Elizabeth was a wonderful tour guide with a rather large group to shepherd all over the north of the Rialto. We stopped at four or five spots with everything from pastry to cichetti to gelato, navigating narrow lanes and large crowds on a Saturday. It’s a good introduction to Venice street food and having a fun group made it even better. Remember drinks are not included so BYOB.

Your street food tour will start from in the city center of Venice, close to Rialto Bridge, the oldest of the four bridges spanning the Grand Canal in Venice.
Feel the atmosphere of the hustle and bustle Rialto Market, which has been whetting appetites for seven centuries. Be rewarded while you taste local specialties and admire colorful seasonal products. Enjoy all the amazing monuments and district in the city together with your local and expert guide.
Do not miss the chance to admire some of the main sights of the city, such as Campo San Polo, Basilica dei Frari, Campo San Bartolomeo and more. Sink your teeth on the finest cheese made by locals, traditional pastries, and the famous Venetian tapas, known as cicchetti, snacks or side dishes, typically served in traditional "bàcari" (venetian bars) loved by locals when they think about relaxing or having a “happy hour” after work with friends. All food stops are included (expensed with drinks are not included).
Prepare to feast and be regaled by wonders of art, history and food!

The food at all 5 stops was seriously terrible, we were expecting beautiful tasty Venetian dishes and instead ended up with the below Stop 1. Small piece of sandwich with ham and cheese, small bit of sandwich with mortadella and cheese (was ok) Stop 2. Small bowl of undercooked pumpkin risotto, tasteless and chewy rice Stop3. Small bites of different meats etc on totally stale bread Stop 4. 4 different options, cold slimy sardines, chewy squid, some vegetable option and meatballs which were only just ok Stop 5. Gelato - it was ok The tour guide was lovely and this is not his fault however I soon came to understand why he does not eat any of the offerings himself! He really should be telling the tour operators that the food is not ok as he himself lives in Venice and knows better. All of the guests thought the same regarding the food but we had an enjoyable time getting to know each other
Come in winter, far fewer people so you can actually converse with your host. Tony was a lovely host
Informative and friendly tour around some of the city centre trying some finger-foods you may well not experience otherwise. Nice tour
Decided to take this tour on our first day in Venice to introduce ourselves to cicchetti and to get a guided tour of some of the city. Our tour guide, Emma, was fantastic and really made the experience something I'd recommend. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic and just made the whole event very enjoyable. We were able to try cicchetti and wine at 4 local venues and then ended the tour with gelato from one of the most highly-rated gelaterias in the city. We were with our 22-year-old son and he said it was his favorite part of visiting Venice. Also compared to some other similar tours, I thought it was very reasonably priced. Definitely recommend!
Tour Operator Split our group, changed times, .... never called until the last minute, and then gave a partial refund. What a joke. They proceeded to tell me that they tried to contact me via WhatsApp. Really? Have you heard of maybe using an SMS text message or perhaps calling? My wife, daughter, and friend ended up not being able to go. The tour guide knew what happened but simply told me to contact the company. She didn't seem to care at all. I gave them a chance to resolve it amicably; however, they had no interest. It was a terrible experience. There are so many other options; choose something else.
Would recommend this tour. Vanessa was wonderful! Very knowledgeable. Fantastic food and lots of it. We were able to taste foods we wouldn't have otherwise. Get value tour.
This was a fun tour and our guide, Anna, was very informative and funny. The tastings are unique and require an adventurous palate; however, there are alternative options if you don't want what is provided. There is time to sit and enjoy some of the offerings and we also got to know some of the members of our group who hailed from many different countries.
What a great experience we had tasting all the local Cicchetti! Our guide was EXCELLENT taking us to such fantastic places. You won’t go hungry.
We had an excellent experience with our guide who was knowledgeable on the area and the food tastings were very good.
Compared to other tours this one had nothing to remember it by. The two hours were spent with a somewhat boring walk from testy to restaurant. Be prepared to spend additional money for drinks along the route.
Tony was a great guide! Very kind and considerate of everyone. Included some history of Venice while we were waiting at different food venues. All food felt authentic to Venice. Too full for another meal afterwards!
