Enjoyed doing the guided walking tour around Venice, easy to follow and very informative. Thanks

One of the meeting points of Venetians with a particularly curious history that is connected to... the lettuce! Sounds interesting, isn't it?
Among the streets of Venice is this bridge that all Venetians know. Why? I'll tell you the "funny story" behind this bridge that often goes unnoticed by tourists!
The most significant waterway in Venice. With its characteristic inverted “S” shape and a length of about 4km, it traverses the entire historic center, representing one of the most fascinating and evocative routes in Italy.
One of the city's landmarks with a special history behind it. Also be prepared to discover a special viewing terrace nearby.
One of the most unique buildings in Venice is hidden among the city streets! You can freely take some pictures outside but, if you want to enter, you'll need a ticket that cost 8€.
The hub and symbol of the city, St. Mark’s Square was praised by Napoleon as “the most beautiful salon in Europe.” This square, created with the construction of St. Mark’s Basilica and the Doge’s Palace, is universally renowned for its extraordinary beauty.
Perhaps the most famous monument in the entire city! We will talk about the history of the building and I will tell you some curious facts! Ticket cost: 6€

A very famous (and very photographed) bridge in Venice! We are going to see it from the outside and I'm going to tell you some stories about it.

Excellent walking tour guide for Venice. Interesting comments. Travel at own pace. Very enjoyable and easy to use
We used these excellent guides in Bologna, Ferrara, Ravenna, Padua and Venice. If you read them the night before you can get orientated ahead of time, then use them flexibly to visit the cities. Unlike a human guide, you can stop them, do a detour or stop for a coffee, then pick up again. You can also skip ahead, using the useful Google Maps integration to navigate your way there.
I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase of this digital guide! As a first-timer using an audio guide to explore a city (especially one that is complex like Venice), I was a bit apprehensive. But everything went smoothly. I loved that it was created by a local, and the historical background and fun facts about each site were fascinating. This guide is pure genius! I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the city at my own pace while learning so much. Grazie mille, Matteo!
If you want to tour the city at your own pace without a traditional tour guide I recommend this. Bring your smart phone and air pods to hear about Venices history.
It's a good idea and worked well, but the English narrator, translation and pronunciation make it less enjoyable. The itinerary also led is to some points where we had to go back through rhe same path to next place (not a continuous path). Besides that, it's a good option with some interesting facts as you visit the city.
Sadly by the time we started this self tour an electrical storm had arrived. We only got to 3 of the stops and had to abandon the tour. The 3 stops we saw were informative. You need good navigational skills.
This audio book was not easy to use, it doesn’t connect with your GPS so you have ti continuously toggle between the website and the maps. The info was not as helpful honestly.
Easy to access/activate and use. We used the guide more for reference than a complete walking tour and the info and links to Google Maps worked great. We’d have never found the tower without the guide’s rec and directions. Highly recommend!
Was ok. I wish there was a little more information on each place. Most recordings were around 60 seconds.
Perfect for the first day in Venice to get my bearings and to see the highlights of the city. Download was available immediately and off I went!
An interesting insight into an incredible history. Nice to walk the streets without a large group and very clear instructions on how to get around.
It was our first time in Venice, and we were only there for one day. Thanks to the walking tour, we got a wonderful introduction to the city and its most important sights. We learned a lot, had a great time, and really enjoyed the experience. It was fun, well organized, and a perfect way to explore Venice in a short amount of time. Highly recommended!
Only downside is the slightly annoying American accent!
Great digital audio and map of Venice. Would highly recommend!
Took so long to get to the starting point that we didn’t have time for the tour. We started at Saint Marks Square in Venice, and it took quite a long time to walk to the starting point. There was no simple way to get there..
Nicely planned with history on each attraction as well as some additional facts. Worked well for someone solo traveling, could go at my own pace. The audio guide is also written out if you don't have headphones with you.
The experience with walking tour with audio is simply great. Strongly recommend
It was a long walk from our hotel to the beginning of this tour so we just used the written portion. Well-researched, easy to access, and interesting facts. It’s like having a guide book. Didn’t get the full experience, but it wasn’t expensive.
We enjoyed the Walking Cap tour of Venice. The tour took us off the beaten track, along some of the quieter streets and explained some interesting facts about Venice. I would recommend this tour.
All I needed for the time I had! Good introduction to Venice, with ease of flow. This guide and other information provided by the various museums and historical sites made our trip fabulous. I’d definitely take another walking tour with Walking Cap!
Excellent tour and value! Works seamlessly with Google Maps and narratives at each stop are succint and informative. Bravo!
