Itinerary
Today an early intimate, unforgettable and relaxing trip cruising the Venice’s lagoon :)
At first we will visit the Murano community, famous for its Glass production since 1000 years ago! This is the island where I came from and where we will visit the REAL glass industry seeing Masters working together their unforgettable "Glass Gallery"
And what about the second trip to Burano, fascinating colorful town famous for its millennial lace making production and its delicious sea food cuisine?!
About lace, will be the Vidal's family the one that will introduce it to us; I'm really sure you will love their "Atelier"..
Even in Burano you will have 1h of "Time out" where I really suggest to try our "Risotto di pesce" - "calamari", "cicchetti" and a lot of more..
In the end we will visit Torcello, discovering the most ancient community here, born during the Barbarians invasion where the last 9 locals are still living like 20century ago..

This tour was a great addition to our trip to Venice. We really enjoyed our tour guide who was very personable and funny. We got to see a little more than if we dis it ourselves, our only regret is that we dis it on our last day and not our first.
Wonderful experience with excellent guide.
It was an amazing excursion with plenty of stops for rest and great food options for lunch. Our tour guide was a joy and very funny.
Andrea was great-sense of humor, engaging personality and explained the history of all the islands. Torcello has great history and Burano very picturesque with great seafood. Had free time to explore. Had VIP status to glass blowing demonstration in Murano.
We had a fantastic tour of Torcello, Burano and Murano. We had more than enough time at all three places. The tour had a real local feel. We got to climb the tower at Torcello and see the magnificent views from the bell tower, see a lace master and glass master at work. Our guide, Andrea, was fantastic and very knowledgeable. A definite must do!
Andrea was a wonderful, attentive guide who made the trip fun and informative for me and my teens. He was warm and welcoming and clearly loves his job. We were originally going book a provate boat tour but were so glad we did it this way. The water taxis are amazing and the islands were truly magical.
Excellent tour of history and experience. Note that you need to purchase your own vaparetto (water bus) ticket and you will purchase your own lunch.
Andrea was an amazing guide!!
Andreapaolo was friendly, funny and knowledgeable. Great local guide with historical details who provided a balance of group time and free time to wander across three of Venice’s islands. He made the visit affordable, interesting and fun.
This tour was an exceptional experience. Andrea was very knowledgeable, personable, humorous, and made everything fun. He definitely enjoys his work and is good at it. He was good at keeping our group together and moving us along in crowded areas. My favorite part was the glass blowing exhibition on the island of Murano but all three islands had their individual charm. Andrea is well known by many of the people that we encountered along the tour which make the tour more pleasurable. I highly recommend taking this tour with him.
Thank you for a fun and educational tour Andrea! We had some good laughs and you made the rain part of the experience. Your passion for Venice is infectious and we loved it. I’ll bring your daughter a kangaroo next time we visit. 🙏🏽
AndreaPaulo is the best tour guide, ever! ...and he was very conscious of the needs of my elderly father. If we boarded the vaporetto and sat in disabled seating (away from the group), Andrea endlessly repeated ;-) himself to ensure that we received the same info and content that everyone else did. ...not to mention, his tour covered Torcello, which, to me, is the most important island over Murano and Burano!!
This was an excellent experience! Andrea is a great host, with lots of information, and stories and knowledge about local history and customs. The tour was well managed and timely throughout - he knows how to pace a crowd of people and keep us all interested. I would highly recommend!!
A great way of seeing these 3 islands in one day. Andrea was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and delivered this in an interesting and humorous way. He guided us through the various boat trips efficiently which we would have struggled with, if we had done this on our own
This is absolutely a must! We went as a family with our two young children and there was something for everyone to enjoy. Andrea was great at managing everyone in the group and keeping it upbeat but educational. If you think I you can do this experience yourself, you’re wrong. Going with a local will always always be worth it. 100% recommend.
Very knowledgeable tour guide. Great sense of humour made it fun for all ages. Well worth the money.
We clicked the hyperlink for address from confirmation email we received from provider and it sent us to the wrong location! Apparently others do this. We missed most of the tour as they left without us (we saw them leaving the dock we were that close to still making it). Also there were 16-20 people on this tour - not the “less than 10” they promise, which was why we chose it.