Cant write 100 characters. It was just ok, a little disappointing. Not what I had expected. Overall it was just . Ending was the best.
Our guide Denys was very knowledgeable. The food was great & the perfect amount. Interesting facts were learnt along the way.
We enjoyed this tour. Tasted lots of interesting local foods. Anna was very informative and entertaining. We would recommend this tour!
Excellent food, excellent guide in a beautiful location- what more do you want! Tried many new tastes that we wouldn’t have tried in a restaurant! Because the portions were bite size, it meant we got lots for our money.
Very amazing tour. Plenty of good food wonderfully explained. Dennis was a great guide. Great pace and plenty of food to eat. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely do it again because there were lots of options on this tour!!
Denis was amazing and made sure i could try something at every place despite being gluten free Very fun and friendly atmosphere!
This was a fantastic tour! We experienced a number of traditional Venetian foods that we would not have otherwise known to try. Everything was very tasty and we were full by the end. Silvia was a very good guide. I highly recommend this food tour!
This tour was exactly what I hoped for. We stopped at 6 different locations, all family-owned businesses. There were many food and wine selections to choose from and it was all delicious. It was a great way to spend an evening in Venice!
Vanessa was great! She explained some history of Venice and took us around to some great places. She let us choose what we wanted to try and explained everything clearly.
Anna our guide was friendly and knowledgeable about the city and the food. The tour was over 2.5 hours and we enjoyed various cicchetti with the option to buy accompanying drinks.
Denys was great! He was super engaging and knowledgeable. We were taken to locations in the city we never would've found leading us to the oldest part of Venice. The food and drinks were very tasty. Well worth the price and highly recommend!
Ana was a great guide, lots of personality and made the tour. The venues and experience was everything we were looking for. Thank you
We had a wonderful food/walking tour . Our guide Denny was very knowledgeable, pleasant and polite . Food was exceptional and venders were great. Senior(60s) couple from Newfoundland Canada
Agency did good job with us being late. They communicated via WA and were very helpful. Many thanks for that again! Our guide was a little unexperienced, but very kind and really did his best to answer all the questions. Not a highlight of our trip, but I would recommend this experience as a short add on to the stay.
We recently visited Venice as part of a family vacation and book the street food tour as one of our experiences. It was so much fun. Our guide was Dennis (sorry if that is spelled wrong) and he was excellent. He was very friendly, a great storyteller, and very knowledgeable about the city and food. We visited 5 different locations and tried small appetizers at each. It was a great way to learn about some of the local cuisine, the history of the city, and get a walking tour from a local. We ended the trip with gelato which is always amazing. Definitely recommended for visitors to Venice.
Very interesting tour, lovely food! Our guide, Tone, was very knowledgeable. We visited 5 places and walked through the food market, finishing off with an ice cream. In 3 of the places a suitable drink was suggested as accompaniment to the food. A lovely way to learn about the city.
This tour was fantastic and delicious! Vanessa was an excellent guide who made this tasty adventure more interesting!
I came to Venice with my daughter and had 3 days fully booked with tours and things to do for us. We walked 25k in one day! When it was time to meet for this tour, we got our calendar mixed up and ended up at the other end of town by accident. I texted the tour guide and she went OUT OF HER way with positivity, telling us where to go and where to meet. We managed to meet them at the 1st food stop and sure enough got our samples to eat as well. This tour turned out to be out favorite one we took! Like I said the tour guide is awesome, so informative, knows so much history and took us to the best spots. Our group of people we were with were all so nice too , we got along easily and had a great time! I highly recommend this tour! Definitly worth the price and deserves a big tip ontop!
Anna was a great tour guide. She made our tour so enjoyable. We loved everything about it. Highly recommend Anna
Our street food tour with Neele was an amazing experience! We learned about Venice and sampled many local foods and drinks. We did not even need dinner after the tour-it was plenty of food.
A fabulous tour with a range of delicious treats and the optional extras of breakfast wine, angry wine and spritzes! The variety of food was great and we tried things we'd never tried before and we loved the little hidden treasures of bars and bakeries that we visited. We loved the pastries at our first stop and the wide range of cicchettis with delicious toppings but the fried cheese and ham sandwiches were definitely the winning dish for our entire party of 10! Dennis was fun and informative and really made our tour a memorable experience.
