
Very nice tour of the two islands with time to explore we also added on tapas and wine for two
This was our first time to Venice si we wanted to see Murano, Burano, and Torcello. This was a lovely tour. It said small group, and we did end up breaking into small groups but all in all, there were over 89 people on the boat. The glass-blowing demonstration was fun to watch in Murano. The colored buildings in Burano were beautiful and bright! The medieval feel in Torcello was true to its claim. I would do it again and I would come in the summer. It is the end of March and it is 50° F.
Best part was the lovely boat ride! Very knowledgeable well-spoken guide. The visit to the glass work demonstration far inferior to Waterford in Ireland. Only 15 minutes, then “exit thru the gift shop”. Burano lace was a waste of time, barely a demonstration and shop shop shop.
We had a great time on the Venice Islands Cruise: Murano Glass and Rainbow Burano with City Tours CO. LTD. Our guide, Ilaria was friendly, knowledgeable and made the day so enjoyable. We learned a lot about Venice and its nearby islands. The glassblowing demo in Murano was fascinating and we loved visiting Burano…especially tasting the delicious Bussolai cookies! A fun and memorable experience…we highly recommend this tour and Ilaria ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We visited three islands off Venice. In Murano we saw a glassblowing demonstration and walked around. In Burano we saw lace and all the beautiful houses and canals. And in Torcello we explored the beautiful island. On the boat the guides explained the history etc. one of our favorite activities in Italy
The destinations were nice. Burano, especially was beautiful. The guide lost half the group by walking quicker than the stragglers could keep up. The descriptions were ok but not special. On board the boat, it was overcrowded with pushy tourists from every country. Overall, it worked out to be just average and a water taxi to Burano and Murano would’ve been just as good.
This is a worthwhile trip to take. Murano is amazing, Burano is quaint and pretty, Torcello is one of the few times you will not be around crowds...not bad. But the tour had a couple of negatives. The first was the fact that none of us could hear our guide through the earpieces we were given. It wasn't just my set, it was everyone's (a group of 6). The second negative was the obvious sales nature of the Murano visit. I don't mind this, and kind of expected it. But the pitch was pretty hardball. We honestly might have bought something had the pitch not been so hard. That just makes us want to walk away. Anyway, it was a nice way to spend the day. Hopefully they'll fix the headset problem, and just be aware that the sales pitch will be coming in at 100 mph.
The ear speaker unit used to communicate from the tour guide was terrible. The previous day we had a unit that came with a single ear bud - sound was great. This tour there was terrible feedback and the unit didn’t stay in our ears. Guide was great, information was good. I wish we had a bit more time in Murano and more info at the factory. Murano and glass blowing was my most looked forward to stop but we enjoyed Burano very much.
The trip itself was fantastic. But the meeting place was badly thought out. A lot of people not knowing where they should be. Maybe mention a boarding pier number. The guides were late and we were all standing around in the hot sun with no shade. Once on the boa,t the trip was brilliant, our guide was very knowledgeable. And both islands were lovely. Be prepared for the hard sell in murano though. €45 for a very small Christmas decoration is a bit steep.
Fantastic trip. Guide was brilliant. Murano with the glass blowing demonstration was so good. Then to Burano, stunning little island, so beautiful. Had a great lunch there too! Highly recommend this trip. Fantastic value for money.
Very helpful ,as an english speaker she was able to help us a lot and answer a lot of our questions ,definitely would recommend .
Good half day excursion to Murano and Burano island in a big comfortable boat. Guide was very informative. It was a bit struggle to find the tour starting point as the reps were bit delayed. Once the tour started it was all good. Highly recommended
Nice tour with a large group. Good value for koney. The glass blowing is nice to see and the islands are great. Good information during the boatride. The bobbin lace is not much of a tutorial though.
Wonderful tour and knowledge friendly guide. The trip started on time and ended on time with no problems. The Gloucester was very fascinating with knowledgeable staff as well. Thank You Syria.