The tour was great for my wife and I because we could go at our own pace and really pick what we wanted to spend time at. Tons of great information about Venice and its history. The guide was very easy to follow and the Google Maps links worked flawlessly!! This self guided tour was well worth the small amount of money spent and gave us an amazing path through the city.
This great little tour ensured we saw all the important sites and a few lesser known ones such as the Palazzo Contarini. It was a good length and gave us plenty of time to explore areas in more depth!
Good information and good directions. We were able to adapt it to our available time. The guide had good information.
We loved the off the beaten path points we were taken to, as well as the path along those points. The information provided was concise and kept us interested. And if we saw something that interested us along the way, we just took our time there, making our own schedule. Loved the tour!
The tour was very informative and the speakers are native Americans so it was much easier to understand than a local guide struggling with English. The only issue we had is that the app only downloaded onto one of our two phones
Guides are a great way to see things at your own pace. Guide gives some history and insider tips. Just download before you start in areas with slow internet.
The information was really good, but my internet wasn’t working with T-Mobile bc I didn’t get an international data plan. You can’t download the tour and audio.
Excellent economical guide to a leisurely discovery of venice walking. Well created, informative and enjoyable. Well done.
Nice selection of points to visit. We had issues with wifi and accessing the audio. Would select another walking tour. The photos gave helped identify the points of interest.
The walking tour didn’t load in our app. Didn’t get to hear anything! Useless. Would like our money back!!
This could be a great way to see places in Venice without the constrains of a large group guided tour. Unfortunately, as often happens in Venice using maps can be difficult. But, I know some of my issues were my problem not the tour. I was able to get back to some places the day after and had hoped to finish it two days out.
A great do-it-yourself tour with lots of informative material. This was a great starting point in Venice that allowed us to learn about the city and fill in any gaps in our itinerary. When we didn't have something scheduled, I was always consulting this tour to see what was nearby and learn more about the wonderful history. I would definitely recommend this as a great no pressure starting point to get your vacation started.
The written and guide guides were great. Was a great and cheap way to start exploring Venice. In addition, we like the extra stories
We were looking for a tour that could bring us around the city without getting lost or stumbling into tourist traps. This audio tour was filled with great information and the Basilica del Frari had to be one of the most beautiful and enchanting churches we’ve ever seen. Thank you!
The concept of digital guide is really cool! It gives you freedom to visit at your own pace and the information given was very detailed and entertaining! Will surely repeat.
Good self guided tour. Need to be pretty good at navigating streets though, using physical map or electronic map...signals often delay your position; probably due to tight streets.
Good local company, friendly service and the stops on the tour were great but our guide was hard to understand partially due to the audio cutting in and out and because of a heavy accent. We think it was a good value but would be best to check in to make sure you can understand the guide.
Great guide, with descriptions and explanations and the directions on the map showing the location of the next point of interest was the “icing on the cake”. Simply awesome!
The tour was very informative and concise. We loved additional curious facts as well as tips. Also, it is very helpful that the guide is available for a few days.
It was very well explained, the map integrated automatically on my google maps. It took me through some streets I wouldn't normally go to. It's like roaming around at your own pace, but with a little guide in your ear,
The tour had really entertaining information, it had a nice route to follow and it was really convenient that you had the freedom to see everything when you wanted.
The audio guide was so helpful and provided great details about the things we saw on the walking tour. Made it so enjoyable to learn some of the history of some of things we were looking at. Will definitely recommend to friends traveling to Italy.
Excellent guide and so easy to use! Great tips like the bridge with the sordid past! So many hidden gems and we could do it at our own pace
This guide was well written, easy to follow, and enabled us to take in the main sites. Great value too. I loved the embedded links to Google Maps, which allowed us to navigate easily (although I copy and pasted each landmark into Apple’s Maps, which I prefer). Go for it!
I had an issue with the booking process and never went. Did not know the time I booked for. Was not in the area at departure time. Did not download or use this service.
Everything was great! Indeed. Had minor issues with my internet connection, but we handle ok. Thank u Matteo for help and good advices ❤️
Amazing script. Great way to see a city at your own pace. Easy technology. Thanks to Mateo for making it so easy.
Excellent experience. Learned and experienced Venice at our own pace. Also like that it took us to the big sites and little less traveled sites. Tech was easy to navigate as well.
