Very nice tour of the Basilica and Palace. Went across the Bridge of Sighs and took a gondola ride. The tour guide Marco was very helpful and knowledgeable. Be prepared for lots of stairs and grumpy gondola attendants.

We learned a great deal of the history of the Doge Palace from our guide Marco, and we had a wonderful tour of St Marks Basilica. The gondola ride was also wonderful. All in all a very good tour.
Excellent tour of Basilica and Doge Place, followed by gondola ride. If you want to get robust overview of the 2 sites in limited amount of time - this is the best way to do it. Gondola ride also covers a bit on the Grand Canal and smaller waterways. Tour guide was very entertaining and did super job.

The tour itself was amazing and I loved our tour guide. However, after checking the ticket price for the palace, the church and the gondola ride, there's no way it was worth $175 per person. Very overpriced

This tour was nice but we felt that it spent way too much time in the palace and definitely not enough time at the Duomo. It felt kind of rush and we didn't even get to quite see the altar or enjoy the beautiful inside of the Duomo. The gondola ride was nice.

Highly recommend this tour! Our guide, Giuliano, made the experience so much fun with his humor. The meeting location was clear and easy to find, and everything went off without a hitch. The tour lasted about 3.5 hours and felt completely worth the price.

The tour was great. The gondola ride was very uncomfortable. They put 4-5 people on each gondola so only 2 people are comfortable. I would have gladly paid a little extra for a 2 person only ride.
Such amazing historic sites. We were led by a very knowledgeable guide, Marco, who was also very funny. It was a windy day so the we did not get to do the gondola ride. None of them were running. Viator quickly reimbursed us for that portion. Fortunately we were able to take a ride by ourselves later in the day.
Phillip did an amazing job! We loved hearing all of the history and seeing the beautiful architecture. Totally worth the price.

Our guide was wonderful! The history she told was very interesting and important for a better appreciation of what we saw, especially at the Basilica. The tour of the Palace is longer and be prepared for lots of stairs and standing for a long time, but it was fascinating. The gondola ride was very nice, about 25 minutes through neighborhoods as well as the Grand Canal. There 4-5 people in a gondola so be prepared for that.
We scheduled this morning tour the day after we arrived. It was a perfect, informative introduction to Venice. Our guide Aleeza was superb. We sincerely appreciated learning about Venice’s history to put context to our experience of the rich culture. Aleeza was incredibly knowledgeable, and delivered information in such an interesting manner and with injections of humour. We felt so much more informed than if we had just toured the Basilica and Doge Palace on our own. The gondola ride at the end was icing on the cake. An excellent guided tour and we would highly recommend.

Great way to carve out time to see two great landmarks and have the quintessential gondola ride. Probably could’ve done each of these things individually with no difficulty, but it was nice to have it all put together for us with a very nice and well informed guide to help us navigate the lines. Also, Filippo took us through a bit of the Backstreets and made some great restaurant recommendations. He was very kind and attentive. Highly recommend if you have an afternoon in Venice and seeking to get the biggest bang for your buck.
A great way to see the highlights of Venice. The guide was very knowledgeable. You'd miss too much on your own and waste time in lines, so the quick entry alone is a great value. The gondola ride at the end was the icing on the cake.
This tour was exceptional, especially if you only have a few days to spend in Venice. Our guide was very knowledgeable and informed us about many historic facts. She pointed out features of the Doge and Basilica that we would never have known if we toured this on our own. The Gondola ride was a good way to top off the tour. I highly recommend this tour.
I feel annoyed about giving it 1 star as Roberta our guide was great and so was Doges Palace and the Basilica. Unfortunately when it was time for our gondola trip - the rain was so severe all gondola rides were cancelled and with the thunder and lightening it made it even more dangerous. A sensible thing to do would be to cancel that part and refund people - but no - they said we had to do the gondola in driving rain amidst a storm. This was a holiday after my husbands cancer treatment and there was no way I was being made to do this. I asked for a refund for the gondola part. Looking at the website - a shared gondola cost approx £62 for 2 of us so thats all I asked for. I was given £25 and said they had reviewed it. I have since also contacted my bank to try and chase missing funds. Will never use this company again

This tour was the perfect way to hit the major sites at St Mark’s Plaza. St Mark’s Basilica was beautiful. The Doge Palace has a wealth of history. The highlight was crossing the Bridge of Sighs. Our guide Roberta was excellent.