🌟 A perfect Venetian day! The tour lasted about an hour longer – but that’s Italian time 😊 We were a small and lovely group enjoying a beautiful day in Andrea’s hands. He shared so much interesting history and local knowledge along the way. I really prefer this type of tour compared to the big touristy ones. We took the local vaporettos, and Andrea was like a local “king,” always making sure we got ahead of the growing crowds — first on the first island and first on the local transport! A truly authentic and enjoyable way to explore Murano, Burano, and Torcello. Highly recommended! 🇮🇹✨
Had an awesome day in burano and Murano with Andrepoulo. He was the best! So knowledgeable and funny too! Highly recommend.
Likely I wouldn’t have gotten to these places without this tour. But even if I tried to do it on my own, wouldn’t have been nearly as good. Andrea has great knowledge and key relationships to get you to bypass lines. Seriously so worth it. Great places to see with a great guide!
Andrea was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun and interactive. We also appreciated that he knew where there were gluten-free dining options during our lunch in Burano.
Andreapaolo was fun and very knowledgeable. We had a group of 7 retirees (except 1). We loved the 3 islands we visited. The assistance with the water buses was truly appreciated.
Andrea was an incredible guide for our group of 6 while touring Torcello, Burano, and Murano! Even before the tour we were easily communicating about our best options for booking and using the vaporetto. On the day of the tour, Andrea was mindful of the ages and abilities of the members of our group, allowing for appropriate pacing and magically scheduling events at each location as we moved from place to place. The highlights included the best seafood we ate in Italy while visiting Burano and front row, reserved seating at a Murano glass demonstration. Grazie Mille, Andrea for a day our family will never forget!
Exploring the special islands around Venice was an unforgettable highlight of our trip—far beyond the usual city center experience. This tour opened our eyes to the beauty, history, and charm of these lesser-known gems, and we’re so grateful we didn’t miss out. Andrea, our guide, was exceptional—knowledgeable, warm, and effortlessly charismatic. His hospitality made us feel completely at ease and well taken care of. The tour struck the perfect balance between structured guidance and the freedom to explore at our own pace. It felt like a true concierge-level experience, and absolutely worth every penny.
Andrea was awesome! Super charismatic and insightful. He really took into account what each person on the trip wanted to do/see. Definitely recommend!
What an amazing time. We took an amazing boat ride to three islands, had a great lunch. Andrea was fun, knowledgeable, and attentive. I would take this trip again and wish we had just a bit more time on the islands.
If there's anything that Andrea is born to do, it is to be a guide. He's knowledgeable, sensitive, energetic, witty and makes everyone feel special. If you thought that Venice is only about Gondola rides, join this tour to get insights into rich history and tradition as well as current economy of Venice.
My wife and I had a fantastic time on the Island Tour, and a big part of that was thanks to our incredible guide, Andrepaolo. He was warm, kind, and genuinely happy to share the experience with us. His sense of humor, knowledge, and attentiveness made the tour truly special. We were part of a group with many children, and he handled it with such ease, offering tips, little-known facts, and interesting history about each place we visited. He always made sure everyone felt safe and included. We’re grateful for the care and energy he brought to the day. it really made the tour memorable. Thank you, Andreapaolo! Peter and Inah
Fantastic tour! A friendly guide who knows everyone. Efficient, eventful, and a perfect look at the islands. It doesn't take the entire day, so you can go back to any island you like more than the others if you'd like. Andrea had an anecdote about everything we could think of, and was a pleasure to be around.
This tour is a must book! Andrea, our tour guide, was amazing. He was super knowledgeable, engaging, and funny. The glass blowing demonstration was really cool to watch. Thank you again for an unforgettable experience!
Andrea was an excellent guide and had great personality. We had a great experience overall. The islands are pretty and he had great stories on the history as well.
Our guide Andrea was fantastic. He was colorful, friendly and attentive guide! He showed us the highlights of Torcello (which many tours unfortunately skip), Burano, and Murano. A great tour for a very reasonable cost.
Highly recommend this experience! I went with my partner and were lead by an amazing guide In Andreapaolo. He was very accomodating and made the experience extra special. Took plenty of photos and had an amazing lunch In Burano By far the highlight of my stay in Venice.
We had a great time! Andrea was very knowledgeable and personable! Bouncing around the islands via boat taxis is fun and a great way to see Venice’s exterior islands - Murano, Burano and Torcello. We highly recommend as it’s a unique aspect of this Geographic area.