Guide very informative, great way to experience Venice . Some food tasting stops were better than others , but that’s part of the experience
Vanessa had clearly a great connection with all of our food establishments. She gave excellent background information on not just the food we sampled, but on Venetian history and culture. The food was amazing, gave me an opportunity to try things I might not have tried on my own, and was enough to make dinner unnecessary! Wear good walking shoes and be aware that there are many steps to cross canals on the journey, but the steps you will put in counteract the calories of the delicious cichetti. Thank you to Vanessa for a great tour.
Our guide Denis was very knowledgable and there was a great choice of cichetti. We really enjoyed seeing the less known areas of the city and hearing about other places that are worth visiting
It was fun tour! Plus... interesting local food. Our guide Anna, was funny, telling us about history/tradition of Venus and showing local food shops. We had at least 5 testings, a lot of food to try. Anna was asking us, what particularly we want between each testing, because the venues even offer verities and you can pick what you like... so smart! My advice: Don't eat before coming to the tour, and don't plan the dinner later! You will be so full!
The food tour of Venice was lovely. Neele, the host, was very friendly and knowledgeable.she was very approachable and happy to answer any questions that we had. The food stops we had were very interesting, and Neele was able to tell us the venues and Venice in an engaging manner.
Fantastic experience. Our guide Vanessa was smart, entertaining, knowledgeable and a great tour guide. Food was yummy and pace was just right. Highly recommend
It was a highlight of our trip to Venice! The tour guide was very nice and provided interesting pieces of history along our route. We visited 5 places where we were able to have small bites of venetian street food. It allowed us to try food we didn't know about and wouldn't think of ordering for ourselves. For anyone looking to book, it would be a good idea to book well in advanced for best prices.
Our guides personal knowledge of the city was the highlight of the tour, sharing this knowledge is worth the tour. The food choices are a bonus, however I would recommend a group booking or at least a couple, we booked as a couple joining a group and the others cancelled, so it was just us. Sorry it was a bit busy during Carnivale to take successful photos
My partner and I really enjoyed this tour and felt like it was a great way to explore parts of the city whilst trying some amazing small dishes along the way
This tour was amazing and definitely one of the highlights of our time in Venice. Our tour guide Anna was not only nice, but informative and organized for our large group.
Guide Sylvia was super knowledgeable and the Chichetti were phenomenal. Finishing off with tasty gelato was a nice touch
This was an interesting and delicious way to spend an evening in Venice. Vanessa was knowledgable, funny, and a great host! The food was so good, and I was really excited that we stopped at Cantina di Mori, since I had heard about it already. Lovely evening!
Tour was fantastic, our guide was lovely and very knowledgeable and gave us an insight into Venice and its history as well as taking us around to all of the local food spots and offering us a variety of treats to try!
Insightful, interesting and a great way to experience parts of Venice you might easily miss. Anna, our guide, spoke clear English and really knew all the details of the food, sights, places and names of the tour. She arrived promptly in an easy to find location and we were quickly on with our tour. Lots of fascinating information and insights, regular and timely stop offs at at least 5 places to sample the food and street food delights of Venice. Highlights were the amazing fresh fish and veg markets, the detailed informed dialogue and the various tasting stop offs. There is something for everyone and you are informed and asked what you want/prefer all along the way. Our guide was open to questions, suggestions and very informal and courteous. A really great experience with a full 2+ hours of walking, eating and information. We really enjoyed it. Notes would be, the walking is great but wear good walking footwear as the paths can be uneven and drinks are not included in the tour (the food tasters are) but are available on route for extra cost. This was a great morning. Worth every penny!
We had a lovely guide called Alicia, who was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. At each of the 5 places, we tasted something sweet or savoury (note we only stopped to sit and eat once, otherwise we stood). Very interesting way to get to know more about the city.
The tour is very good, the food is divine and the guide made the experience even more special! We knew what the Venetians eat and learned a lot about their history.
It was a pleasant and educational morning with Ana as the guide! It was also interesting to talk to the others in the group who came from many places around the world!