Wonderful day out with incredible guides. Learned a lot about each island along with some demonstrations of glass and lace making. We would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit the islands.
Did this because my wife was told by a friend, it was an absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for your knowledge and Allegra
Our guide was super kind and knowledgeable, providing tonnes of information alongside local anecdotes and superstitions, she was happy to answer any questions and went out of her way to be helpful. The trip was beautiful, we learnt a lot and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others!
Tour guide was very sweet and the islands were the best part of our trip so far. Highly recommend this tour, value was great as well.
I’ll keep this brief: this is a very fun tour and good demo of glassmaking on Murano. They take you to the demo, which is exactly what you’d want and expect (cool nonetheless), then a showroom (where you are welcome to but not pressured to buy anything), then you take a tour of Murano. This is where our guide, Allegra, took the tour to the next level. Her expertise and experience as a Venetian came in handy as we walked around the quiet Murano and learned the history of Venice/Murano while walking along the canals. It was a great time, and we recommend Allegra, if you can request a guide.
Ilaria Zanini was our English speaking guide very well explained every landmark and history definitely recommend hope to see you again!!
Joy was a great tour guide. Highly recommend the tour. We visited 3 island and had lunch in the last! Very informative and pleasurable day
Really nice, although it was too hot. Nice programme to do with the kids, as it's not too boring or long each activity....
This tour was so great! It was great value for money. David was our tour guide and provided rich story telling - which really made this tour engaging and informative! The glass blowing was amazing to see. Great day! And wonderful tour guide
It was great to see both Murano and Burano, we are really glad we did this tour. The islands were both unique, colourful and added much more to our Venice trip. Our guide was friendly and informative.
David was a fantastic, knowledgeable and funny storyteller - we learnt so much along the way! The day was well with the money :)
David was fun and entertaining. Get in his group if you have a chance. The weather was super hot so make sure to bring water and a hat or umbrella. Lots of fun!
Great tour guide and Awesome views of the islands! Would recommend taking the longer tour to see more of Burano. It’s lovely.
Great experience visiting these Venetian islands. Gaia was an excellent tour guide. Highly recommended.
The views were very pretty and the guides were so kind and professional. I would recommend this tour to many other people.
The views were amazing. We saw baby birds which was adorable. Had a lovely time ! The ride was very steady and smooth. Which made you feel so relaxed
Wonderful experience! Very smooth. Experienced guide. Skillful gondola driver(?) Everything is good 😊 Love it so much 😊
misi was a great guide and told us about the significance of all the landmarks. gondola ride was quite enjoyable and scenic
I was pretty disappointed. I have never written a negative review, but I feel I have to. My gondola ride was supposed to be 30 minutes and it was exactly 20 minutes. That is a whole 1/3 of my trip shortened. The gondolier did not speak to us once which was ok, but for the entire ride he yelled out conversations to the other gondoliers. We were taken through one loop with no views. These excursions are expensive, and I expected better.
Fantastic experience! Would highly recommend, very good for price and you see a lot, such gorgeous sights. Allegra Breasanello our tour guide, absolutely amazing She went above and beyond for us on an off the boat She’s was 6 stars.
Great experience and very informative. The guide was very friendly. We had some issues attending the booked tour and they kindly agreed to reschedule the tour to a different time
Beautiful and informative gondola tour through Venice. Learned a little about the history and had pretty views for pictures.
Very nice gondola ride, amazing experience! Short and sweet! The skill of the punters is amazing! Grand canal is beautiful…
Awesome experience will truly recommend guide was v pleasant more then expected. Gondola ride was a lil short but overall v nice
Great experience. Our guide Eleonora Brunello was fantastic. And don’t miss the virtual experience at the end. I really recommend.
The Experiance was very nice and beautiful. Veronica was great guide, nice energy , happily answering all questions . She was cute!
The staff is very responsible and well explained the history of Venice. A very good experience on this short gondola trip. =]
