The Golden Age Of Venice: Inside The Doge's Palace

Although we did get to experience all the venues and experiences that were advertised, the tour felt rushed and we did not spend the amount of time, excluding the Gondola Ride, we expected to get a thorough and unique visitation.

Highly recommended experience. From arrival to the end of the tour, you feel welcomed and accompanied in a friendly and professional manner. Really well done.

Excellent tour and a great way to explore the Doge’s Palace. The guide was knowledgeable and shared fascinating stories about Venice’s history and its golden age. The palace is stunning, and the tour was well organized from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Badly organized and over priced. Time of meeting changed from morning to afternoon only day prior. Took the First to Doge's Palace, Bridges of sighs and then supposed to do the gondola ride. When we were taken over to do this we found time had changed from 2.00pm to 3.00pm. So we came back at 3.00pm only to be be told to come back at 4. 30pm. By that time it had started to rain and we ended up soaked. Not enjoyable. You could do these tours yourself and save money .

We were told to meet at a certain place 15 minutes early. We were 25 minutes early and the guide was no where. We messaged the tour company and they said they had made a mistake. Then gave us another meeting place. By the time we got to the second meeting point they had left. I tried messaging them again and they did not answer Terrible. Would not recommend

The guided tour of the doge was well done and included the prison and the bridge of sighs. However, the gondola ride was easy to access, but five people were placed in one gondola with two people in the traditional seats of the gondola and three of us sitting on small wooden stools, and not able to take pictures or to view all of the sites along the canal. This was very disappointing.

It is always good to take a tour. Our guide was a lovely woman and native Venetian. Her English is perfect and she was very knowledgeable.

The tour itself was fine, however they changed the time of our tour just 3 days before it was to start and moved it to a conflicting time we had tickets for the basilica. So we had to choose, VERY disappointing. If you book with them, don’t book any other tour the same day. We also got hooked into a glass blowing demo which was actually much more of a sales pitch to buy blown glass. Tour guide was good and the gondola ride was nice as the group was small and my husband and I had a gondola to ourselves.

The guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. The bridge of sighs and prison area was very interesting and a must see if you are going to go into Doge’s Palace

The Doge's Palace is truly majestic and enchanting; I suggest this experience to anyone visiting Venice!

Complete fraud, a scam!

Doges' Palace, prisons, Bridge of Sighs with gondola ride booked through Real Barcelona Tours - confirmation via Tripadvisor. The guide handed us tickets for the Doges' Palace and the museum. The gondola ride did not take place, although it was thoroughly described in the service package (30-minute shared gondola ride)! It supposedly does not belong to the package. We could have found the entrance to the Doges' Palace without a guide. Flat out scam!