Incredible experience! I wasn’t sure when I first booked it. The Guide Andrea was awesome! He was awesome! Very informative. We got to see a lot! I highly recommend the tour. Worth the money!!!
This tour leaves relatively early, 0900, so for much of it, avoids the crowds. We have spent 7 weeks in Europe from Australia, self-organised with many tours, and this was by far the best tour best value and best fun tour. Our Venetian guide was so passionate it was a pleasure to learn all about the lagoon’s history. Lunch was at one of several recommended restaurants and was lovely, by a Burano canal. The lacemaking and glass artisans they chose to take us to were outstanding. Well done Andrea!
Our guide was Andrea. He was our first tour in Italy. He made it better than we could have hoped for. His sense of humor was spot on for us. We would definitely book again.
Wonderful tour given by Andreapaolo. In addition to his lightheartedness - he offered historical context, great food, shopping photo opportunities and general understanding on how to navigate Venice. A nice plus, he is a true local with experience on how to keep us from the crowds! I would highly recommend this tour. Size of the group was also perfect. Thanks Andreapaolo!
Whilst I guide was friendly and funny, the whole experience was underwhelming and we definitely could have visited these three islands ourselves and got as much information. In addition to your online ticket price from Viator, you are also required to buy a public transport 24hr Ticket at the additional cost of 25 Euro. This is because the tour utilises the extremely busy and overcrowded Public Transport to get each of the islands. We did get to visit each of the three islands. The first Torcelli was probably the moat interesting but our time was limited here and I guide sent us up the tower with little information, whilst he stayed at the bottom to smoke. (There is a amazing small Museum here with Roman artifacts & Frescos but this was NOT included in the tour) Murano and Burano were both beautiful islands but unfortunately both of our organised visits to The Lace Shop & Glass Blowing Factory felt more like sales pitches than a actual demonstration. (The public can visit these places and see these demonstrations at any time for Free) In short, you can save yourself the price of this tour and instead buy yourself a public transport 24hr pass and make your own way to these beautiful Islands and explore in your own time.
We had a GREAT time traveling with Andrea. He is extremely fun. We felt like VIP'S! We took public transportation but still was able to skip every line. He truly knows everyone and is able to use his personal connections to ensure we get the most of our experience.
Our local guide was Andrea, he was knowledgable, funny and knew everyone. This was a real bonus when it came to jumping the queues. The islands are well worth a visit, so beautiful. So pleased we chose a local guide, he made our day so much more interesting and fun.
Ciao Andreapaolo 💕 We had such an exclusive / personal experience w/ you in Venice — our kids keep talking about you —- you are now their unofficial Venetian uncle. Day 1 in Venice we did the evening tour where it was really wonderful experience to get to know the city of Venice. W/ stories of history & culture … we stopped for photos of course … and authentic Osteria for dinner :) JUST AMAZING. Day 3 we did the island tour to Burano & Murano w/ Vapporetto… we were the only people … so Lucky :) We met in person the glass makers & their store - learned about the famous artists that order particular designs . Also, in Burano like Fairy tale (or colorful kids story book city ) we walked about the city & also visited the shop where they have school & actual seamstress who make the lace :) We even had time for lunch before heading back to main island Venice. The entire Experience w/ Andrea is AMAZING !!! Thank You 💕
Great tour with a variety of sights and activities as well as accessible commentary re: history and fun facts! Would highly recommend.
Andrea was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable and tried to ensure that all guests had the best experience. He is customer focused and has a great sense of humor.
Our guide was THE BEST. We learned so much that we would not have learned on our own. He organized tours and shared great information. He was very funny and personable. Grazie!!
Great guy, very enjoyable company and very knowledgeable with a real local. Couldn't have been better in caring for us, showing us around and giving us local knowledge and history. thankyou
Andrea the tour guide was such a fun and lovely person. He was very knowledgeable and knew a great lot
There is no way to do this on your own and if you travel to Venice you should not miss the islands that give the region os much culture. Our guide was fantastic - funny, informed, patient - and he made sure we saw what we wanted to see. I would add that a little more cultural history would have been great but overall we learned a ton, the tour was well managed and planned and we had a great time! Thanks!
Andrea was great! The tour was informative. I enjoyed that you had free time at each island to eat, shop, take pictures, etc.
