Let your creativity run wild as you choose colours, designs and embellishments (such as feathers, glitter or trimmings....) inspired by the famous Venetian Carnival masks, symbols of mystery, beauty and freedom.But that’s not all: our passionate and knowledgeable staff will also share with you the history and fascinating stories behind Venetian craftsmanship and Carnival, uncovering anecdotes and legends that have made this celebration famous worldwide. As you listen to these stories, you will delve deeper into the essence of Venice, making your experience not only creative but culturally enriching.
Our kids(9 & 11) loved designing their own masks and wanted to wear them the entire time in Venice!! It was really special learning about how they are actually made by had and the history of the masks. Thanks so much!
It's a small shop which feels very homely. The lady talks through what to do and shows you pictures of other mask to copy or give you ideas for your mask. We was a family of 3 and we had a great time. Would highly recommend it as its a lovely experience to do with your family or as a couple.

We all painted different masks and also purchased a beautiful mask at the shop for a very reasonable price, considering the skill and artistry. Highly recommend.
It was a pleasant experience for my two children (13 and 10). The masks were quality masks that made it home with us to the United States as keepsakes.
I highly recommend this experience. The shop was lovely and our guide was kind and patient with our small children (5, 7, and 9). It was a great activity for kids, and helped to break up a long day of walking around.
Came into town with two families six adults and three children. Thought the kittens would like this. And learned something. We all had a great time. Our artistic talents all came out. The staff was very helpful. Heading some finishing touches on our masks. I was amazed how good all of them looked. Definitely a great afternoon spent. Especially for families.
Really fun activity with my 8 year old. We were the only clients and it was a charming little shop. We were helped all the way and she was supper friendly and great with my kid. Had a super good time
Wonderful experience painting the masks. The owner was sweet and accommodating. My kids (14 and 12) had alot of fun. After a day of walking around seeing the sights it was the perfect break.
We had such a wonderful experience with Michela during our Venetian papier-mâché mask-making class! She was incredibly patient with our children, making the entire process fun, engaging, and stress-free for our family. Michela was not only friendly and welcoming, but also very attentive—she guided us step by step and helped each of us create exactly the masks we envisioned. Her encouragement and expertise really made a difference. She even went above and beyond by taking photos for us during the experience, which we really appreciated, and she recommended a fantastic restaurant afterward that we loved. This was such a memorable and unique experience, and Michela made it truly special. Highly recommend!

It was absolutely amazing! There are mask patterns available, so if you don’t have an idea of what to make, you can find inspiration. There are lots of things you can do, and several different styles of masks. We had a wonderful time!!
It was a great experience. It was only me and my friend in this workshop. The lady was there to show us what to do, gave us examples of different masks, etc. She was nice and helpful. We went a few minutes over an hour and it did feel a little rushed at the end. Overall though it was a great experience and we would do it again. You get to take the mask as a souvenir.
Tiny week shop, two lovely ladies running the workshop. We spent longer than planned, and their kindness and patience were incredible. Full of ideas and very attentive, inspiration all around you. We are now “Carnivale-ready”!

This was the perfect family experience during our stay in Venice! Such a special memory and souvenir to take along with us. Michela was amazing, and our daughter had a blast. We arrived having no idea what to do but left feeling quite accomplished.

Michaela is the best! Did this with my husband and I expected it to be the two of us and a gaggle of little kids, but it wasn't like that all. It was just the two of us sitting in her shop painting masks Michaela had made herself! To be honest, I don't have an artistic bone in my body so I didn't expect this to be my cup of tea, but as soon as I got started under the careful tutelage of Michaela, I went with it and had a blast! Plus, unlike so many other adventures, I was able to take the fruits of my labor home with me to remind me every time I look at it of this amazing experience. Must do!!!
Very friendly knowledgeable instructor who has been making masks for 40 years! Our masks came out looking fantastic. She gave us a lot of freedom but also suggestions and pointers along the way.
I had such a wonderful time at this mask workshop! It was cozy and intimate. I was the only one there, and I loved the one-on-one attention. What a fun hour in Venice. You get an hour to decorate a mask, with guidance and create the mask of your fantasies. I loved all the different masks that were on display, so much talent! Thank you for the great afternoon!

The two ladies were very friendly and helpful. They also talked about their work, I found it very exciting. The workshop was really great, you could choose one from different masks and paint them. The two women gave tips so I am super happy with the result of my mask.
Great experience for Venice, we leave with beautiful masks. The two ladies who taught us were very kind. You can go there with your eyes closed if you want an original activity and away from the crowd!
